- Angelika S.October 2024PozitivnoBeach and sea right next to the campsite. Cleanliness Sanitary facilities are getting on in years, but clean FriendlinessNegativnoSanitary could be renewed.Beautiful place to relaxBeautiful area to feel at home. We were pleasantly surprised. Beach clean, campsite clean.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Andreas B.September 2022PozitivnoThe location by the sea Friendly staffNegativnoThe sanitary facilities are now getting on in years Many permanent campers Only 3A on siteA renovation is overdueWe have been coming back to this campsite for years. The showers are slowly becoming an imposition. Many taps are dripping, the washbasins and sinks are no longer nice. The staff were friendly as always. The pizza in the restaurant is very tastySamodejno prevedeno.
- Massimiliano t.May 2021PozitivnoDirty toilets and showers ,although in low seasonNegativnoWe returned with 2 dogs infested with more than 50 ticks per dog, vacation ruined and immediate return home for pest control( we live in the country and have been camping for 40 years, one tick doesn't shock me but 50 in 3 days is a health emergency) WARNING!!!Ticks emergencyTick emergency!!!
We stayed at this campground with our 2 dogs ,a Golden and a border collie and a child,
Our dogs were infested with Ticks, an average of 50 per dog, we notified the management that with little doing they gave a little dust around the pitch nothing more, without looking for alternative... solutions.
Seeing the non cessation of 'infestation after 3 days we had to run away For fear that the infestation would also affect us humans.
I would like to point out that we live in the country and I have been camping for 40 years and we have dogs all our lives, so one tick does not shock us, but 50 and we have not yet finished removing them all, would be usl intervention.
Our vacation ended badly ,because we could not continue to travel in those conditions, we had to go home for serious measures.
I hope the dogs do not have any health problems later.
BE CAREFUL!!!Samodejno prevedeno. - Manfred N.September 2019PozitivnoGood atmosphere among staff and campers Great for tents and small campers Car can be brought to the pitchNegativnoNot a 5* place with marble bathrooms and whirlpools Electricity only 3 amps - not enough for cooking1a for swimming and relaxing, partly outstanding for tents and VW busesI was there in early September 2019 - CP is located directly on the beach, but pitches have no sea view due to dunes - The Via Lungo Mare area directly in front of the dunes is particularly suitable for tents and campers like VW T2-T5, great clientele there, mostly younger than the average of the usual... campers, no bourgeois. Lungo Mare is only a small part of the site... - Toilets in early September (it was relatively well occupied) more than adequately sized and really clean, but no marble :-) - Restaurant has great prices and good quality. Take-away pizza €6.50, even with frutti di mare at that price - Reception speaks mostly German and at least English, really very helpful - Free choice of pitches within the limits of what is available. Cars allowed on the pitches - The other employees seem to like their job and are also very friendly - Rubbish is collected from the pitch in the morning and a new garbage bag is placed on the pitch every day - The sandy beach is cleaned regularly and is really big enough. The water depth rises very gently, perfect for playing in the water. - The supermarket is absolutely okay for small purchases, even has a lot of camping equipment at acceptable prices - medium-sized supermarket in Vada less than 2 km away You can tell I was very satisfied. So if you're not looking for a place with a pool, tennis court and other "luxuries", you'll certainly find a good place here.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Peter W.September 2019Pozitivnovery close to the beachNegativnoSewer odor in the showersItalian camping feelingThe campsite is only separated from the public beach by a small dune, natural sandy beach with a very shallow entrance into the sea. Small pitches, almost all covered with nets at a height of approx. 3m for shade. Partly narrow access to the pitches. Electricity only 3 A. Wash houses clean, but older. Showers smell of sewer - drain without siphon? Well-stocked camping and food store. Cheapest CP in the region.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Markus K.August 2019PozitivnoRestaurant, store and beach ok....NegativnoAge of the sanitary facilities. Price wise!!!No longer up to date.....Unfortunately no longer possible......Here price and performance ratio no longer fit together..... Much too expensive, sanitary facilities are completely outdated, beach is public, no showers on the beach.....usw... I'm sorry.....Not possible any more.... Maybe it was ok 20 years ago...Samodejno prevedeno.
