- Andrea E.April 2024PozitivnoPlace on the Satva very nice also the proximity to the center of Arco is perfect!NegativnoThe sanitary facilities are quite old but clean!!! 😀Campsite 👍 better with WLAN!!!The campsite is very nice and is easily accessible on foot from the center of Arco. The sanitary facilities are old but clean! The disadvantage, however, for today's time 2024 WLAN should be received from every pitch! After all, they advertise with the free WLAN!!!! Around our Sellplatz there was no WLAN reception! Too bad!!!!Samodejno prevedeno.
- Christian L.August 2022PozitivnoPeace and quiet, beautiful pitches, close to cycling, hiking and climbing routesNegativno./.Nice quiet placeWe've been here what feels like 20 times. The site is great, natural pitches, sometimes sloping, sometimes crosswise, that's how it should be. The wash house is a bit old, but always clean. Great atmosphere next to mountains and river. We always enjoy coming here!Samodejno prevedeno.
- Maja B.May 2019PozitivnoClimbing spot store Close to townNegativnoSanitary facilities need to be cleaned more thoroughly.Climbing EldoradoThe perfect campsite for climbers. Some walls are within walking distance. The site is beautifully situated by the river. You can also get to the town quickly. Helpful staff. In the store you get a wide range of food and other things. We will definitely be back!Samodejno prevedeno.
- Alexandra S.July 2018PozitivnoOverall impression of the campsite is pleasant and friendly. Clean and beautifully situated.NegativnoAs is often the case in Italy, no toilet seats :-) but toilet paper :-)Great lively campsite in an amazing locationWe were passing through with our child (8) and caravan and immediately extended our stay by a day because we liked it so much. The location is beautiful and especially great for hikers and sports enthusiasts. On one side the mountains, on the other a mountain stream where children can play. You can easily... walk to Arco, a very pretty little town, where you can eat and stroll in the evening. The atmosphere is characterized by tolerant people, many athletes, but also "normal" tourists. The pitches are not free, but there are no specific rules and there is plenty of space. The sanitary facilities are one older building and one new one. Sufficient toilets and above all everything is separated from each other. Despite Italy, there was toilet paper :-) . It was clean, friendly reception. We liked the tennis court and the sports facilities, all not new but quite functional. We will stay a few days longer next year!Samodejno prevedeno.
- Guntram H.August 2017PozitivnoIdeal location - for a stroll through the city as well as for climbing and cycling tours.NegativnoCleanliness of the sanitary facilitiesIdeal location! Quality degrades!August 2017: We have been to this campsite several times and unfortunately have to realize that nothing is being done in the sanitary area and therefore the quality is clearly deteriorating. For example, there are not even urinals for men in the main sanitary building and they "splash around" in the... sitting toilets. You can well imagine what it looks like then. The cleaning zeal of the staff is also not very pronounced. The pitch itself with its tall, shady trees is a good one. The pitches are spacious and there is an electricity connection for each plot. However, you first have to find the unloading and supply station for motorhomes and once you have done that, you have to be very clever to drive in and out. As the site is not exactly cheap, it would probably be time to spend some money on renovation and refurbishment after many years.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Marco H.July 2017PozitivnoGreat locationNegativnoExpensive, very small pitches, inadequate cleaning of sanitary facilitiesGreat location, overcrowded and deficits in the sanitary area, expensiveWe stayed for 12 days on this site, which is in a great location, about 7 km from Lake Garda, directly on the River Sarca. The reception staff speak Italian and English as well as very good German. You can choose your pitch on arrival. The pitches themselves are very, very small. A small caravan with... an awning, then it gets cramped and you have to watch where you park your car. Monte Colodri with its via ferrata is right on the doorstep. This place is predestined for climbers and mountain bikers. You can also see this from the guests at the campsite with their equipment and camper vans. We were at the campsite in midsummer. It was naturally overcrowded, but still not too loud. I see a big deficit in the sanitary facilities. The two sanitary buildings were old, the showers very small and, above all, the toilets were often not clean. The operator needs to react to the number of guests and send the cleaning staff through more often when the campsite is full and not just in the morning and evening. It should also be mentioned that there were neither soap dispensers nor an opportunity to dry hands in the toilets. There were also no toilet seats in one of the sanitary buildings. This may not bother some people, but it does bother me. Apart from that, there is a well-stocked small supermarket on site with fairly moderate prices. A little tip for anyone who finds the heat too much in summer: the adjacent Sarca is a wonderful place to cool off. There are also plenty of opportunities for excursions. The whole region offers an abundance and density that you are unlikely to find anywhere else. All in all, a site that offers great opportunities and has huge potential, but is unfortunately far too expensive, the sanitary facilities are not cleaned often enough and the pitches are unfortunately very, very small. Certainly a good choice for active tent campers who are out mountain biking or climbing during the day. Those seeking peace and quiet with somewhat higher standards of cleanliness (especially in the sanitary facilities) and a larger space requirement should perhaps choose a different pitch.