Depending on the pitch you choose, you may need a very long power cable. During our several-day visit, the sanitary facilities were in clean condition. We had to get used to the lack of toilet paper and the inability to dry our hands. Access through the courtyard via a slightly sloping path to the camping meadow. Free choice of pitch on the large meadow which we found very good. Unfortunately only one electricity box, everyone who needed electricity had it but a long to very very long cable is necessary.... We see a clear need for improvement here. The sanitary facilities (you have to bring your own toilet paper), washing cubicles and showers (with a 5-minute shower token) were very clean despite the site being well-filled and were fully functional. There is a mini store at the registration desk with a very tempting fridge 😊. Be sure to order bread rolls for the next morning. In the evening there was a very relaxed and cozy atmosphere, as many cyclists (Elbe cycle path) visit this place and therefore there was quite a mixed crowd. As soon as we arrived, we went straight to the Elbe with our camping chairs and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The sanitary facilities were also very clean and adequate. The site operators and Hanno the dachshund were very friendly and accommodating. You can choose your own pitch on the large meadow. You are right on the banks of the Elbe, with a small sandy beach. The Elbtalaue biosphere region promises peace and relaxation, as well as the opportunity to observe storks,... white-tailed eagles, the red kite and so on. The sanitary facilities are fine, even our dachshund felt at home. WLAN is free, but can currently only be used in the restaurant area. There are no waste water and fresh water connections, but nobody needs them here. The peace and quiet right on the Elbe is just great. The campsite operator and his wife are really nice people who are available and approachable even after work. The sanitary building is fine. In the Kisok you get the most necessary things. There is a free... choice of pitches and you can make great excursions by bike. The campsite is really highly recommended. Also great for cyclists. Since then, a visit to Gabi and Thomas has become a tradition for us. The whole area is beautiful and quiet.
