Whether camping, with a caravan or even renting a house is possible here. Running, cycling or hiking, even water sports are possible here. If you want to get away from the stressful world, this is the place for you. This beautiful nature reserve is the perfect... place to relax. The operators are very friendly. The groundsman is very friendly, obliging, always ready to help and always has a kind word for the guests. You couldn't wish for a better employee. No matter what problem you have he finds a solution 😉😄. Ideal for cycling tours.ОтрицательныеEverything was okay for usA great weekendWe arrived at the Lippetal campsite very late (after 8 p.m.) due to an unexpected traffic jam on the highway. Would we still get a place for our WM? Fortunately, the barrier was open. We quickly got out of the car and walked towards the brightly lit restaurant to find someone there. A gentleman came... up to us and asked if we had reserved a seat. No, we didn't, we replied and thought that we probably wouldn't get a seat. But then came the surprising answer. "That doesn't matter. We haven't turned anyone away yet. I can offer you a place there. Come with me". We were totally surprised by how friendly and accommodating they were.
It was a grass pitch with a small hedge and the sanitary facilities were just around the corner. We were thrilled and stayed on the pitch for a total of 3 1/2 days. The friendly gentleman turned out to be the owner of the site. We can recommend the place without ifs and buts. The location was brilliant for cycling tours. There are more than 200 km of paved paths along the water where you can also watch the boats. Simply a feel-good vacation. The Centr O in Oberhausen is very close by. - Carina S.August 2013This was our first time camping as a family (two adults with three children, aged 9, 12 & 13). My husband has often been camping on his own. Compared to other campsites, the price is great. We arrived with two tents, which fitted easily on the pitch with the car. There was also enough space to sit, eat... and play. The sanitary facilities are cleaned every day and are very clean. It is no problem to do your laundry and a dryer is also provided. If you don't feel like cooking, no problem. You can eat very well there for relatively little money. Our youngest loved playing in the small but nice playground. The family environment didn't make you feel unwanted "just" because you're not a permanent camper. Quite the opposite :) The owners of the beautifully situated campsite are very friendly and accommodating. You have the feeling of coming "home". It's great fun to swim in the adjacent canal. The water is clear and clean. We couldn't say anything negative about any garbage problems!!! As mentioned above, the campsite is very clean and tidy. The five of us loved it!!! - Felix N.August 2011The farm is run by a family. We waited quite a while at the registration desk as the groundsman seemed to be alone. After about 10 minutes, his attention was on us. He seemed a bit stressed and looked a bit grim. Our pitch was big enough and had water and electricity. Toilets and showers were in the... immediate vicinity. Overall, the whole campsite is very green and well-kept. There is a playground and a jetty by the water (which I was pleased about as an angler). Unfortunately, the new games room was still under construction. In the evening we tried out the restaurant. The food belongs in the "home-style" category. You get large portions for little money, so you can't go far wrong. What's more, the homemade ice cream was pretty good! Our grim groundskeeper also seemed to be in a better mood that evening, which he signaled with a small nightcap on the house :) There was a wide range of guests, families, young couples and pensioners. When we asked for a place to make a fire, we were given a converted washing drum free of charge (see photos). Now I want one of those! I can only recommend this campsite, everything was in top order and the operators are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back next year!Перевод автоматический.
