Arrival by 9pm would have been no problem at all. The front part of the site is very open and free, more reminiscent of a mobile home park, but is quite new, something still needs to grow, plots... there are quite large, pitches partly gravelled.
The rear part of the site, where we were, was a bit more overgrown, partly separated by hedges, electricity and water easily accessible everywhere. Pitches slightly smaller than at the front, but sufficient for a medium-sized caravan with awning and car. Some pitches also gravelled.
Sanitary facilities in the rear part clean and well maintained, could be a bit scarce in the main season. But was absolutely sufficient over Easter.
Bread roll service and small snack bar on site.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Absolutely flexible and very fair, even when canceling (our daughter was unable to arrive at short notice due to illness).
Location a little out of the hustle and bustle, but firstly we like it that way, and secondly everything important can be reached quickly and easily by bike.
The site and surroundings are dog-friendly / suitable for dogs.

The washing machine and dryer are reasonably priced. The distance to the beach is manageable. The atmosphere on the pitch is pleasantly informal: not intrusive, but very helpful and super friendly. The younger lady came to say goodbye to us on our day of departure and when we left on our bikes, we were always wished lots of fun. We have rarely experienced anything like it. The fact that the older lady comes across as rather North German and frugal is not a reason for negative reviews. Not everyone is a cheerful Rhinelander! Negative reviews are absolutely incomprehensible and can be safely ignored. We are permanent campers with our family. The quiet location and yet the proximity to all the essentials make the site so good. It's a quiet family site... - keeping to the quiet times makes for a relaxing vacation. Cleanliness is the top priority here - thank you for that! The sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day. Furthermore, the campsite is only driven at walking pace, which is adhered to wonderfully by everyone, so that you don't always have to keep an eye on your children every second. The small and very well-kept family campsite is located a good distance from the main road and it is estimated that a good half of it is used by permanent campers.... The pitches are of a more than adequate size. Particularly noteworthy is the cleanliness of the site and the sanitary facilities. They are cleaned several times a day and the cleanliness is checked. The daughter of the house is always very friendly and active on the site. My wife and I have also always found her parents and senior managers to be friendly and in a good mood. It's incomprehensible that we've read anything else here. Cakes are baked almost daily and sold at reasonable prices. Bread roll service is also available, the nearest good place to eat is in Ording, about 20 minutes' walk away. The sanitary facilities are as good as new, not too big, but always more than adequate, even at weekends, when most of the permanent campers were also enjoying their free time. Regarding the payment method by top-up card for the hot water: I wouldn't need it. However, after 13 "test days" I came to the conclusion that this is still much better than a coin system. Cycling around Eiderstedt is possible directly from the campsite, the extensive sandy beaches of SPO are also within easy walking distance, and there is also a bus stop not far from the campsite. This is the third year we have visited this site with our dog and we have always received a friendly welcome. Many of the campers there are permanent or seasonal guests. If they weren't satisfied, I don't think they would spend much time... there. Reviews are always subjective what one person likes must not please another. The pitches are beautifully laid out and are large enough. Contact with the other campers is always very open and friendly. Many kite surfers and beach sailors can be found there. Everyone is considerate of each other. The campsite advertises itself with the slogan "Quiet, friendly family campsite". If you want to party, you should choose a different campsite. The occupants are absolutely unfriendly, which really puts you off. You always get the impression that you've done something wrong - even if you haven't... done anything at all! Then to be asked questions (by him, I'm female) like what I'm wearing under my poncho after showering is really too much!!! It's also really expensive: with a caravan and car alone, it's €21 per night, excluding showers and tourist tax. And if you don't leave by 11 a.m., there's another half night's accommodation charge.
