"Well-kept campsite on the outskirts of Vittel - We visited the site at the end of March right at the start of the season on our return journey from the south of France for an overnight stay. We received an incredibly friendly welcome from the owner couple. The site is just a few minutes' walk from the center of Vittels and offers everything you need. The pitches are very well maintained and spacious. The new sanitary facilities were in use but unheated, whereas the older ones were warm and still presentable. There are great cafés, restaurants and bars in the village and a small but lovely shopping area that is perfect for a stroll. Ideal for a stopover. We have fond memories of the place and will visit it again.

"Quiet campsite on the edge of a desolate village - Vittel, once a fashionable spa town, now desolate. You hardly see any young people, only old people in the middle of rows of houses, some of which are boarded up. There are hardly any restaurants open during the week, apart from the Club Méditerranée.

Profil

The spacious Seasonova de Vittel campsite is located in the famous spa town of Vittel in the Vosges. The thermal baths are just 1.5 km away and there is plenty to do in the surrounding area, especially in the field …of arts and crafts. The campsite has marked pitches. For those without their own camper van or caravan, mobile homes are available to rent on the premises. The many tall, old trees mean that the site is very shady, making it a pleasant place to be during the hot summers. Despite the site's proximity to the city, it is very quiet. However, the tall trees can interfere with satellite TV reception. The pitches are well maintained and separated from each other by low hedges. The guests come from far and wide and are mainly interested in nature and the thermal baths. Vittel is famous not only for its bottled water, which is sold in bottles all over the world, but also for the Nestlé bottling plant (near the railway station). The Thermes de Vittel, the thermal baths on Avenue Bouloumie, are also well known. Those who want to try their luck can go to the Casino de Vittel. There is plenty of beautiful nature in the area around Vittel. The most beautiful parts of the Vosges are located in the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park, a little further to the east. But you can also enjoy long bike rides through the rural surroundings in the immediate vicinity.
