    Expensive space in a fantastic location
    Beautiful location by the stream. Great starting point for hikes in Kerlingarfjöll. The sanitary facilities are now new and located in the former entrance area of the "resort". The showers are tidy, clean and have free hot water. A clear improvement on the previous years! The kitchen area is simple, has two hotplates and only cold water. Very expensive.

    Campers no longer welcome
    The campsite is to be converted into a "resort" in the long term - as a contact point for the more well-heeled guests. The tent pitch itself is nice, the infrastructure for camping guests (sanitary facilities, kitchen) is the worst of all the campsites we used in Iceland, but the price was the most expensive of all campsites in Iceland (2000 per adult, 1000 per child, regardless of age!!!).

    3400 ISK per night for two people with 1 tent. The sanitary facilities are clean, cleaned every day. The downside is the showers: two shower heads side by side, with only a trickle of water, which is cold! So if you get there on a day when you don't need a shower, that's fine. Otherwise it's invigorating!...
