At reception we were given a folder with everything we needed to know (excursion tips, cycle paths, hiking trails, shopping facilities etc.) to look at (very helpful).
The terraced pitches are very beautiful between the vines. Unfortunately... we had no W LAN at the site, although we were assured of reception.
There are numerous leisure activities from the campsite and it's a dream for cyclists in particular.
The sanitary containers took some getting used to for us, as the toilets and showers are in one room.

Access to the caravan and awning was a bit tight. But that was okay for the 10 nights. The vines also provided privacy.
The reception was very friendly and we were given lots of information.
The surrounding area offers many... opportunities for cycling tours and perfect and mostly shady walks.
We were particularly impressed by the light railway museum and the ride on the light railroad. For my two-and-a-half-year-old grandson, who was visiting, the playground was a highlight, one of the best playgrounds she has seen, according to his mom.
If we ever want to spend our big annual vacation on the site, then only on a site with a slightly larger area.
According to the flyer, we were supposed to be able to use the WiFi on terrace A for a fee. However, Wi-Fi was only weak or not available at all. It's a good thing I didn't buy a ticket and that my smartphone had good reception. To save my honor: I have never been to a place where the WiFi was used, despite the costs.
We also ate twice in the restaurant on site. The food was okay, the schnitzels were just ready-made from the fridge, but the very tasty tomato soup was either home-made or refined. Next time I will go for the pasta dishes, which my wife and daughter say are quite good.
In Langenlonsheim, we enjoyed some delicious ice cream in an ice cream parlor.
My conclusion: now that I know the disadvantages and the advantages outweigh the disadvantages for me, it's a place I'd like to visit again, especially as it's not far from my daughter, son-in-law and grandson in Mainz.Перевод автоматический.

Great sanitary facilities, with spacious shower cubicles. (For the first time I discovered folding glass doors in a shower cubicle. Showering like at home!!!)
Another highlight (perhaps not for everyone) are the 2 outdoor showers on the lower part of the pitch.
The cabins have walls, but are open at the top. This creates a great feeling of space.
The uncomplicated bread roll service is also great. You can order bread rolls for the next morning via "WhatsApp" or "SMS" until 20:00 in the evening.
Dogs on a lead are also welcome here.

We were given a very nice welcome and there was a folder with things worth seeing within a radius of about 50km. That was something new for us. You don't need to collect lots of flyers that end up in the bin.
The sanitary facilities took some getting used to. The showers... were very big, but there weren't really any washbasins to wash in. So I blocked a shower even though I wasn't taking a shower. Our second fear was that we would have to queue early or in the evening to wash. But even that was only rarely and briefly the case.
We have often experienced that the pitches these days are designed for caravans/motorhomes. With a folding caravan, which can be twice as wide as a caravan, the pitch quickly becomes tiny. But it was fine. This was also due to the fact that the pitch was not full to bursting.
We liked the idea of pitches for people passing through. The amazing thing was that they parked their caravan, secured it a bit, put out the chairs and that was that. So far so good. The next morning we set off at the crack of dawn. It was as if some people were clearing out the whole caravan and putting it away again. It was a real phenomenon. But that's not a problem that the operator can do anything about. It was just funny that this applied to 70% of those "passing through". And only if you don't sleep like death.
Let's not forget the restaurant. The sanitary facilities are spacious, but there could be more toilets, as there are waiting times when the site is full. We really liked the two outdoor showers. Something of southern Europe!
We paid €46 for two nights for 2 adults with a caravan. The price-performance ratio is amazing!
