The tourist pitch is separate from the permanent camper area and is adequately supplied with water and electricity. (Cables and water canisters help here). The sanitary facilities, laundry and scullery are older but in good condition. The water bus can be reached on foot in 10 minutes and you can be in Kiel in 30 minutes via Kielerbucht. You can also cycle parallel to the bay to Kiel.NegativnoUnfortunately, the ventilation of the sanitary facilities is a little weak, so there can be an unpleasant odorFriendly, nice and with rustic charmA place for classic campers with a desire for nature and tranquillity. The rates are also very reasonable, which you don't often find these days. It was also very quiet in the evening, which we thought was great!
Only in the sanitary facilities would a little more cleanliness... in detail be appropriate (toilets and showers clean so far, but cobwebs and many dead insects in the area of the windows do not look quite so pretty). Some of the electrics on the pitch are a bit adventurous, but everything worked.
But you have to be honest: the advantages clearly outweigh the disadvantages. Vacation where it's fun? Certainly not here.
In our opinion, the place looks unkempt and dingy, stuck in time. Rest area feeling, but nothing more. Many permanent campers, which gives the feeling of a scrapyard, the permanent campers' pitches are tinkered with and... not maintained. To restore roadworthiness Max one night ok, the site will never see us again. With an outside temperature of 11 degrees at night, the radiators in the shower are cold and the windows are open. Sanitary facilities are new and clean, but it stinks of urine from the drain when showering.
You are not supposed to use the showers after 10 pm, are we in prison?
The site is not recommended for larger motorhomes, as much of it is unpaved.
Generally not recommended. I can't understand the good reviews. Does this operator actually realize how disastrously this site is run? In my opinion, the overnight price is excessive for this poor service. Oh yes, we are still looking for the "magnificent view of the Kiel Fjord". Wonderful view of old caravans: yes.

Very nice and helpful operator.NegativnononeBeautiful place on the Kiel FjordThe campsite is located directly on the Kiel Fjord. The site is well maintained and the operator is very helpful. Unfortunately, there were still Corona-related restrictions, so unfortunately we couldn't shower in the new wash house or enjoy the gastronomy on site. But we will definitely be able to do... so again during our next stay. Kiel and the surrounding area invite you to go on excursions and you can order bread rolls for the next day at the campsite. The well-kept ground is mostly grass and the trees on the site provide good shade, some of the pitches are separated by hedges.

Dog beach very close to the place beach is ok but there is better. For excursions good possibilities in the area Sanitary are newly renovated and always clean only rinse is still housed in a not so great building. The restaurant is more of a snack bar with a great view of the water. Bread rolls for breakfast good and inexpensiveSamodejno prevedeno.

The distances to the sanitary building, which was in need of renovation, were short. You had to wash up in another building. The food in the restaurant can be described as not exactly fast food. We really liked the site and the location. The sanitary facilities, however, are borderline for our taste. The electricity billing is unfortunately not transparent either, as the meter cupboards are locked. We paid 7 Kw/h for one night and only the fridge and an LED lamp ran in the evening. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the pitches are clean, in good condition and well organized. The location is fantastic, you can reach everything by bike and also have the option of taking the ferry to Laboe or Kiel at any time. The sanitary facilities... are from the 70s but are super clean and everything works. They are closed from 10-6 pm, but if you want to brush your teeth afterwards, you can also use the washbasins in the anteroom of the toilets. After all, it's camping and not at home, right? There is plenty of hot water for showering and even if the shower heads are old, they are not calcified or broken. Just stuck in the 70s. Conclusion: We would be happy to come back at any time and can really recommend the siteSamodejno prevedeno.
