There is plenty of space for motorhomes and caravans of all lengths. The site is surrounded by fields, so you can often hear sheep or see horses from the neighboring riding stables. This makes the site very quiet.
Despite the size of the... campsite, it is not very far to the central wash house and the playground. As a family with a small child, we chose the campsite mainly because of the playground. With the cushion trampoline, the ropeway and the sandpit, it offered plenty of opportunities. The path to the mudflats was easy to manage by bike at 1 kilometer.

We were 4 adults, 2 teenage children and 1 dog. We received a very friendly, helpful, uncomplicated and flexible welcome from the new operator of this site. Thank you Markus!!! The briefing was professional,... pleasant and personal. The one or other difficulty (new camper) with the power supply was solved immediately and the defective cables brought along were immediately replaced free of charge, on loan. The wi-fi signal, which fluctuated due to the storm, was also rectified immediately....We received support at all times and sometimes didn't even need to ask or request it. Simply SUPER SERVICE!!! A big praise also to the cleaning staff of the sanitary facilities, not seen, but always everything top clean. The device for cleaning the toilet cassettes was excellent, I would have paid 10 euros to not have to clean this thing by hand, but for 1 euro ..... incredibly nice. When getting bread rolls, a short daily chat was always included if you wanted. Overall, there is certainly still some work to be done, such as repairing the water damage in the restaurant and replacing one or two electrical appliances, but Rome wasn't built in a day and the operator and his employees always found a respectable solution to problems or requests.
