Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra can all be reached in about 30 minutes by car. Sanitary facilities: Very basic, but reasonably clean. Small pool, nice to cool off after the day's excursions. Pitches: Rather small (no problem in low season),... panoramic view only from the pitches on the eastern edge. Very quiet, nice and shady in the heat. Catering: Bread roll service, small bar, restaurants nearby.Samodejno prevedeno.

Great location, friendly staff, clean site, restaurant next door highly recommended (beware the pizza is rectangular and huge but wafer-thin!). - Till S.July 2018PozitivnoView, friendliness, helpfulness, tranquillity, naturalness, value for moneyBeautiful, family campsite in a great locationThe campsite is on a slope and if you have a pitch on the edge, you have a wonderful view. The location is perfect for excursions to Siena or Florence. The operators are young and really nice. Everything is totally uncomplicated and you feel at home from the very first moment. The small bar is nothing... special, but is also very reasonably priced. The sanitary facilities were always clean and the generally very natural site was also very clean. There is a great restaurant right next door with a beautiful view. There are also two nice restaurants in the village, which is within easy walking distance and has a fantastic view. The village is very nice overall, albeit small. By the way, you can order bread and croissants until 7pm the day before. The bread is nothing special, but we found the croissants very tasty. Again, the price is absolutely fine. In summary, we felt totally at home and of the four campsites we stayed at during our vacation, this was by far the nicest and yet the cheapest. Wonderful pitch, shady and with fantastic views; ideal location for excursions to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and the Chianti region; sanitary facilities were always tiptop clean, always hot water, even for washing dishes. Extremely friendly, lovable owners,... thanks again to Gianni and Francesco for the super service and great helpfulness. Here you are not a tourist, but a welcome guest - simply great! The sanitary facilities are fantastically clean, there is even hot water for washing dishes. WLAN is free, but is of very poor quality (unusable). The small store on site was closed in April. From some of the pitches you have a great view of the hilly Tuscan landscape. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities smelled like a sewage treatment plant. There are no toilet seats and toilet paper. The site is clean and the sanitary facilities are... simple, but also clean. The pool is great for refreshing. You can get sandwiches and the essentials at the kiosk. You can make great excursions to Florence or Siena from there. However, you need good maps for hiking and cycling. The steep approach is not for the faint-hearted.Samodejno prevedeno.

Although we were prepared to pay for the unused night there was no more friendliness. Forgotten glasses were not looked for, we fetched them ourselves from the shower in Semifonte after days at the other campsite. Small pitches, nothing for large double-axle caravans!
