Fantastic
A beautiful, quiet and well-kept place. We were all alone here. Why other campers don't find their way here is a mystery to us. In Germany the site would be full. Some of the pitches are right on the water. Each pitch has a power connection, so no long cables needed. Sanitary facilities are clean and of a good standard.

Great campsite on Lake Usma, boating, fishing, excursions
This campsite is located directly on Lake Usma and is connected to a hotel. The pitches are located directly on the beach of the lake. It was possible to use your own boat with a motor. It was also possible to hire one. Fishing was possible directly on the beach or from the boat. Otherwise, the peace... and quiet was good, even if the road and the occasional train were easy to hear.
The sanitary facilities were sufficient for us, as the campsite was not nearly full. Otherwise it seems a bit small.
The price-performance ratio seems reasonable.

Usma Kempings is a good stopover from Riga Bay to the west coast
Situated on Latvia's largest lake, which is also home to Latvia's sailing center. A large CP with spa and many cabins. The pitches are partly under trees, directly on the lake. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated and, as is so often the case in Latvia, a little too few (at least when the site... is full). The restaurant is very good. You can also have breakfast there. Nearest shopping facilities about 4 km away. The road and railroad line don't really bother you.

Very pleasant camping
The campsite is beautifully situated in the forest by a large lake. The pitches are on a spacious lawn, many of them right on the shore. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. If the water in the male and female showers is cold, you can shower in the adjoining spa. The sanitary facilities are... clean but not inviting. It is practical that the W-Lan router is attached directly to the kitchen. If you have to wait to wash up, you can surf the net right away. The taiga drum runs 3-4 times a day close to your ears, but is not disturbing. Otherwise the frogs croak in the pond next door. Just nature, very beautiful here.

Very nice location, but not very quiet!
Beautifully laid out site by the lake with plenty of pitches. Shady pitches too. Good sanitary facilities but rather few (very common in Latvia). Two roads and a railroad close by. Great lake for boating and swimming. Very busy at weekends (also common in Latvia)! Beautiful towns not in the immediate vicinity - but worth the longer drive.
