- Thomas S.August 2019PozitivnoWe have been coming to Bellavista regularly for almost 30 years. That speaks for itself. Top location, beautiful pitches under olive trees or pine trees, nice and generally clean sanitary facilities. The pizza in the restaurant on site is a dream, the people are all nice. Very safe place, great if the children are still small and you can still let them jump carefree. Rules are observed, we have never had any noise problems.NegativnoThe pitches near the road can be noisy, which is not ideal. In the high season, a second round of cleaning in the sanitary facilities sometimes wouldn't hurt.Great campsite - little potential for improvementGreat campsite, which has been worth a certain ch at least once a year for many years. Dream location, it could hardly be better.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Anita H.August 2019PozitivnoGuarded campsite, clean sanitary facilities, Lidl in the immediate vicinity, small, manageable campsite.NegativnoWe didn't find any disadvantages. The things that bothered us when camping were us and what we forgot at home.Highly recommended campsite, even with childrenPlace is very clean, staff very friendly, location simply brilliant, pitches partly with shade from e.g. olive trees, guarded pitch, direct access to the lakeSamodejno prevedeno.
- Dieter B.June 2019PozitivnoThe location to the lake only a few minutes walk to the place, good restaurant, Lidl in front of the place, half shady pitchesNegativnofor us noTop placeSituated on the edge of the village directly on Lake Garda, access to the lake via a keycode-secured gate.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Inge H.September 2017PozitivnoDirectly on the lakeNegativnoLoud, but that's just the way it is around hereGoes like thisWhen we arrived it was the last day of the season, boss was unfriendly. We would have liked to leave again. Unfortunately everything was full in the area.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Constanze und Frank B.September 2017PozitivnoFor those seeking peace and quiet: no playground and no youth groups. Directly by the lake. Very scenic location. Close to town, everything within walking distance.NegativnoSmall pitches. Street noise.Perfect for couples without children! The place itself was pleasantly quiet, even with few children, apart from the street noise (like almost everywhere on Lake Garda) but you eventually overhear it. The location is beautiful. The pitches are a bit small for our taste, we never actually park parallel to the road, but unfortunately there... was no other option here (Wowa 7.40). The scenic location made up for this. You are surrounded by olive trees and pines. The lake with its magnificent panorama is in the immediate vicinity, easy to reach and has its own stretch of beach. The beach is rocky and was never crowded. There is a lot to do. The Lidl supermarket is close by. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. There are nice and some less nice pitches, you don't really have a free choice as we experienced it. Reservations are not possible. The boss chooses who is allowed on the pitch, which some people find less great, but is good for vacationers looking for peace and quiet like us! There was no noise and no soccer matches in front of us (we have children of 17 and 18 but they were always allowed to leave their balls at home), no youth groups and that was extremely pleasant. The boss or the employees are always out and about on the small square on their bikes, but again I have to say what you think of that is a matter of opinion. We felt safer. Great care was taken to ensure that there were no strangers on site. The sanitary facilities are thoroughly cleaned. The only thing, which is normal here on Lake Garda in many places, is that you have to bring your own toilet paper ;-)). What bothered me a bit more was that you have toilets and washing and shower cubicles right next to each other in one room. I don't think that's great. But in the end, the advantages definitely outweigh the disadvantages for us. Recommended for couples. We will be back again.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Herb D.August 2017PozitivnoLocation on the lake and to the towns.NegativnoCramped, too expensive. Sometimes unfriendly staff.Dream location, boring and only for regular guestsThe location directly on the lake is a dream location for surfers and bikers. It's a stone's throw by bike to Torbole and Riva via cycle paths. The sanitary facilities are only cleaned once a day (at lunchtime). If you want it quiet, you may be lucky (on the lake) or unlucky (on the road). There are... no play facilities for children. You can only get a reservation if a regular guest recommends you. Most campers have been coming for 'twenty years'. Spontaneous stops can be safely forgotten. Despite free pitches, travelers were sent on or accepted. The nose factor was probably the deciding factor. The site is completely under video surveillance. If that doesn't bother you, if you're not interested in what happens to your pictures and don't feel like you're being watched, then that's fine. The staff are friendly and sometimes direct to the point of rudeness. They make their rounds several times an hour and seem a little curious. The mostly small pitches are laid out in a boring row along a straight tarred road, separated by trees, so they are actually shady. Shopping (including bread rolls) at Lidl next door or in Torbole/Riva. The restaurant serves mainly average pizza at moderate prices. Considering what the campsite has to offer, it is too expensive. You only pay for the location on the lake and proximity to the towns. If you don't need this, there are nicer places 15 minutes by bike inland towards Arco.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Margit S.April 2017DreamlikeClean!!!!!! Good price - quality ratio, dream beach, ...... Great complex with picnic areas, very helpful staff. Even if you don't speak Italian well, they try to help. Many thanks to Ms. Letizia, a camper from Milan, who was very helpful. We will be back next year. By the way: the honey offered at reception is fantastic!!!!!Samodejno prevedeno.
