- Jeff S.September 2024Pozitivno- Large even pitch (Luxury Category) - WiFi works well - good restaurant - lots of options for things to do - clean & modern - small dog agility parkNegativno- very rugged, uneven and small pitches - no dog poo bags on the entire site! - no real place to walk the dogs and no dog run areaNice CampsiteNice Campsite with everything one needs!
very friendly concession staff.
in spite of not really having anything for dogs (and in spite of many dog waste containers - but NO dog waste bags at all!), we would recommend this site and even plan to come back another time. - Matthias Z.May 2024PozitivnoLocationNegativnoMuch too bigHuge campsite, somewhat confusingHuge campsite on a headland and therefore in a very good location. A bit far out to explore the town on foot, but there is a bus in front of the campsite. The wash houses are dated and for the price you could expect a bit more.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Max M.May 2023Pozitivno- the proximity to the city - the nature of the sea/coast - the number of guests out of season - many excursion destinationsNegativno- few hot water showers/ washing up - little toilet paper - no electricity/ water/ waste water on site - no price list on site and on the netIstria 2023 over Lord's Day-PentecostWe have decided to explore the Istrian peninsula. We had already traveled a lot in central and southern Dalmatia. Now it was time for the coast of Istria near Pula. The proximity of the camp site to the town was a decisive factor in our search. We spent 10 nights here and enjoyed the peace and quiet... of the campsite in the low season. We loved the green landscape and the exciting coastline.
You don't have to book out of season - there are over 700 pitches for around 2500 people. Whether you want to experience this in midsummer...... It's easy to get around by bike and explore the town and nature. There are plenty of designated cycle routes. Yes, and now the real problem - the euro has arrived... Whether at the bakery or in the restaurant - everyone has to earn money here. But the pastries are super fresh from the Plodine and the ice cream doesn't have to cost €2 a scoop. Please watch out for the tourist traps - for example, the local cucumbers on offer at the fresh produce market!!! only cost 5 euros ... oh oh
So now we wish you all a great vacation and lots of fun collecting experiences.Samodejno prevedeno. - Marie S.September 2022PozitivnoTop location very close to the sea Clean, beautiful mobile homes with sea view Very friendly and helpful staff Daily serviceNegativno-Super locationWe discovered Camping Stoja a few years ago and have always been impressed by its great location. The mobile homes are located very close to the sea and are completely new. They are also very well equipped. If there is anything missing, you can always ask the friendly staff. The cleaners are extremely... nice and come by every day, so you can't complain about the cleanliness.
The rest of the facilities at the campsite are also clean and the beach is a dream.Samodejno prevedeno. - A. - Benjamin A.July 2022Pozitivno- Gentle pitch construction - Plenty of shade - Good infrastructure - Ideal for swimming, snorkeling and divingNegativno- Sanitary in need of renovation - Sanitary long waiting times for shower or WC at peak times ( e.g.: 17-19 o'clock - WLAN not usable at peak timesCampsite in a beautiful location. The campsite has a beautiful landscaped beach which is ideal for swimming. There is even an extra dog beach. The rocky beach is ideal for snorkeling and diving. In front of the campsite there are restaurants, bakeries, a bus stop, beach bar and karyak tours. Furthermore, it is only 600m to MaxCity.
...
The kiosk/shop on the campsite is relatively expensive and the staff is a bit overwhelmed at peak times. But the most important groceries are available.
The sanitary facilities were relatively clean. Showers were ok (some shelves broken, shower heads not all fixable. One major shortcoming: very long shower waiting times at peak times! The toilets were also "only" ok (not always clean, old inventory, long waiting times at peak times. The toilets were only cleaned by the staff hosing them down. This made it very wet in the toilets too! (Don't drop your pants on the floor) and don't slip! All in all, the sanitary facilities could do with a refresh.
The sinks were in good condition. Unfortunately, the basins for the laundry were also used as sinks, which is why they were often stained with food residue.
Pitch (general)
There were many nice shady pitches. Electricity was available, sometimes a little further away. There was a normal Schuko plug at our stable pitch. (Others still needed a camping plug)
Since there are many conifers, you should expect resin.
