"Great location right by the sea with the mountains in the background - Overall, the campsite makes a rather rustic impression and the welcome is typically Corsican. However, the price-performance ratio is still okay...

"Dream location, but showers not without disgust - One tent and three motorhomes were all that was on the pitch in mid-April. We could position ourselves however we wanted. But this "nice" German man explained to us that this would no longer be possible in four weeks' time. You are instructed in such a way that even the last square meter still brings coal. We were there for 2 days because of the location. We didn't use the sanitary facilities. The somewhat newer block was still closed. The showers in the old area are worth seeing. This is what I imagine a prison shower in Brazil to be like: cramped, dark and dirty. "People come here for the location and put up with the inconvenience in other areas," said the Alemannic padrone.

"Great campsite - We stayed at the campsite near Farinole in the last week of August. There were still plenty of free pitches and we were able to pitch our tent almost directly by the sea. Great view of the sea, mega sunsets. Location generally great for experiencing Cap Corse and St. Florent. The site itself makes a wonderfully "wild" impression in the lower area, no pitches, relatively green. The sanitary facilities could be better and especially more in the lower area. The operators and staff were very friendly. You have to order baguettes the day before. All in all, a wonderful place, especially for people who like to "stand wild" without sacrificing the comfort of a campsite. Directly on the beach there is a stone beach, 5 min. walk to the north a great sandy beach.

"not so, the last thing you need is unfriendliness from minute 1 - as already noted by SchweinuHarry we were also shouted at by a very unfriendly couple from afar with a "hello there you are not allowed to stand" on the attempt to explain that we want to visit the place first came the answer "that's not possible ... first register" after this oh so friendly German greeting we turned around immediately and looked for the far one

"Located by the sea - We visited A Stella extensively, but didn't stay. We actually wanted to go to Camping A Stella because the location on Cap Corse near Saint Florent would have fitted in well with our plans, but unfortunately the rest didn't work out. As soon as we got out of the car, we were greeted by an older German gentleman who only ever called out "Hello hello" and then directed us to an awning that had been converted into a kind of reception kiosk with a "You have to go there". There, an equally German and equally unfriendly lady explained to us that we had to register before we were allowed onto the pitch and that the pitch was already full, but that some guests were still leaving, freeing up valuable space. We asked for permission to visit the site on foot first. Permission was granted. The site was at most half full, but firmly in German hands. You have the choice between only sun or no sun at all. So either a meadow or a dense wood where there is no sun at all. The few pitches with a sea view are only available without any significant shade and only if you don't want to stand in the middle (strict parking regulations). The shady grove is only suitable for low tents. The sanitary facilities were relatively new and sufficient, were also clean and made a good impression. The beach, if you want to call it that, was less beautiful and consisted of large stones and a concrete ramp for boats. As we wanted to spend more time on the beach than in the sanitary facilities and the site itself was too noisy and restless for us, we didn't bother registering with the German janitor couple and looked for another site.