- Silvia G.April 2017PozitivnoGood starting point for many activities, safe campsiteNegativnoIf there is a lot of traffic, the seats at the back are a bit too smallHere again and againAfter 4 years we were here again in April for 1 week and as always we liked it very much. Nice staff and manager, nice pitch, everything clean. We feel safe here. Bicycles do not need to be connected, everything is very relaxed. The good cuisine on the campsite is excellentSamodejno prevedeno.
- Jörg L.May 2016PozitivnoDirectly on the lake, clean, large pitches, free electricity and hot waterNegativnoNo toilet paper, noisy in the rear area.Nice place with a few compromisesWe were at BellaVista with our bus before Whitsun. Despite good occupancy, there were still places available. We found the staff to be friendly and reserved, perhaps because the season had only just started. The site is clean and the sanitary facilities are also nice and clean. However, for a pitch in... this price range, I would expect at least toilet paper in the cabins. And wifi could also be free at this price (36.- for 2 pers and dog and VW bus per night). The rear pitches are noisy due to the road, but it was bearable. Nice, right on the lakeshore with direct access. Just around the corner a Lidl for shopping.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Susanne R.September 2014Pozitivnodirectly on the lakeNegativnovery loud! arrogant boss! The location by the lake cannot compensate for the boss's arrogant demeanorTo summarize in advance: location on the lake top, shopping facilities top, but rear part of the CP not very appealing and especially at night VERY noisy due to the directly passing road. But the gentleman at reception (the boss? as the other reviews suggest?!) is really very unpleasant. We were looking... for a pitch for 1 or 2 nights on our way back from Tuscany. He gave us a pitch number - in a slightly arrogant tone of voice - which we were allowed to look at. It was right at the back by the fence to the road - as I said: very noisy! But on the way there we also saw a few other free pitches, including one right at the entrance to the lake. "Do you think we've kept this lovely pitch just for you?" If we hadn't been traveling with 2 small children, we would have left immediately! The next day, this pitch was still free, as were the two others we had asked about, even at half past 12 when we left... When asked, he replied that the pitch had already been reserved by a regular guest since February. They only take reservations from regular guests anyway. We certainly won't become regulars like that! I've never experienced anything so arrogant on a campsite...Samodejno prevedeno.