The campsite is a very nice, well-kept facility. However, a bit outdated. However, the mobile homes are all new with completely new facilities and very well maintained.
The reception staff and the cleaning staff are very friendly and courteous.
WLAN is free but completely unusable at peak times.Samodejno prevedeno. - Werner H.July 2022PozitivnoThe location is great.NegativnoThe sanitary facilities.Camping like in Tito's time. (Almost)The campsite is full in high season. And there is plenty of space. There are 5 showers per sanitary island. There are about 90 women/men per shower. Reminded me a lot of my time in the army. The same with the toilets. In addition, the "occupied" indicators on all the toilet doors are broken. Which leads... to a lot of shaking at the doors. Electricity is only available about every 20m. My 10m extension cable was too short. Also on the Premium pitches. Premium and Superior only refer to the location. For safety reasons, you can only access the sea in certain places. Our pitch was intended more for caravans/mobile homes as it was rather sloping. In general, everything looked very old and worn. The restaurant was good, but looked like it was from the 80s. Plus wear and tear. I had also unfortunately missed the fact that it was a dog park. Most people pick up after their dogs, but I find it strange when I'm sitting in front of my tent and someone lets their dog poop on my pitch 2 meters away, where 10 minutes later my 4-year-old is walking around barefoot.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Jenny S.June 2022PozitivnoGreat pitches, clean sanitary facilities, natural surroundings, dog-friendlyNegativnoLoud music, fireworks and disco at the weekendPerfectReally a beautiful, natural site with relaxed people, clean sanitary facilities and lots of good restaurants nearby.
The only thing that really bothered us was the disco, fireworks and parties with loud music at the campsite at weekends. It's probably a matter of taste.Samodejno prevedeno. - Jörg S.September 2021PozitivnoVery clean and all staff very friendly / accommodating.Negativnono realThe last "summer days"All hell breaks loose here in the high season. you have to like that. - Udo K.September 2021PozitivnoClose to the city (bus connection), nearby beachesNegativno- little safe access to the sea - Lack of showers on the beach - Main paths are in need of renovationCampsite close to the city and nature with many possibilitiesLocated on the outskirts of Pula on a beautiful peninsula. The approach through the town is a bit "bumpy", but easy to find. Large site, with a choice of pitches, something for everyone. At the beginning of Sept. the site was well occupied (there were no special pitches near the beach), but we found... one fairly quickly and had a nice, central pitch that met our requirements. The sanitary buildings were exemplary clean, the main paths are in need of renovation, and there are hardly any beaches or secured access points as we know them from other sites. However, the very rocky shore area offers several opportunities to get into the water easily. Friendly staff, shopping facilities in the camp and the immediate vicinity, and the proximity to the town are to be emphasized.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Barbara S.September 2021Pozitivnoour pitch in the "free" area with a view of the sunrise and sunset * close to the cityNegativnoYou really have to be lucky to find the right spot ...Most beautiful campsite of our tripFirst of all, it is really important to find the "right" pitch on this campsite. In my opinion, most of the pitches are "okay", some of them very sloping, some of them filled with music in the evening. If I hadn't happened to get a tip from a departing guest at check-in to look in the "free" (non-parceled)... zone, we would never have got the dream pitch we now had. If you don't mind walking/driving a long way to the sanitary block or supermarket, if you love nature and peace and quiet, the "free" zone is perfect. However, you have to do a lot of circling to get to the pitches and you need some equipment or wedges to stand up straight. Once you've managed that, you'll be rewarded with a wonderful view of the sea and fantastic peace and quiet. And occasionally even a leaping dolphin.
