Stockholm is very easy to reach by train. The pitches are large enough, but only about half of them have electricity.
There is a small store and a restaurant, but nothing special.
Dogs are allowed.
Adjacent to the... site is a beautiful forest with a lake. It's great for walking and swimming, of course.

- Johannes V.August 2019Pozitivno- Good and direct public transport connections to Stockholm - bathing beach - hotplates - Covered seating area + loungeNegativno- Few showers and toiletsBeautiful campsite near StockholmThe campsite is only about 10 minutes from a metro stop (Bredäng) and can be reached in about 15 minutes on line 13 towards Norsborg, e.g. from Stockholm Södra (Mariatorget) or T-Centralen. There is also a public and free beach with a swimming island and diving platform about 200 meters away. There are... covered seating areas by the sinks, as well as hotplates, microwaves and ovens. There is also a small lounge, a restaurant and a small grocery and souvenir store. The only drawback is that there are only two showers (at least for the men) and two sit-down toilets in the main wash house.Samodejno prevedeno.

The pitch is used to the last centimeter, we were extremely crammed between other large caravans. The sanitary facilities were old, cramped, unclean and completely undersized, as was the dishwashing house. Location of the place is nice, after a short walk you are at the beautiful bay on the train to the city it takes about 45 minutes (including 800m walk).Samodejno prevedeno.

Typical "city campsite" with basic sanitary facilities and adequate cleanliness. Friendly and helpful staff. Small grocery store with a limited range on site. Thai snack bar on site quite good but expensive. From the CP you... walk about 15 minutes to the subway station and from there it is about 20 minutes to the city center. A. B.August 2018Pozitivno+ Location (700 m to the subway)Negativno- Reservation recommended in high seasonIdeal for StockholmBredäng Camping is an ideal starting point for exploring Stockholm. The nearest subway station is approx. 700 m from the campsite and can be reached in approx. 10 minutes on foot. Line 13 takes you to the city center in about 20 minutes and runs every 10 minutes. We had booked our 3 days in advance,... which turned out to be sensible in hindsight as the site was fully booked from late afternoon. The pitches were large enough, but mostly laid out with grass paving stones. There is a Thai snack bar and a small supermarket on the site where you can get the essentials. The nearest supermarket is right next to the subway station. Toilets and showers were acceptable and always clean. A visit to the lido Mälarhöjdsbadet 350 meters away is worthwhile, we were positively surprised by the beautiful location. It was pleasantly quiet at night despite being a big city campsite. A suburban train goes directly into the city every 13 minutes (buy a Stockholm card). The campsite itself is very quiet. If you want to swim, it's a 5-minute walk to the beach with wonderfully clear water. There is a Thai restaurant on... the campsite with delicious food. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean. - Annett M.July 2018PozitivnoGood city connectionsNegativnoquestionable managementWould it be better to book in advance?Unfortunately, we are very disappointed with this place. We have been traveling for almost 3 weeks now and have never felt as much frustration as here. Perhaps it was our mistake not to arrive here until around 8pm, but due to our ferry connection it was not possible to arrive earlier. The first frustration... arose when we checked in, only pitches without electricity, we were told to ask again the next morning, but this was also unsuccessful although there were free connections in the immediate vicinity. The search for pitches continued. All the available pitches were not parceled out. That's not really a problem, unless it's as selfish as here - first come, first served. The sanitary facilities are also quite scarce, so there can be waiting times in the showers. It's a shame that more comfort is not offered at this site, which is close to the city and really well located (subway about 10 minutes' walk away). At the price charged (€32.50), you might actually expect that. Conclusion: ok for exploring Stockholm, for longer stays it is essential to book in advance to at least be sure of getting a power connection.Samodejno prevedeno.

The S-Bahn station is 700 meters away, Stockholm is very easy to visit by S-Bahn. There is a supermarket directly opposite the S-Bahn station, which still offers good prices by Swedish standards. However, the site does not invite you to stay longer than a visit to Stockholm. The sanitary facilities are a bit older, but still clean. The staff are very friendly and courteous. As the kiosk only opened in the afternoon, we got our sandwiches from the subway station 700m away. However, the opening times may have something to do with the fact that we were there... out of season. We did not use the Asian restaurant. Therefore, we can only rate this place to a very limited extent. The showers in one of the sanitary blocks had no doors. Otherwise we were very satisfied. The friendly, English-speaking staff at reception sent us to the site to choose a pitch. We were able to spread out properly. The site is close to the outdoor pool, a mini golf course and the subway station. Tip for visitors to Stockholm, buy a day ticket and use the boat at the harbor (line 80). Then you have a 2 hour "free" harbor tour. The sanitary facilities were OK and clean. As it is a site on the edge of town, you have to expect some noise. But that wasn't a problem for us. Some of the pitches are small and caravans/motorhomes stand close together.A good choice for a visit to Stockholm, but nothing more.We stayed there for five nights and found the place quite OK (see reviews). The best thing about it is the peace and quiet on the edge of the big city and yet you can be at the subway in 10 minutes and in the city center of Stockholm in another 25 minutes. The seaside resort on Lake Mälaren should also... be mentioned positively. It's just a 5-10 minute walk away and when the weather is nice you can go swimming here. There is also a landing stage for the Strömma Line boats to Drottningholm or Stockholm, but only 2 or 3 times a day.Samodejno prevedeno.

When we arrived, we were lucky to get the last pitch with electricity. So you shouldn't arrive too late. Otherwise, the pitch is perfectly adequate if you're spending the whole day in Stockholm anyway. The site is also well connected to the nearest... subway station, Bredang! If you have your bikes with you, you can easily cycle the short distance. One evening we made our way to the lake. It does go down quite steeply here.Samodejno prevedeno.
