- Hans jürgen L.June 2019PozitivnoDirectly by the sea.NegativnoFour kilometers to the Marché.Right by the seaIf you want to hear the sound of the sea at night, this is the place for you. Pitches in the shade and directly on the dune are possible in the low season. There is sand by the sea. Pitches with English lawns are not available. Dogs are not allowed on the beach, which is a good thing. If you like the... Atlantic, this is the place for you. Sanitary facilities good and clean. We don't eat in the loo at home either. We got caught in a heatwave, the sea has never been so important.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Stefan D.September 2018NegativnoNo shopping facilities on site.Everything okay, gladly again!Beautiful campsite right by the sea, behind a dune. No Schicki Mikki, toilets old but always clean, in the sanitary area no separation of male U. Shady and sunny places available. Nearest shopping facilities approx. 3 km away in Bois Plage en Re. No German-speaking staff.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Robert J.August 2016PozitivnoClose to the beachNegativnoPitchesBeach camping with minor weaknessesThe best thing first. The Plage des Gollandières is directly accessible from the campsite! The sanitary facilities were sufficient in number and were average for France in terms of size and cleanliness. The campsite is not responsible for the inability of some users to even begin to keep the facilities... clean. Some of the pitches are very small and difficult to access. There are often no partitions to the adjacent pitches. In this respect, you should make an advance booking by the 3rd week in August (unless you have your caravan flown in by helicopter) or rely on your luck. The evening entertainment never lasts long (approx. 10:30 pm) as it is almost always geared towards children. Otherwise, I found the place to be positively quiet. You can buy baked goods for breakfast in the morning (without pre-ordering) next to reception. The staff there are polite, helpful and also German-speaking (Louise). The Cap au Sud restaurant is right next to the campsite and serves good food (mussels, pizza) at a reasonable price. The island is known as a cycling paradise, which I can confirm. Many things can be reached by bike, including the Coopèrative des Vignerons de L`lle Rè (good wine at a fair price) and the market halls next to the Carrefour market in Le Bois-Plage-en-Re (world's best brioche!!!). Market there too. W-LAN was chargeable, as seems to have become the norm. All in allSamodejno prevedeno.
