"Campsite run with passion by the operator - We, an elderly couple, were looked after warmly and with humor by Simon the campsite owner throughout our stay. The sanitary facilities were always spotlessly clean (even when fully occupied). The food in the bistro was very good, from tarte flambée to Haslipfännli. We would love to come back.

"Familiar, very nice and clean campsite - Familiar, very nice and clean campsite. Meiringen can be reached on foot and Brienz or Interlaken by bike or with a short train ride. Nothing is missing here and the campsite is run by a courteous, humorous manager. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

"Great location, brilliant groundskeeper - A rather small, quiet family campsite. The site is characterized by its good location in the Bernese Oberland. From here you can easily reach the Hasliberg mountain railroads, the Aare Gorge and much more. The pitches are level with grass. The sanitary facilities are very clean. There is a path out the back directly from the pitch, which is ideal for dogs. The groundsman always ensures a good atmosphere and has a solution for everything. There is a playground, go-karts and a small swimming pool for children. We liked it very much and will definitely be back.

"Alpine camping, an insider tip - Very lovingly furnished small campsite in a practical location. Beautiful grass pitches. Surrounded by meadows with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Quiet, apart from the few military planes in the morning and evening. But you soon get used to them and the view makes up for it, as every site in the Bernese Oberland is affected. It definitely didn't bother us, but we'll mention it here anyway for the sake of objectivity. The owner couple are very nice and helpful.

"Feel-good factor: 150% - We were guests at the Alpencamping with Monika and Simon and were spoiled from A to Z: - Clean sanitary facilities - Beautiful pitches - Beizli with various menus - Friendly operators Despite longer consideration, no negative points can be found, it is as it should be: S-U-P-E-R!!!

AlpenCamping This 4-star (5-star in winter), family-run campsite is open all year round and is located in the heart of Switzerland, in the Haslital, in the middle of the Bernese Oberland. There are no limits to your activities: take advantage …of the wide range of hiking and sporting activities on offer or enjoy the sunny mountain scenery. We would be delighted to welcome you and to invite you to stay with us at the Alpencamping. Our holiday region with 316 mountains, 37 glaciers, 19 waterfalls, 158 lakes and 14 gorges (Sherlock Holmes' crash site) is the ideal starting point for numerous excursions on foot, by bike, train, mountain railways, car, post bus and the boats of Lake Brienz and Lake Lucerne. The sanitary facilities are new and modern. Hot water, ski bus in winter, ski boot dryer and Friday evening sauna accessible free of charge!

The Haslital in the Bernese Oberland is located in the heart of Switzerland, nestled between the famous alpine passes Brünig - Grimsel - Susten. From Basel and Zurich: On the freeway, drive towards Lucerne, where you turn onto the A8 …towards Interlaken. From Sarnen the cantonal road leads you over the Brünig Pass. You will reach your destination in about 30 minutes from Sarnen.
