Ligita K.September 2023PozitivnoTHERE WAS NOTHING I LIKED ABOUT THIS CAMPSITENegativnoWE STAYED IN CAMPSITE FOR 4 NIGHT AND NONE OF THE NIGHTS WE COULD SLEEP AS PEOPLE WAS VERY NOISY AFTER 10 PM, MUSIC AND LOUD TALKING TILL LATE.MOBILE HOME NEED TO BE RENOVATED ASAP, BUGS INFESTATION, SMELL FROM SHOWER , SHOWER DOOR BROKEN, BUNK BED ALMOST WAS FELLING APART, MAIN SLIDING DOOR WASNT LOCKING AND WE EVEN DIDNT NOTICE UNTIL DAY 2, WHEN TRIED TO LOCK AND PULL IT CAME OPEN.REPORTED TO RECEPTION MAINTANANCE NEVER CAME.SOME OF STAFF WAS HELPFULL SOME NOT SO. CAMPSITE ADVERTISE THAT BEACH IS 200M AWAY, BUT IN REALITY ITS ABOUT 600M AWAY AND DANGEROUS TO WALK NO PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS.STAFF TOLD US THAT THEREIS FREE CAR PARK BESIDE BEACH IF WE WISH TO DRIVE, BUT WHEN WE CAME THERE WAS GYPSY PEOPLE ASKING FOR DONATION AFTER YOU PARK YOUR CAR, IF YOU DONT PAY THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR CAR WHEN YOU ARE AWAY.THE WORST CAMPSITE EVERCampsite is very poor maintained, roads are bad, rules are set for campsite just nobody follow them, havent good night sleep on my 4 night stay.Campsite quite noisy as its beside motorway as well.Mobile home which we got wasnt up to standarts, on site was small well stocked shop, bar with take away.- Roswitha R.May 2023PozitivnoBus to MarbellaNegativnoPlace leaves an "unloved" impression.Directly on the A7The ADAC or ACSI card is not accepted when booking.
The site is located directly on the A7 highway. We had booked in advance and were suggested a pitch directly on the A7, but we were then able to choose a new pitch.
There is no access lane, stop sign, look for a gap and drive up, speed limit on the... A7 is 80 km/h, if you stick to it!
Pitches are medium-sized, hard floor, Schuko sockets, no allocation to the pitch, a hopeless mess. Free WiFi for 1 hour in special zones, otherwise €12 for 7 days, but still very slow and sometimes no reception at all.
Sanitary facilities (far too few toilets) are older and were reasonably clean. Everything seemed a bit careless during our stay, hedges and trees not trimmed. Bread roll service only from 09.00, otherwise you have to go to a Shell gas station, but they only offer poorly baked goods. The Pizzeria Bruno on the square is not recommended, overpriced and poor quality.
You have to walk about 15 minutes to the beach along busy roads behind crash barriers and of course there is a bus service to Marbella.

C.March 2023PozitivnoPitches quite large, restaurants very goodNegativnolower pitches very noisy due to riverside road/highway (identical here!)Nice, shady place for a short breakNice campsite, a bit large, the pitches high up on the slope are quiet, below you can clearly hear the highway, two nice restaurants, several sanitary buildings, quite clean, but could be better, 2 swimming pools (indoor pool also open in winter), small store. All pitches are "shady" to "very shady"... due to the pine trees
The beautiful beach is a 10-minute walk away, somewhat unpleasant via narrow sidewalks from larger streets.
ATTENTION: if you want to go to Marbella by bike (only 14 km), you will find no other way than the A7/N340 for more than 50% of the short distance! A 4-lane "highway"!!! Understandably the entire site is “completo” and there’s a festive atmosphere. As a retired couple we probably wouldn’t choose to stay here at the height of the summer, but the advantages far outweigh any negatives. We are staying at the bottom of the site, which is closest to the road but nearest the ocean. There is some road noise, but the proximity to lovely walks on the beach more than compensates for this.Great family site near the MediterraneanWe chose to stay at Camping Cabopino after reading a review in the U.K. Caravan and Motorhome Club magazine. We are certainly not disappointed. We are having an extended stay as convalescence following a period of ill-health. The mild climate and generally relaxing atmosphere is just what we need.

There are no activities on the site itself, but the location is an ideal starting point for the attractions in the area. The permanent campers were helpful and friendly. The pitch we were allowed to choose ourselves was good for us and we were comfortable. It is... rather boring for children, so you have to know how to keep them occupied. There's not much in the way of food on the campsite, so you have to eat out if you don't want to cook yourself. Nevertheless, we liked it.Samodejno prevedeno.

However, it was right next to a station where toilet cassettes from caravans were emptied. Although the actual emptying station was behind another building. As a result, considerable odor pollution on the terrace. Had booked the... place for this time of year, as swimming pool was offered heated. However, this was closed due to a defect. The location of the place good, 10 minutes to the Starnd. 5 minutes to the supermarket. Both restaurants at the CP very good (if you like Indian or Italian). AT LEAST I SAW THAT THE BATHROOMS WERE CLEANED 3 TIMES A DAY. THERE WAS ONE UNDER RENOVATION WHICH WAS A LITTLE INCONVENIENT BUT LESS THAN 40 METERS AWAY WAS THE NEXT MODULE. They let some people circulate, leave and enter with vehicles outside the allowed hours even at three o'clock in the morning. They do not have lifeguards in the pool, they are entertainers and are... not aware of the people and things that can happen. They exceed the capacity of the pool and it is impossible to take a dip on many occasions without colliding with other people. They make recordings without consent and there were drones flying over the pool and taking pictures and recordings in the pool and in the other activities, the monitors and other staff allowed it because they did nothing to prevent it. The treatment of the night controllers is discriminating as they do not treat everyone equally, and bad manners and invading the plots. They finish the activities at 23:30 but for some groups they do other activities that exceed 24:00 with music and microphones. All weekend with the containers full of garbage giving very bad smell. Very bad access to the beach, there is no pedestrian crossing or good visibility to cross the road which you have to follow to go to the beach which is far away. It is the worst campsite I have ever been to. I will not go back.Samodejno prevedeno.Odgovorjeno od Camping Cabopino July 10, 2018The campsite is making improvements to update the toilet blocks. The opening date of block 3, after the reform, has suffered delays for reasons beyond our control.
The hot water systems suffer, especially on days of maximum occupancy, by carelessness as the simple forgetting a tap open by a child or... adult, an overload that can lead to automatically turn off the thermos. Once the problem is detected, they are restarted, but the installations, given their volume, need time to be restored.
The campsite has a permanent cleaning system, although at certain times it can lead to moments of overcrowding.
The swimming pool has a lifeguard-certified monitor who performs prevention and surveillance functions.
The circulation of vehicles within the prohibited hours is only possible in case of health emergency.
As for the music in the pool breaking the rule of silence from 00.00hrs to 00.10hrs, the monitor responsible has been warned so that it does not happen again.
We apologize for all this.
