"Fits so far - We were only one night, in transit.reception was closed.after a phone call we could choose a parking space.everything unproblematic, even the payment.envelope in the mailbox.sanitary very outdated but clean

"Good place - We are campers with a van and have been to the site several times. Very nice and helpful operator who tries to make everything possible. The sanitary facilities in the barn are very good and spacious and are cleaned regularly. We will definitely be back!

"Very quiet place and friendly - We spent one night on a beautiful large meadow in front of the site while passing through. We received a very friendly welcome and were able to park wherever we wanted without any problems. We used the restaurant in the evening... I'd say it was enough to fill us up, more snack quality than restaurant. The sanitary facilities are housed in an old farmhouse and are perfectly adequate for two nights. We liked it very much and will definitely come back again.

"Location is good, but... - We stayed at this campsite over Easter because we wanted to visit the excavations of the Varus Battle. The location is super beautiful. You can walk through the forest to the excavations and also see deer and the like. We had one of the few tourist pitches on the site itself (not in front of the barrier). The site operator is really very nice, which is why I try to write a fair review. Most of the pitches are "caravans" of permanent campers, sometimes in good condition, sometimes in less good condition. There is only a very small sanitary area. The shower (there is only one) is still very old-fashioned with a shower curtain. The showers have a pay system and despite the fact that they cost money, the shower interval is timed to seven seconds, which makes washing long hair almost impossible. We were able to pre-order bread rolls in the restaurant. Otherwise there are only small items in reception. There is no kiosk or anything like that. Washing up was impossible. There was no hot water as the boiler was probably broken. When asked, we were told that this often happens. No remedy could be found, so we boiled hot water in the caravan and had to carry it over, as it is difficult to flush with cold water. The passage to the small pond and playground is only accessible with a key. The playground was unfortunately closed during our stay. There is another meadow in the forest without sanitary facilities that can be used for groups. So the location is great, the site operator is very nice, but unfortunately we cannot recommend the site as it is more suitable for permanent campers.

"Pretty outdated - Unfortunately, not much has been invested in the campsite for some time. The staff are friendly and helpful. The biggest criticism is the opening hours of the snack bar, which do not adhere to the times stated. We were there at Easter (high season), are traveling with Womo, and then actually rely on the opening times that are on the net, because we do not like to cook in the Womo. is just stupid if you then stand there and get nothing to eat. It's ok for a one-night stopover.

"A proper place - We stayed at the campsite for a few days. Except for the very outdated sanitary facilities and too few showers, too few toilets, everything was good. The site manager is really very nice and accommodating. The place is clean and tidy.

Sie finden uns nur 5 Minuten von der Autobahn A1, Abfahrt Bramsche, entfernt, 20 km vor den Toren …Osnabrücks. Folgen Sie dort der Beschilderung Richtung Minden / Varusschlacht.
