Located in the heart of the Domaine de la Besse, between the medieval town of Mirepoix and Lake Montbel, the campsite is the ideal starting point for exploring the Ariège. You can enjoy the simple pleasures of nature, walks, hikes …in the forest and mountains, swimming in the river, but also numerous sports activities and theme parks. Enjoy the clear, transparent water of our lagoon pool with white sand. It is completely natural and filtered through sand. The lagoon: it is a unique swimming pool in Ariège and Midi-Pyrénées. 500 m2 of swimming area with gentle slopes so that the little ones can swim safely and adults can swim freely. A sandy beach and a grassy beach surround the lagoon and invite you to sunbathe in peace. The Zen and wellness area* is a huge, 400 m² wooden terrace on stilts, from which you can see the entire property. Here you will find a breathtaking view of our beautiful Pyrenees, an indoor pool, a bubble sauna with a view, a bubbling spa to relax in, a herbal bar to refresh you in summer and warm you in winter, and a massage room. The Besse farm is located in the middle of a 200-hectare estate with meadows and forests and offers a view of the river ‘l'Hers’ and the village of Camon. Throughout the year, the herd of cows and their calves graze on the estate's pastures, while the other animals live in the centre of the farm. If you don't feel like cooking, there is a snack bar, pizzeria and restaurant on the campsite. We look forward to seeing you!
