"Why only these old sanitary facilities? - The huge campsite makes a very good impression from the reception to the pool area. It is therefore very surprising that no investment has been made in new sanitary facilities. The infrastructure is old and partly broken. There is a lot of cleaning, but the whole sanitary area makes a bad impression.

""Lido" - Stayed there for 4 nights in the low season. Beach easily accessible by bike. Difficult to swim in the surf. Surfing great. Large dune still accessible by normal bike (almost 30 km) Arachon too far. Camping totally full of mobile homes and rental lodges. Not quiet at night at weekends. Youth groups in the mobile homes. Military sometimes audible but not really disturbing. Place with entertainment also for small children within walking distance.

"Very large, pitches for caravans small, - We were there for two weeks at the beginning of July 2017. The site is huge and the pitches are close together when fully occupied. But it probably only gets full from the end of July. Sanitary OK and clean, but there is no toilet paper let alone hand wash basins in the toilets! There is a military area in the immediate vicinity and when we were there there was always noise pollution from helicopters, shooting practice and jets :-(. In the high season from the end of July this should no longer be the case (we were told). A positive aspect is the peace and quiet at night. Great importance is attached to this. We had problems with noisy teenagers. The problem was solved immediately by the campsite :-). The beach can be reached in five minutes by bike. It is endlessly long, very clean and beautiful. There are beautiful cycle paths in the surrounding area. If you are looking for fun and a funfair atmosphere, Biscarosse Plage has it all. Some of the stores are open until late at night and you can find everything from clothes to fresh fish. Everything is within walking distance.

Navodila

By car : From Bordeaux, go in the direction of Bayonne on the A63 motorway then the A66 towards “Bassin d’Arcachon”, “Dune du Pyla” and Biscarrosse. Take the exit marked Biscarrosse as far as Mios then the D216 towards Sanguinet …and Biscarrosse. In Biscarrosse, take the right turning off the second roundabout, towards "la Plage". The campsite is situated on the way into Biscarrosse Plage. By train : Arcachon 30 km, Ychoux 40 km. By plane : Bordeaux 80 km
