The pitches for motorhomes are not inviting, you stand next to each other like in a parking lot. The sanitary facilities are older, but good and clean. The store on site is adequate but expensive.... The reception has no opening hours. At this time of year, the campsite is not very busy and not full. The pitch (140 m², electricity, water & drainage) is very spacious and offers plenty of room.
The staff are all very friendly, welcoming and helpful... (big thanks to Frank).
Sanitary facilities always very clean. CP store well stocked and offers everything you need. Not overpriced.
We have been here several times and will be back in the future.

The site is right on the Baltic Sea, you only have to cross the dyke once and you're by the sea. At the sea you have the choice between textile (around to the right) and Fkk (around to the left). The campsite team is always friendly and helpful.... The sanitary facilities are older, but always clean (cleaned 3 times a day). Dahmes promenade can be reached by bike in 10 minutes, where there are nice restaurants, cafes etc.. The only downside is the poor internet and cell phone reception. However, it is definitely advisable to have bicycles with you as Dahme is quite a long walk of about 1.5 km. There is a small store on site where you can get fresh bread rolls even without pre-ordering but the assortment was not so tailored to campers, unfortunately the restaurant on the square has been closed for a long time reported to me one of the regular guests which is a pity would make the place even better. Reception very friendly and relaxed with detailed information about the offer and a map of the parking space. Location: Fantastic. Quiet, right on the dyke, short walk to the beach, dogs and nudism allowed, no beach... chairs (I personally don't like them). A bicycle to Dahme is advantageous. Shopping: There is an organic shop attached to the site where you can get fresh bread rolls without having to order in advance. Otherwise, the store is not very camping-friendly and too expensive. There is a well-stocked Edeka and a fish shop in the village. A discount store in nearby Grube. Gastronomy : Without end, in all price ranges in the village. Sanitary facilities : Somewhat outdated but well thought out. Different heights at the sinks and disinfectant in every toilet, which I really liked. Cleanliness, well... You shouldn't always ignore the cry of the taps and shower heads for limescale cleaner. Surroundings : Cycling, swimming, strolling in Dahme, good food. Super! And now for the kids. There is little or no mobile internet in almost the entire Dahme area. Even making phone calls is sometimes difficult. So ideal for smartphone withdrawal. 😂 There is a free hotspot on the campsite, but it doesn't always work. There are a few insider tips for free WiFi access in Dahme. Just watch out for large gatherings of teenagers. To summarize: a great place with a great environment to relax and enjoy. Store on site with lots of organic products and fresh bread rolls, unfortunately only open until midday during the week. Resturant on site was also okay, we were there on Thursday (open kitchen day). Staff are very friendly and helpful.... But there are also weaknesses, sanitary facilities are very outdated. The lighting on the paths is defective in places. The facilities for the fire extinguishers, which are distributed on the site, are either empty or the testing of the extinguishers has expired since 2013. If there are fire extinguishers, they should also be tested and in working order. All in all, it was still a nice stay on the site.