- Michael J.May 2019PozitivnoDedicated and friendly staff, very good price-performance ratio, fantastic locationNegativnoVada does not offer the best shopping opportunitiesService for customers firstWe stayed at the campsite in May 2019 in adverse weather conditions. The staff were very friendly and supported us in all difficult situations. The sea view is fantastic and the atmosphere on the site is characterized by warmth and Italian flair.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Anna G.August 2018PozitivnoClose to the beach favorable friendly staff good supply possibilitiesNegativnoPermanent camper flairClassic Italian campsiteMy girlfriend (21 years old) and I (24 years old) stayed at the campsite for 4 nights. We had a tent and luckily found a shady, somewhat secluded pitch between mobile homes and large camper van pitches. The direct location to the beach is very nice, but it is very crowded during the day and you don't... really have any peace and quiet. The sea isn't that great, but as is usual in Italy. We were enthusiastic about the "white beach"/"limestone beach" about 5 minutes' drive towards Rosignano Solvay (but parking costs 8 EUR). The campsite operators even speak German and are very friendly. We didn't try the restaurant. The store has everything you need. We found the (Italian) large family permanent camping flair annoying. The campsite is really huge and densely populated by mobile homes and permanent campers of either Italian or German origin. However, we were also there during the peak tourist season. The town of Vada is a 20-minute walk away if you walk along the beach. We never tried the road, but I think it's the same. All in all, however, we are very undemanding, and for 21 EUR per night we spent a very cheap but quite nice vacation here (the decisive factor is what you make of it yourself ;)Samodejno prevedeno.
- Jens H.September 2017PozitivnoPeace, LocationNegativnoSomewhat basic sanitary facilities as is apparently usual in this region.Tuscany, beach and tranquillityThe infrastructure is a bit older but in good condition. Sanitary facilities a little simpler but quite clean. Direct access to the beach and in a great location for excursions into Tuscany. Also recommended with a dog in the low season.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Bernhard K.July 2017PozitivnoWonderful beach, large shady pitches, peace, cleanliness and friendliness.Perfect vacation for relaxation and sightseeingA perfect place for a vacation where you can relax and enjoy the beauty of Tuscany at the same time. The site offers a wonderful beach, large shady pitches, it's quiet, clean and the staff are very friendly. I will definitely be back!Samodejno prevedeno.
- Andreas P.July 2017Pozitivno- Rest - no evening entertainment - delicious cornbreadNegativno- Guests should take more care of the sanitary facilities, especially the toilets.July 2017Simply furnished family-friendly campsite, close to the sea. The store offers the essentials (unfortunately the watermelons are missing). I don't find the food in the restaurant very tasty. It is annoying how certain guests leave the toilets.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Angela S.June 2017Pozitivnobeautiful beach, friendly staff, vacation well suited for families with IndiansNegativnoRestaurant not recommended Supermarket has a small offer, no vacation to relaxVacation mid to end of June 2017We spent our vacation here for 14 days. We rented a mobile home for this. The layout of the MH was quite good, just not very well insulated. When it was very hot, as we were, you inevitably had to switch on the air conditioning. There were also no tall protective trees. The reception staff were very... friendly. Unfortunately there was an extremely unfriendly waiter in the restaurant. This was also confirmed to us by other Germans and Swiss. We also had the feeling that we were not particularly welcome by the Italian guests. The food in the restaurant was also not recommended. The beach is nice and clean, but the place is not really suitable for guests who want to relax as it is quite noisy. But this is our impression, others will certainly feel differently.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Bo O.May 2017PozitivnoClean, simple, beautiful place right by the seaNegativnoAt the weekend Italian permanent campers which did not bother usClean place right by the sea on WE many permanent campersHalf of the pitch is occupied by permanent campers, our neighbors were very nice. Sanitary facilities functional and very clean, including washing machine and dryer, shower does not cost extra. Pitches covered with shade, grass. Directly on the sea only separated by a dune, beach already clean even in... low season you can walk 1 hour on the beach. Restaurant has the charm of a station café but good food and nice staff. Only the reception staff speak German/English. WLAN only at the reception and in the cafe. Garbage is picked up every morning at the pitch We had a nice 4 days and would love to come backSamodejno prevedeno.
