Nice campsite
This is nice small campsite with lot of pitches in shade of old trees, clean facilities (but a bit old) and restaurant with national greek cuisine. We didn't try their food in this restaurant. Across the street there is a market for food provision, beach is 50m far from campsite. This beach is paradise... for windsurfing lovers. The posistion of Vasilliki village is great for visiting beaches in westcoast of the island. Campsite is a bit noisy because it is situated along main road, you will need ear plugs if you sleep in tent.

We were here at the beginning of September - few guests and very quiet. Friendly and nice people. Simple sanitary facilities but clean! Beach about 50 meters away with coarse gravel. Many tavernas and shopping facilities within walking distance.

Camping in the low season in Vassiliki is definitely recommended
The campsite is located in the immediate vicinity of the small town of Vassiliki. There is plenty of shade under the many palm trees and other trees. The pitches are large enough and well supplied with electricity. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean. There was always hot water at any time of... day or night. There is no mini market, but this is not a problem as there is a very good supermarket just across the road. The small taverna on site really does its best to cater for guests, even if the menu is of course limited. The beach is 50 meters from the campsite and can be described as average. WLAN at the campsite is free and easily accessible. We were there at the beginning of September and there were never more than 10 people on site. Of course, one or two things need to be renovated and repaired, but the operators really make an effort and are always very friendly and helpful.

Paradise for surfers
Slightly in need of renovation with lots of fun and good humor. The operators are very friendly and helpful, but there seems to be a lack of funds to get some things back in shape. Nevertheless, everyone tries very hard and we had the impression that all guests felt very comfortable. Minimarket is almost... non-existent - no wonder there is a huge supermarket right opposite the entrance which is open from 8am to 2pm (even on Sundays!!!) Excursions to Porto Katsiki and Egremni are possible by boat

The CP is located directly on the main road from this side is to be expected with road noise.ca.300 meters from the beach (bathing or surfing beach) away. The operators are anything but friendly and there is practically no mini market on site. The tavern (Resti) is also hardly visited. Sanitary clean,... always warm water. A very good supermarket is right in front of the CP. Restaurant can be reached in 5 minutes on the main road. The pitches are narrow, WoMo (WoWA) with awning is just about wide enough. Many surfers are at the place.two rear exits one to the surf beach and one to the bathing beach.chemical disposal available only gray water drainage is difficult you need a hose for it. There is no playground or play equipment for children, no internet and no other extras.
