- Paul S.March 2023PozitivnoBeen there 15 times. beautiful well-kept placeNegativnoas far as the space is concerned nobeautiful place... but....I've never been ripped off like this before.
I had 2 reservations (2021 + 2023) with down payments of €200 and €100 due to the pandemic. I was deducted € 40,- reservation fee each time, so € 80,- without crediting. I would have accepted 1 x 40,-€. no willingness to negotiate.
That would never have happened with the former owner Alfredo.
It was my last stay there!Samodejno prevedeno. - Klaus E.May 2018PozitivnoPrice and performance fits, sanitary facilities very good, close to the city great, very friendly staffNegativnoPlaces on the beach are relatively smallCan be recommended without hesitationWe were, 2 adults with dog, in the Whitsun vacation 2018 on the place. Our pitch was right on the beach. These pitches are a bit small and if there is still a lot of hustle and bustle on the beach in the evening, it can get louder. The pitches at the back are pleasantly quiet and also larger. The sanitary... facilities were cleaned several times a day. It was super neat, clean and modern. We had breakfast in the morning in the small but nice restaurant (12 euros per person) but it was plentiful and the staff were very friendly. The store at the campsite has a small assortment, but sufficient. Fresh rolls, bread, etc. available every day. It took us about 15 minutes to walk to the center of Cannobio. There is also a supermarket and of course the old town with its beautiful alleyways and small stores. A trip to one of the alternating markets is a must. You shouldn't go on bike tours on the road, everything is very narrow and not entirely safe due to the traffic.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Elke H.September 2017PozitivnoClose to the city, own beachNegativnoSome very small pitches without drainage and water connectionA beautiful little square near the cityWe felt very comfortable here. A nice clean place with its own beach. Cannobio with its beautiful old town and the promenade with its many restaurants can be reached on foot in 15 minutes.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Monika B.September 2017PozitivnoDirectly on Lake Maggiore, Romanesque village nearby, on the square there is a very small store and seating for a coffee.NegativnoWLAN for an extra charge. One of the best tent vacationsWe were super surprised by the cleanliness and the great place, which is also cozy due to the hedges. A pebble beach in the immediate vicinity and a beautiful old town 5 minutes away. It's easy to leave the car parked.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Andreas J.June 2017PozitivnoVery well maintained, directly on the lakeNegativnoQuite small pitchesSimply very goodI can only agree with Norbert -855. I really can't understand why this campsite only has two stars. The site is right on the lake. There is a slipway for boats. The pitch and sanitary facilities are well-maintained and clean. Short walk to the lively tourist town of Cannobio. The only disadvantages are... the relatively small pitches and sometimes narrow paths. Therefore, not necessarily suitable for long teams and large boats. Attention dog owners. Dogs are not allowed on the campsite in high season. There is a small store on site where you can buy bread rolls and other small items. A supermarket is within walking distance. There is no restaurant on site, but that doesn't matter, there are more than enough alternatives in the village. I can also recommend the gourmet restaurant at the neighboring campsite. We can only recommend the campsite without reservation.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Thomas R.May 2017PozitivnoVery well-kept and clean, great location directly on the lake, very friendly, good price/performance ratioBeautiful little paradiseShortly before Whitsun 2017, we drove up without a reservation. We were lucky, we got a nice, sufficiently large pitch. Very friendly, German-speaking reception. The pitch is cozy, clearly laid out, large, beautifully maintained and laid out. If you can't get to your pitch on your own, you are helped... immediately. It can be tight for large vehicles, but it's doable. A few steps down and you are already at the lake with a very clean, coarse pebble beach. Cannobio can be reached on foot. Several hikes and bike tours are possible directly from the campsite. The campsite and sanitary facilities were very clean during our stay.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Norbert E.May 2016PozitivnoVery well maintained site, super friendly and helpful staff. Top sanitary facilities.NegativnononeTop campingHighly recommended. Why the place only has two stars is actually incomprehensible. We would love to come back.