Restaurant available on site, price performance of the restaurant could be better, but it's just Lake Constance.

The sanitary facilities were always very well maintained. Very suitable for caravans and motorhomes,... less suitable for tents and in rainy weather because there is no infrastructure such as hotplates or recreation rooms for campers.
Lunchtime regulation. Arrival only possible after 15:00.
The small stretch of beach is not much to look at, it is basically a slipway for the boats. The water here is of poorer quality and the beach is musty. Presumably from the extremes of the many ducks and swans. We then cycled to Uhldingen for a swim, where there is a wonderful public beach access.
The independent restaurant (Im Vorbei) is a bit expensive for the usual standards such as Maultaschen etc. It's ok for occasional visits. The owner is very nice, but often a little over the top. Sometimes a snack bar is open next door, which is also very expensive (currywurst with bread roll €5.5).

The site could be improved with a separate area for motorhomes. The constant coming and going of this type of vehicle creates quite a disturbance.

A must outside the campsite is Bauer Möcking (approx. 3 km away on the cycle path).

The campsite is located directly on the lake and on the cycle path, road traffic is barely noticeable.
The staff on site are friendly, the sanitary facilities are spacious and very clean.
The highlight for us was the adjoining... restaurant "Im Vorbei", which we visited every evening. The very friendly owners prepare and serve great dishes.

The location is great and well suited for excursions to the pile dwellings or to the pier for a tour to the island of Mainau (both within walking... distance in about 30 minutes). You need a chip to enter the toilets and washrooms, which you receive on arrival, so strangers cannot use the facilities. The operator, staff and restaurant staff are very... friendly and helpful. Restaurant can be recommended. The place is quiet, you can't hear anything from the street. Due to the vineyards nearby, you can hear the birds being chased away with starlings at around 08:00 in the morning. The... only thing that was a disaster was the wifi, every slow train is faster than this wifi (when it works).
Nevertheless, a very nice place that we will definitely visit again.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. The children had a lot of fun with the campsite vehicles and of course in the water. I wouldn't rate the sanitary facilities as they were still closed at the time. But the outdoor shower... is great if you like it cold :-). There is a bread roll service on the site or you can also have breakfast in the restaurant. The surrounding area is very nice to explore by bike, Meersburg and Überlingen can also be done with children (our 5.7). We also managed to visit Constance with the children. Very friendly staff both at reception and in... the restaurant. Bread roll service works well except on Mondays, when the restaurant is closed and there are no bread rolls. But a farm store is not far away and you can get your breakfast bread there. The only drawback for me personally are the pitches with pebbles... The campsite is clearly laid out and offers everything you need, except perhaps a functioning WLAN ;-). But that's not really a serious drawback. We particularly liked the fact that, for example, several go-karts are provided free of charge... for the children and that there is no attempt to make extra money with such "services", as is the case on other campsites. Finally, the clear layout of the campsite also benefits the family-friendliness. Although there are no shopping facilities on site, you can order bread rolls for the following day in the adjoining restaurant until the evening and ice cream from the freezer is also available for young and old. There are plenty of shops in the immediate vicinity. The point criticized by some, that no reservations are possible, speaks in my opinion rather for the place. This way you always have the chance to get something and remain flexible. That's what camping is all about and we appreciate that. Depending on the wind, you can hear the road and the railroad. But the train doesn't run often and the road noise is limited. It was quiet at night. The nice thing is that you... are in a rural area here, which is not already built up. We received a very friendly welcome on arrival and were even asked if we needed any help. We were able to choose the pitch ourselves. Plenty of space for caravan, marquise and car! It is only a 15-20 minute walk to the harbor in Unteruhldingen (good boat rental!). There are many hiking possibilities and also for cycling. The food in the restaurant was also very good. The farm store (Spargelhof) with Besenwirtschaft, is also worth mentioning. It is less than a 10 minute walk away. We liked it all around and we will gladly come back.Samodejno prevedeno.

We called the campsite regularly in short intervals about 1 1/2 hours before arrival to a: find out whether a pitch was free (there... is no reservation in advance) and b: let them know that we would probably arrive at 6.30 pm sharp. Unfortunately, we didn't reach anyone. We were there on time at 18.30, but unfortunately the reception door was closed in our faces. Unfortunately, knocking and shouting didn't help. Other guests then told us to park in front of the entrance so that we could check in directly in the morning. No sooner said than done. Unfortunately, we were later chased away very rudely by the groundsman, the gentleman's manner was impossible to say the least. The pitch was relatively empty and we wouldn't have disturbed anyone outside the door. Of course we would have paid for the night.... It's a shame that this inflexibility means we won't be coming back, as there are much friendlier hosts on Lake Constance. When we checked in the next morning, however, we were greeted by a much friendlier woman and everything was OK for just one more night.Samodejno prevedeno.

The facilities and condition/cleanliness of the sanitary facilities are very positive. You have plenty of space to shower/brush your teeth/make-up etc. in peace. The direct access to the lake is also great, and there is a restaurant right... by the lake and a playground for the little ones. There are permanent campers and tourist pitches on the campsite. In our case, it was also positive that we found a pitch spontaneously (even with a partial view of the lake) because you can't make a reservation in advance. However, you can call the day before and find out how full the pitch is. Overall, there are few trees and many pitches without shade - so be sure to bring an umbrella/tarp. There are also specially designated pitches for (small) tents, but it's a little more difficult with larger tents. Very few of the pitches have a grassy surface, but rather stones and are mainly intended for motorhomes and the like. Another positive aspect for us is the stricter "dog policy". They must always be kept on a lead and are not allowed on the main beach. Very pleasant - even if unfortunately not all dog owners abide by the rules. The disadvantages. We didn't like the atmosphere on the campsite. There are lots of signs and prohibition signs and the groundsman makes sure that these are adhered to. We personally didn't have any problematic encounters with him, but because of our pitch right next to the reception/playground, we did experience a few problem situations. This is no way to deal with guests. A little more leniency and, above all, a friendlier tone on the part of the site management would considerably improve the atmosphere on the campsite. Rules can and must be adhered to - but the tone makes the music. We also didn't like the access to the lake, you can't swim there, the water is several hundred meters deep and the bottom is full of aquatic plants. However, it is ideal for splashing around with children. If you have a pitch close to the restaurant, you have to expect noise from the kitchen fan/extractor fan. Unfortunately, this was a bit annoying and disturbed the peace and quiet that otherwise prevails on the site. Overall, we can recommend the campsite.Samodejno prevedeno.
