- Konrad W.July 2019The worst I have ever seen25 € per night. Dirty water cannot be disposed of, WLAN is a foreign word and the sanitary facilities were built sometime in the 70's and have only been used since then. That's really cheeky. If we hadn't been so tired, we wouldn't have stayed.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Hartmut S.July 2018Pozitivnoshort distance to the ferry portNegativnoSanitary (small wooden house) not so great3 km to the ferry port in NewhavenSimple, quiet site, some permanent campers and many tents. Location directly behind the dyke, large wide pebble beach, beautiful sunset. After a 5 km walk you come to the cliffs and the train line nearby (you can't hear it at night) to visit Brighton. Early in the morning we took the ferry (when leaving the harbor you can take very nice pictures of the cliffs from the deck) to Dieppe/France.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Bernhard K.September 2017PozitivnoThe location.NegativnoNo serious disadvantages.Simple place with a beautiful location on the coastWe spent 2 nights here to see Brighton. Train station 5 minutes from the campsite. Train ride to Brighton 30 minutes. The place is kept simple. Wooden hut with very simple. Sanitary facilities. These were clean. The location right by the sea is great.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Walter C.July 2017PozitivnoGood beach location.NegativnoNone.Neat place on a huge coarse gravel beachMedium-sized campsite on the western edge of Seaford with a few permanent campers and approx. 40 tourist pitches, right by the sea, separated only by the dyke. Kilometers of shingle beach stretching from Seaford to Newhaven. There is also a continuous promenade. Level pitches, all with parents. Older... sanitary container, very small shower cubicles without shelves. Functionally everything o.k. and clean. No V+E for camper vans. 25 £ all incl. We stayed here for 3 nights and visited the "Seven Sisters" at the other end of Seaford and Newhaven. We were disappointed with Newhaven.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Jürg B.June 2017PozitivnoHERE YOU FEEL WELCOMELAST PLACE IN FRONT OF FERRY TERMINAL TO FRANCEWe had already been to this site in 2014 and had good memories. The site is a little off the main road between Newhaven and Seaford, easy to reach, very friendly site managers. When we arrived on a beautiful, warm weekend, the campsite was "full", but they looked for a solution and we were able to occupy... a large pitch without electricity in front of the tent meadow for two nights. Payment is in cash only, no credit cards. The site is well-kept and clean, with several permanent campers in the middle. The sanitary building is well maintained, showers/WC in good condition, always clean. Direct access to the beach from the campsite. The Seaford - Newhaven train line runs past the campsite, but hardly bothers you. To the center of Seaford approx. 20 min. on foot, there are some stores, ATM; there are two large supermarkets in Newhaven, approx. 5 KM. To the ferry port Newhaven - Dieppe approx. 6 KM, ferry can be booked at short notice. If you still have free time, it is worth taking a trip to the surrounding area, e.g. to the coast of Eastbourne + Brighton or a little further north to Lewes.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Anja h.June 2016PozitivnoConveniently located between Brighton and Beachy HeadNegativnoa little too loud due to the train - but quieter in the middle of the nightGood for 1-2 nightsA suitable campsite if you want to make a detour to Brighton or Beachy Head. We were traveling with the tent - large tent meadows, car can be parked right next to it. Friendly people, sanitary facilities simple but clean. the price in June 2016 20 pounds / night completely. The site is located between... the Seaford railroad line and the pebble beach. The train runs regularly every half hour. So good base camp but relatively noisy and quiet. Dog friendly. You can walk right down the back of the site into the fields or to the beach (promenade).Samodejno prevedeno.