- an c.May 2016A week of relaxationI indulged in a week of relaxation at the Rada Etrusca Campground, and found myself lulled by the breeze, awakened by the birds, restored by swimming in the sea that is just a stone's throw away....Samodejno prevedeno.
- Andreas B.September 2015PozitivnoIdeal CP for a beach vacation. We only met nice staff and guests. Good price/performance ratioNegativnoWeak power connectionsA simple but clean place right by the seaWe have been to this site several times and have always been satisfied. Everything you need is available and works. Unfortunately, the power connections are already overloaded with a coffee machine. The garbage is collected daily from the pitch by the friendly groundsman. The beach is only a stone's throw away and wonderful.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Verena H.August 2015Pozitivno- directly by the sea - shady pitches - well-equipped store - great restaurantNegativno- Sanitary facilities - Extremely characterized by permanent campersRight by the seaWe stayed at this campsite in August with our three children (all under the age of 10). It really is right by the sea. Each pitch is covered with a net, so there is plenty of shade. This is ideal in the hot summer temperatures. There is a well-equipped store, even with a fresh food counter. And the restaurant,... which also offers a take-away service, is highly recommended. Unfortunately, apart from a small playground, the site offers nothing else. There were games/attractions on offer (RadaGames), but only in Italian and therefore only interesting for the (permanent) campers. The ratio of permanent campers to tourists here is certainly 80:20, which is also noticeable in the appearance of the pitches. The site was fully booked during our stay. This was also noticeable in the lack of cleanliness of the sanitary facilities, which were already in need of getting used to. It's also a shame that the power supply is so fragile. With a 3A fuse, no other appliance can be operated apart from the fridge.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Otto H.June 2015PozitivnoRight by the sea. Friendly and helpful staff.NegativnoWiFi' WLan connection inadequate.Feel-good family campingThe pitch is right by the sea. No road, no path in between. It is relatively quiet during the week due to the many Italian permanent campers who mostly come at the weekend. No queuing at the shower or for washing up. You feel like you're in Italy at the weekend and not in Switzerland. Fortunately, there... are no snobs and know-it-alls on this site. Nice contacts to the Italian side such as reception, supermarket, bar, up to the night watchman. Thank you. And in my experience, if you don't get on with the Italian permanent campers or don't get into a 'conversation', it's your own fault. Most of the campers are very sociable and talkative. My wife sometimes wonders how it can take 2 hours to do the washing up. The place is recommended for a vacation with or without a dog, I will definitely be back.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Roland H.September 2014Pozitivno- Large shady pitches with trees for the hammock... - Depending on the distance to the restaurant: Free internet access! - LocationNegativno- If it rains heavily, the water can be ankle-deep on some of the paths on the course for a few hours.Ideal base station for a beach vacation with excursions into the hinterland! The campsite is located between Vada and Cecina directly by the sea. The camping area is only separated from the beach by a wall. I often stay here in the off-season and love the friendliness and flexibility of the staff as well as the very good restaurant (best "Arrabiata" far and wide...) on the site!... You feel warmly welcomed and at home! The proximity to Pisa, Florence and the springs around Monte Amiata predestine the place as a base camp for motorcycle or bicycle tours into the hinterland. In between, you can always take a lazy day at the beach...Samodejno prevedeno.
- Alexandra m.August 2014Pozitivnobeach access, bike path at the campsite exit, quiet, pleasant welcomeNegativnono italian ice cream!!! too bad...An ideal campsite to relax and enjoy the beachThis campsite overlooks the beach and is very quiet and tranquil. Vehicles are only allowed from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. No pets are allowed unless tethered, so no wandering. Garbage is collected daily in front of your pitch and a garbage bag is given out every day. There's a... grocery store to take care of all your needs, and a pizzeria with a varied menu. Like many places in Italy, the reception is very pleasant. For a stay with teenagers, it will lack entertainment. When staying in a mobile home, the vehicle must be parked outside, but the parking lot is next to the campsite, and to our knowledge there's no problem. The wi-fi works mainly at reception, but in the middle of August, that's understandable...Samodejno prevedeno.
- Roman L.July 2013A pleasant, well-equipped campsite right on the shore of the Tyrrhenian Sea.Right in front of the campsite there is a large beach. The price in full season for two adults, two children, a tent and a car was 56,50€ per night.Samodejno prevedeno.
