Right next to road no. 40 just 2 km after Flesberg (towards Kongsberg) is the small campsite which also has cabins for rent. At the time of our stay, parts of the site were still under construction and the wifi was just being installed. The owner somehow reminded us of a Viking who... has just settled down, very nice and funny. The small restaurant offers good local cuisine at reasonable prices and is very popular with the locals at lunchtime.
It is just under 30 km to Kongsberg, a little further on is the silver mine and a few more kilometers away is the famous stave church of Heddal. All worthwhile destinations.