What else is there to say: the sanitary facilities are not the most modern, but they are very clean and the showers have nice warm water. The store is ok, but there is a shopping mall with a "Plodine" market not far outside, which is much better stocked. With our e-scooters we were in Pula City within 20 minutes. There is also a bus that goes directly from the campsite to the city center.Samodejno prevedeno. - Manfred H.July 2020PozitivnoVery good food in the restaurant and very friendly waiters.NegativnoNoneVery good campsite.Very friendly receptionists. Premium and superior pitches right next to the beach only separated by a fence, very quiet campsite.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Bo O.September 2019PozitivnoCity councils with bus connection nice deutsc speaking staff shady suberer placeNegativnoWe found nothing for some maybe the topography of the placeFriendly shady square with bus connection to the cityWe were "forced" to stay in a mobile home at the end of September because the camper was in the workshop. Although the site is only open for another week, the restaurant and supermarket are still fully open. The sanitary facilities are not brand new but very clean. Many pitches (more than half) are sloping, the site is on a promontory on a hill. If we are stranded in Pula again, we would like to stay here again.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Alfons W.August 2019PozitivnoLocationNegativnoSanitary situationolder campground at nice locationNice campground with great sunset views, sanitary equipment oid and would need repair.
- Bärbel M.July 2019PozitivnoProximity to the city Different types of beaches Cleanliness of bathroomsNegativnoI can't think of anythingCamping by the sea near PulaWe stayed with our camper in early July 2019 for a week at this campground. We had booked a sea view pitch already in February (no deposit) but there would be no need. There were plenty of free pitches. The campsite is located on a peninsula southwest of chula (approx. 3 km). Therefore there are beaches... galore. Both rocky and with gravel. Ideal for relaxation but also for those who want to go diving. But the town also offers a number of monuments to visit. You can reach the town by bus, which leaves in front of the campsite every 20 minutes and up to the center in a few minutes. There is a store in the campground that has everything you need but prices are high. Alternatively, about 1 km away is a shopping center with a large supermarket. The sanitary facilities are sufficient but obviously with the full house you will have to queue a bit to take a shower. Cleanliness however is constant from morning to night so the toilets are very clean.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Ivan V.June 2019PozitivnoClear water, great for swimming, close to the cityNegativnoOlder sanitary facilities, or facilities in general.Good campsite with proximity to PulaReasonable price for Istria, large campsite with lots of natural shade, sea view, etc. Clear water, entry a little difficult, at least in our part of the campsite (don't forget your bathing shoes!), but immediately deep enough and excellent for swimming. cozy bar. Sanitary facilities and some of the... whole site are a bit dated but clean. Even in the preseason, cleaning staff were constantly available at peak times. Proximity to Pula is of course ideal and was also a reason for our stay.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Frank M.June 2019PozitivnoProximity to PulaNegativnoPitches are rarely level2 nights in JuneWe chose this campsite on our trip through Croatia because of its proximity to Pula. The town is easy to reach by pedelec (10-15 minutes). The campsite is probably located on a former military site. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but perfectly adequate. There is also constant cleaning. The campsite offers different types of pitches (by the bay, without shade, with shade.) We would visit the campsite again for another visit to Pula.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Raimund J.June 2019PozitivnoGood locationNegativnoExtremely loud disco musicExtremely loudEven in June, the southern half of Disko on the other side of the bay is blasted with loud music until 3 am. Some guests are also very loud. This is not controlled.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Andrea H.June 2019PozitivnoBeautiful nature. Peace and quiet. Close to the cityNegativnoWater pollutionBeautiful square is becoming increasingly pollutedWe love the tranquillity, the location and the atmosphere of this place and have been coming here for several years. Unfortunately, we sadly notice that ships dump their waste water and garbage in the sea, which then washes up here and makes swimming impossible. Last year we couldn't get into the water... for almost a week because of this. This year, disgusting garbage and foam arrived almost every day of our vacation. I hope that someone will finally put a stop to this and protect the environment. It's such a shame.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Josef P.April 2019PozitivnoWell located place for a city tourNegativnoSanitary buildings are no longer up to dateThe place is ideal for a Pula city visitThe campsite is beautifully situated on a peninsula. Swim with caution, it is a natural beach. The sanitary facilities are no longer up to date for the price charged for an overnight stay. The showers are outside and the toilets inside the sanitary building. The washbasins are open and can be seen from all sides. There is no water tap anywhere on the site except in the sanitary buildings.Samodejno prevedeno.
