Barbara N.June 2022PozitivnoLocationNegativnoif at all, then the size of the pitches. But not really important for a weekendPerfect for a long weekendA beautiful, small site, terraced on a small lake. The pitches are small, for longer caravans the car stays in the parking lot below.
The toilet block is newly renovated, the showers not (yet), but clean at all times.
The site is a wonderful starting point for hiking (Uplandsteig) and cycling tours (R5, various circular routes). Annett S.August 2020Pozitivno-Hiking trails directly from the campsite -relatively small and manageable campsite -very beautiful surroundings for hiking and relaxing -Close to nature and very suitable for dogs -Swimming lake right next to the campsite, also permitted for dogsNegativno-The sanitary building is very outdated and not always clean -the individual terraces are quite narrow and when fully occupied it is quite cramped -no reception or contact point available, the campers are more or less left to their own devices, operators are not always on site (but can always be reached immediately by telephone) -There are site rules, but they are rarely enforcedWe had imagined it to be a little nicer!We were there for a long weekend and had booked in advance by email. This also included specifying the size of the caravan.
When we arrived, the site seemed very full and the pitch reserved for us was far too small for our caravan.
But together with the operator we found a very nice place on the fourth... terrace (terrace 2 was planned), without a view of the lake, but very close to nature and actually quiet.
Unfortunately, just one terrace down there was a large group of young people camping, who were not very strict about resting and sleeping times.
As the website is aimed more at families and those seeking peace and quiet, we hadn't expected this and were a little disappointed.
Hygiene in the sanitary building was also difficult to maintain with such an influx of people.

Of course, we have to ask our guests to let us know if there are any disturbances during the night, as we are not always on site, as you have already mentioned. If this is not done, we assume that nobody feels disturbed.

There is a bathing lake right next to the campsite, which is great for refreshment on hot days.
The Uplandsteig trail starts directly at the campsite. The site is also ideal for hiking and mountain biking.
The wash house could be... renovated, but it is clean and does not detract from the vacation in any way.