- Theo B.July 2014PozitivnoDirectly on the lake Very clean facilityNegativnoThe rear seats are very noisy due to the proximity to the streetBeautiful place right on the lakeNice place right on the lake. Sanitary facilities very clean. Pitches beautifully situated in the olive grove. The rear pitches are very noisy due to the proximity to the busy road.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Peter und Sabine K.April 2014PozitivnoBellavista=Beautiful viewNegativnoRest impairmentA CP in a top location. The sanitary facilities are new and are cleaned thoroughly every day. Shopping facilities are just around the corner (newly created Lidl with a very extensive range). The restaurant invites you to linger. All the staff, from the owner couple to the restaurant staff to the employees,... are very friendly and speak good German. Especially the boss and his receptionist (the wife?) always had a friendly word ready and gave us several useful tips for excursions, which was fully confirmed after our visit. We found it very good that the quiet times of the campsite were respected. Incidentally, it is common practice on upmarket campsites for someone from the staff to regularly check the site in the interests of the campers (which is why I don't understand the position of some visitors to the site). The peace and quiet was affected by the passing road and the current building site "next door" at Lidl. I have one critical comment: "The 3 A power fuse is not enough. This was not even enough to use a kettle with a power consumption of 800 watts. Anyone visiting the site should not forget toilet paper. All in all, the positives outweigh the negatives. We will visit the site again.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Bo S.September 2013CP is ideally located on the lake. Great starting point for mountain biking. Did the previous speakers do something wrong to feel persecuted by the staff? I felt very safe here. The sanitary facilities are excellent - very clean. Where I have to agree with them is the staff. It's down to the boss. He... is very, very headstrong. This makes him seem very unfriendly. This rubs off on the staff. There are no deviations from the CP rules in favor of the guests. Departure before 8:00 impossible. Boss has been sitting at reception since 7:30. But the gate remains closed until 8:00. You can wait behind it for half an hour. But there are great breakfast rolls. The best ciabatta I know.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Stefan S.July 2013Very unfriendly staff, I can only confirm this from my predecessor, never again!Samodejno prevedeno.
- Carina B.June 2013We visited this campsite for the first but also for the last time. positive impression: - clean - small - beautiful landscape negative impression (impressions) - annoyed staff - pitches already quite run down (meadow-free) - hardly any space for tent + tarp - limited use (no choice of pitch) - video... surveillance - constant patrols - observation - preference for caravans ----------------------------------------- We would not want to return to this campsite again for the following reasons. - We felt very alone as campers and this was also made very clear with the pitch assigned to us. - You couldn't drive your car on the campsite after 10pm and had to park your car in front of it (it's video-monitored but still unpleasant) - you could clearly hear the staff even in the evening (patrols, conversations, smoking) - from 08:00 there was no peace and quiet. The "regular staff" in the caravans loudly drew attention to the fact that they were awake. - When we asked about excursion destinations, we were given brochures but no real information. The worst thing for us was the constant surveillance (bathroom, entrance, control drives) ... There were cameras everywhere. We also found the allocation of pitches and reduced spaces for tents and cars compared to a caravan to be very unfriendly. However, we had to hold out for 6 days before we drove to Austria full of joy and finally found a campsite that was quiet, clean and offered enough space.Samodejno prevedeno.

- Carsten S.July 2011Pozitivnoby the lakeNegativnothe bossBella_istaThe site is right on the lake and is very clean and well laid out. The manager and some of the staff are very unfriendly and arrogant. Bikers and trikers are not really welcome. In order not to appear completely rude, they simply claim that the site is fully booked. Done. NEVER AGAIN BELLA\_ISTASamodejno prevedeno.
- Alfred R.August 2010Too bad about the beautifully located and very central place, as it is run by an unfriendly owner (staff included)!!!! The sanitary facilities are under video surveillance, every half hour a member of staff cycled through the site, which made us feel like we were being watched at every turn. We felt... like we were in a prison because of the unnecessary midday rest and the iron bars all around. We campers are not criminals! I haven't experienced anything like this in 11 years! The sanitary facilities are very well maintained, but the price-performance ratio is not right on this site. It is commendable that you are protected as a camper abroad, but in my opinion not like this!!!Samodejno prevedeno.
- Armin Q.June 2010just like the previous writer i also had to experience it very unfriendly staff just because the cp is on the garda they think they can do everything very narrow pitches no trace of peace and quiet we left the next day.Samodejno prevedeno.
