Good starting point for tours
We received a friendly welcome, the restaurant offered good food - but everything was a little too expensive,
but the place exists almost exclusively because of the tourists. Because our ferry didn't leave until the evening, we were allowed to stay free of charge until then.

A somewhat special campsite
At the large parking lot (starting point to Keraq) you are not allowed to stay overnight with a camper (despite a 24-hour ticket). Therefore "down" to Lysebotn. We did not regret it.
Quaint place with free choice of pitch (no shore power needed thanks to on-board electricity). We liked the reception... and dinner in the restaurant. Sanitary area clean despite high occupancy. The highlight of our stay were the base jumpers who celebrated their festival this weekend. Lots of helicopter flights but exciting jumps by the jumpers and landing right on the pitch between the Womos and tents.
It wasn't a relaxing stay but a real experience with lots of fun thanks to the base jumper community.

Worst campsite of our trip to Norway
The village of Lysebotn has a strange, oppressive atmosphere. Completely remote at the end of a long serpentine road and at the end of the Lysefjord.
The "charm" of the campsite matches this. I would describe the pitches for caravans and motorhomes as cheeky. The operator has obviously extended the adjacent... rubble dumping area.
Only the pitches for tents are quite nice and offer an impressive view of the mountain backdrop of the Lysefjord. However, the campsite has no access to the fjord. This is only possible via the ugly harbor pier of the village.
The reception is ok and so is the catering. The sanitary building was partly new and ok in summer 2020, but the toilets were no longer up to date.
Overall, we cannot recommend this campsite at all, at most for guests who have not found better accommodation after or before a visit to Kjerak and then only for one night at most.

Хороший кемпинг
Стоимость за ночь 260 nok. Кемпинг располагается около парома, который отправляется от Кьерага до Прекестулена. На территории располагаются места для палаток, домики и хостел/отель. Машину к месту палатки припарковать нельзя. Для машин есть бесплатная парковка. Для того чтобы довезти свои вещи до домика/палатки... имеются специальные тележки. На территори кемпинга имеется просторная кухня с небольшим количеством посуды и др. инвентаря. Плитки, микроволновая печь, чайник. Много туалетов и душевых кабин. Душ бесплатно. Все чисто, ново и красиво. Сушилок нет. При входе в кемпинг располагается кафе. Цены примерно 170-300 nok. Продают пиво, бургеры, картошку и прочее. Ресепшн как раз за стойкой этого кафе. Wi-fi бесплатный, но ловит только на территории кафе и рядом. Кемпинг находится в очень живописном месте рядом с водопадом и фьердом. Можно бесплатно рыбачить. По поводу парома, который идет до Прекестулена. Данный паром надо бронировать заранее и расписание у него специальное. Если что, по воскресениям паром не ходит. По моему мнению данный паром не обязателен, можно спокойно доехать по хорошей дороге до Ставангера и оттуда уже на паром до Прекестулена (который ходит каждые минут 20-30).

Great location, but ...
Good starting point for ferry trip across the Lysefjord. Kitchen in need of renovation. Stoves in very poor condition. Too few sanitary facilities and showers for the size of the site. Friendly staff. We only stayed here overnight if we wanted to take the ferry.

The worst and most expensive place of our Norway tour. During our stay, the following were broken: the electric stove (2 extra hotplates OK), a fridge, the hand dryer in the men's toilet, one ladies' and one men's shower and one of two washbasins in the men's area. The sanitary facilities were cleaned,... but there was probably a lack of regular cleaning. When I visited the toilet on day one, there was a dead mosquito stuck to the wall. On day two there were two mosquitoes...
