Pure idyll
The owner of the farm is Dutch and has lived in France for decades. The narrow strip along a small stream has space for about 8 tents.
Chickens and a peacock roam freely on the property and goats graze behind a fence.
The sanitary facilities and the small terrace, where you can also get a beer, are really... rustic.
I got to know the owner and her son, both of whom are very friendly.
The farm is located in a small valley far away from the hustle and bustle, totally quiet.
From here you can discover the beautiful 'Plateau des milles étangs', also known as 'Little Finland'.
About 24 km away is the Ballon de Servance (1216 m), a beautiful peak that is much quieter and more idyllic than the other better-known peaks on the Route des Crêtes.