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Manfred T.August 2015PozitivnoThe location is good, fine for swimming, close to town, very pretty town, nice walks.NegativnoSmall pitches, close to neighbors, at night there can be noises from the city party - disco. Price not quite cheap.Very nice location, park-like, small pitchesBeautifully situated park-like campsite, partly like a garden by the water. Very good for swimming with a pebble beach. Close to town, various hiking trails possible, very nice little town. Disadvantage, small pitches, some disco noises in the evening. Kiosk very practical, clean sanitary facilities.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Frank W.August 2015Beautiful place right on the lakeA beautiful site with the town center within walking distance. The paths are a bit narrow and some of the pitches right by the lake are very small.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Melanie M.July 2015PozitivnoNo animation Great view of Lake Maggiore Small kiosk Close to CannobioNegativnothe sanitary facilities could be cleaned more often unfortunately the water got colder from time to time when showeringNice little placeNice little site, with a stone beach. The paths are a bit narrow (especially if the WW is 2.50 wide) but otherwise the pitches are very well maintained.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Matthias B.March 2015Pozitivnoclose to the village beautiful sanitary facilities directly at the lakesmall, beautiful place, close to the villageA small, beautiful place close to the village, which can be reached on foot within a few minutes. The sanitary facilities were clean and nice, the staff friendly. The location directly on the lake with a view towards Ticino is breathtaking. All in all a beautiful place.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Alexander K.September 2014PozitivnoGood accessibility from CHNegativnonarrow.ServiceVery unfriendly welcome, overbearing. Very nice groundskeeper. Bad store on site, but very close to the villageSamodejno prevedeno.
- Urs S.August 2014Summer camping on the LidoA very nice, well-kept campsite in a beautiful garden area directly on the lake with a 6-8m wide pebble beach.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Haller D.July 2014PozitivnoClean and sufficient sanitary facilities Location directly on the lake.Negativnounfriendly staff very tight space conditions, small plots Lack of peace and quiet at night not child-friendly, no play facilitiesNot recommendedWe spent a few days here in July and cannot recommend the site. The friendliness (and honesty) of the reception staff leaves a lot to be desired, the space is VERY tight and the night's rest is neither observed nor controlled. Relaxation absolutely impossible. The only plus points were the clean sanitary facilities and the location directly on the lake.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Jörn L.June 2014PozitivnoBeautiful park-like place - directly on the lake - clean sanitary facilitiesWell-kept park-like squareOne of several small campsites directly on the lake with its own pebble beach. The neighboring pitches share the partly tree-lined pebble beach. The site is very well-kept and has a park-like feel with palm trees, flowering bushes and trees. The pitches and paths are quite narrow in places. The two modern... sanitary facilities are very clean. At the campsite's own café, you can buy the most necessary groceries and pre-order bread rolls. The staff are friendly and speak a little German. The town center and the beautiful waterfront promenade can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Daniel K.April 2013We received a friendly welcome. The grounds are laid out like a park, great importance is attached to the care of the lawn and the plants, everything is very lovingly cared for. The sanitary facilities are clean and fresh bread is available to order in advance. The town of Canobbio is well worth a visit,... with a beautiful old village center, a magnificent church and a lovely lakeside promenade to stroll along, and Italian homemade ice cream is available in various gelaterias. The Sunday market is recommended, but there is a lot of traffic on the street on Sunday mornings. However, the place is also very expensive.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Marion A.June 2012Super nice place, very well maintained!!!Samodejno prevedeno.
- Nicole M.June 2011We have already been to Cannobio a few times. Our children are 3 and 9 years old. The place is very well maintained. The groundsman and all the staff are totally friendly and uncomplicated (even towards guests). The sanitary facilities are relatively modern and VERY clean. The pitches have electricity,... water is missing. The stone beach is shallow and well suited for smaller children. The beach replaces the missing playground. Water sports enthusiasts get their money's worth in Cannobio. There is a kite and windsurfing school 10 minutes from the campsite (on foot). A beautiful waterfall can be reached on an easy 1-hour hike. The town can also be reached in 10 minutes and the Sunday market is not to be missedSamodejno prevedeno.