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Volker M.June 2017PozitivnoLocation, active vacationNegativnoOld sanitary facilities Small pitches but still okVery well located with lots of sports facilitiesIdeal for active vacations, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, swimming, water sports, etc. The pool is huge but unfortunately not heated, in June water temperature of 20 degrees. Sanitary somewhat older, cleaned only once in the morning, no toilet seats, lukewarm shower.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Andrea M.March 2017PozitivnoProximity to ArcoNegativnoShower area not optimalEverything ok so farWe were at Campeggio Arco in mid-March with a tent. Only a small area of the campsite was accessible. You could choose your pitch, and there was more than enough of it. The ground was relatively hardened, so steel pegs would have been useful. This is probably not the case in the other areas, which are... completely overgrown with grass. The sanitary facilities were clean and the shower area was even heated. The only downside was the showers themselves. Due to the lack of a partition to the dressing area, the latter inevitably gets wet too. On the one hand, this leads to all the other areas getting dirty if not everyone takes the trouble to wipe the floor with their towel. Clothes and the like also get wet quickly. With this in mind, I can imagine that cleanliness quickly suffers when it gets busier. The old town of Arco can be reached in a quarter to half an hour, depending on how fast you walk. Otherwise... various climbing opportunities are within walking distance.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Elisabeth B.November 2016PozitivnoQuiet locationNegativnomoldy showersGood campsiteAt the end of October and beginning of November 2016, only a small part of the pitch was open when we arrived, with free choice of pitches. As the demand in the following days was enormous, other pitches were also made available. The location of the campsite was ideal for us, away from the hustle and... bustle of Lake Garda and yet relatively central. Arco is easy to get to on foot, Lake Garda is quicker by bike than by car (traffic jams). The sanitary facilities are not so nice. They are reasonably clean but unappetizing due to the mould on the tiles and in the joints. The supermarket is very well stocked, especially many different types of fresh bread and pastries for breakfast.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Peter G.March 2016PozitivnoCentrally located and not too crowded.Negativnotoo expensiveCentrally located place for climbersVery conveniently located, especially for climbers (directly on the Colodri). A well-developed network of cycle and mountain bike trails also starts directly at the campsite. The town center of Arco is within easy walking distance. Lake Garda (Riva, Torbole) can be easily reached by bike. The pitches... are large enough. We had free choice of pitch. The new sanitary building is ok. It was cleaned twice a day. The old sanitary facilities were also always clean. The missing toilet seats in the old building are to be criticized. The small market on the site had a sufficient range of products. There were plenty of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The staff were always friendly. WLAN was available on every pitch (for a fee, 10 hours for €5). There are a lot of youth groups on the campsite, which sometimes makes it quite noisy. I found the overnight price at Easter too expensive (€35.00 for 2 people per night). It was not possible to make use of all the inclusive services, such as the outdoor pool or guided hikes (pool closed, climbing wall closed, etc.). The Colodri-KS was also closed due to construction work (nobody could say for how long).Samodejno prevedeno.
- Florian R.August 2015PozitivnoGood location, the group site is separated a butNegativnocrowded, expensive, little room.OK Campsite but to big to earn moregot a 1/2 place on a side part which is normally for groups. So I was a bit off the mainstream and had it fairly quiet. In the inner part of the campsite it is pretty crowded. Clean, showers OK but not great - warm water takes a while. Relatively speaking fairly expensive.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Eldezento M.August 2015PozitivnoBeautiful location, rarely fully booked even in high season. Washrooms and toilets completely separateSquare with many sports facilitiesThe site is mainly frequented by climbers and mountain bikers, but is also an alternative to the overcrowded sites on Lake Garda. Most of the pitches have sufficient shade. 2 large, clean sanitary buildings, free hot water. There is a swimming pool right next to the campsite with a compulsory swimming... cap, and you can also swim in the adjacent river, although there is a fish farm a few kilometers upstream. About 10 minutes' walk from the town center. A cycle path leads to Lake Garda.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Florian G.August 2014PozitivnoLarge shady spacesNegativnoSanitary facilities are in need of improvementPrice-performance ratio is not rightQuite a large site with large pitches. Firmly in the hands of climbers and cyclists. Food supply on site is good. Swimming pool is with swimming cap obligation (!!!) Toilets are without toilet paper and partly without toilet seat. We only found out by chance from other campers that there is a guest card,... the "trentino Card", which offers many advantages. None of this was mentioned when we "checked in". Conclusion: too expensive for the service offeredSamodejno prevedeno.
- Helmut M.October 2010In the NS, the main part was closed so that it could recover. The smaller part is then overcrowded with tents and camper vans. The tent meadow is empty. The site belongs to the municipality and has an eco-label, but there is no chemical toilet in the new sanitary block. Where do the campers pour it? In a gully next to it. - The chemical toilet is in the closed part of the site and can be used. That was the answer from reception.Samodejno prevedeno.
