Pitch with a wonderful view of the fjord. Very quiet during the week and busier at the weekend with permanent campers. Wonderful leisure facilities with something for everyone. In Germany, Italy, Croatia etc we always visit at least 4 star sites with every comfort. This site here can easily keep up. Sanitary facilities always super clean, good playgrounds for the children. Clean beach and a great pool. Nothing is missing.... Okay maybe a few more German-speaking guests possibly with children so that the children can communicate. The campsite has mainly Swedish and Norwegian guests. But otherwise the place is great. Built on a slope and mostly with a sea view. We were on pitch 181 and had a great view of the sea. The site is very central for day trips to Trollhättan, Smögen, Fjällbacka etc. Completely recommended by us for families with children. Oh yes, there are 2 access roads......be sure to take the one where the flags of the Hafsten Resort hang. At that time, there was more tree cover on this corner and no quarry directly above our pitch. Large boulders lie unsecured in the area. W-Lan did not work, although it was booked at a high price.... The campsite is not recommended for people with restricted mobility due to the terraced layout. Pitches around the upper service building are not recommended, as there is a constant buzzing (air conditioning, ventilation?) Be careful when approaching and leaving: There are alternative routes on the approx. 4 km long approach from the next larger road, but even then it gets tight with oncoming traffic. Many thanks to the friendly reception staff for their help in finding a caravan repair service (www.backamohusvagnscenter.se). The season is over in Sweden in October, so we could really enjoy the peace and quiet there. In summer it is certainly great for families with children, but now in the fall... the many leisure activities were deserted. And what else? Clean, well-kept sanitary facilities, a nice lounge and a large kitchen for guests. The swimming pool and especially the slide were just as popular with our children as the extensive playground and beach, both of which are very easy to keep an eye on from the pub/beer garden. Some of the pitches are terraced, so a little practice in maneuvering won't hurt. But you are rewarded with a fabulous view! Everything very clean, live music in the pub. Very nice location, although tourist pitches do not always have a view of the lake (occupied by permanent campers). Lovingly designed sanitary facilities in the upper area. Bar only open at weekends in the low season. Food offer on the site very manageable. Well suited for excursions to Fjällbacka, Strömstad, Smögen and Käringön. Many pitches have a great view - but you have to be careful if you are traveling with kids: The partially terraced pitches can... be dangerous - so if Muddi wants to go on vacation without really running every step behind the little ones - better choose a non-terraced pitch. Many pitches with fresh and waste water connections, electricity of course. The sanitary facilities are always clean, almost never overcrowded, even when fully occupied. Okay, we are late risers, no idea what it's like in the morning.... Two restaurants on site, mini golf and children's playgrounds (always full, so apparently good), beach and swimming jetty, open-air music on Sundays (only until 01:00). Complete peace and quiet is something else, but if you want that you have to drive deep into the woods. We had pre-booked and pre-paid very early and were able to choose a nice spot. Spontaneous visitors had to be satisfied with remote, cramped pitches. There is a supermarket nearby and a shopping center not much further away, so supplies are guaranteed for what the campsite's own store can't provide. The approach takes some getting used to, 4 - 5 km on a road just under 3 meters wide, but the departing teams take a different road (if they pay attention to the traffic signs!). The reception also speaks German and English, if you want. Yes, at registration, but suddenly no longer if you have special requests. We had booked a ferry from Gothenburg (90 km away) for check-in at 17:00, but when we asked to extend our stay beyond 12:00 all language skills were suddenly lost. Too bad, that spoiled the otherwise good impression. Perhaps the site should think about offering hourly pitches on the barely occupied "green meadow".Перевод автоматический.

Fantastically quiet location on a peninsula with a great view of the sea and the archipelago from the pitch (terraced pitch). Clean and beautiful beaches with shallow slopes and crystal clear water, where you can watch the many sea creatures from the... jetty. The sanitary facilities were super clean, but could be a bit tight when fully occupied. 4 minute showers cost SEK 5. Very nice camper kitchen with free dishwasher, also very clean. There are several beautiful hiking trails in the forest directly from the site, a dream for dogs! Great playgrounds and nice fitness equipment on the beach. You can rent kayaks and canoes and paddle very nicely around the islands.next shopping possibility approx. 3km, large, great shopping center 6km away, at the place only minimal offer.perfect with ACSI Card! Free PC at the reception.
