Large pitches, we had electricity, water and waste water - perfect! The solution with the garbage containers (a... little away from the parking spaces) was perfect. WLAN included and very good (where we were). Most of the pitches are equipped with water, electricity and waste water disposal. The sanitary facilities are modern and pico-Bello clean, no matter what time of day. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help. The swimming pool is ideal for both children and seniors. The campsite is highly recommended. Always very happy to return. The whole site is very well maintained and the green areas are beautifully laid out.
All the sanitary facilities are laid out differently and were cleaned regularly.
The beach is wide and offers space for all guests with and without... dogs.
The reservation and registration went without a hitch. The pitches are very large and level and each pitch is enclosed by hedges.
All the staff are very friendly and courteous.
There is a small supermarket which was quite empty at our time, as well as a bakery and other small stores. We ate in the restaurant once, the pizza was good and reasonably priced. The indoor area has more of a station hall character and probably a high noise level when fully occupied.
The swimming pool is very well maintained and nicely laid out. The village of Canet was no longer very busy when we were there and all the stalls on the beach were either gone or had been dismantled. The place reminded me more of Ballermann and the restaurants on the beach promenade were separated by a road and didn't look very appealing.
There are very nice cycle paths in the area to reach surrounding villages such as Saint Cyprien, Perpignan or Collioure.
The resort is rather noisy during the day as there are many families with children or adolescents on site due to the many activities on offer. In our time there were a lot of Swiss people with children on site.
The only disadvantage of this very nice campsite is the immediate surroundings. Pitch directly at the flushing and sanitary building received despite a different request booked for a fee. The town of Canet disappoints across the board. The promenade, hotels, houses and restaurants on the main beach are very outdated... Not to say run down... Our pitch was one of the smaller ones, but nice and level and very shady. Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience with the black slide. It is too steep for the depth of the pool. You hit the bottom of... the pool which is too rough. This results in minor to severe injuries. This slide is not suitable for children under the age of 8 and even then there is an increased risk of injury. The lifeguards also mentioned in passing that this happens frequently. Unfortunately, the reception staff were indifferent to our friendly, non-reproachful comment about this problem.
