The pitches are very spacious, the sanitary facilities clean and our 2 teenagers enjoyed the indoor table tennis table and the pool table. The town is easy to reach and very beautiful. An old farm that has been converted into a very nice campsite. We received a very warm welcome. We were given an explanation of the site and what there is to see in the town. Every Wednesday in July/August there... is a flea market next to the campsite with over 160 exhibitors. Next door, chickens and sheep are kept, giving the old farm its flair. There is an entertainment room on the campsite where you can watch TV, play pool, table tennis and table football, read books or simply relax. The sanitary facilities are very clean and hot water is free. There is free WiFi throughout the campsite. The only pitches are paved.Samodejno prevedeno.
Walter C.September 2015PozitivnoVery well maintained, close to the old town.NegativnoNone worth mentioning, unless you are a dog owner.Well-kept, dog-free placeThe site is only a few minutes' walk from the old town, which is well worth seeing. Small CP with only 42 pitches. Very spacious and laid out like a park. Very well maintained. Some of the pitches are framed on 3 to 3 1/2 sides by approx. 4 meter high hedges. You can't see much and have little sun, but... it's quiet. Sanitary facilities are fine, but could be a bit tight when the pitch is full (2 x WC and 2 x shower). Only about 10 spaces for motorhomes, as the ground on the rest is very soft and wet. V+E very good. Very nice operators. Dogs are not allowed on the site. Price WoMo 2 pers. in Sept. all incl. 21 €Samodejno prevedeno.

Location: about 300 mtr from the harbor and the absolutely beautiful city center. Lidl about 400 mtr away. Also open on Sundays. Cycle path directly in front of the campsite along the Oosterschelde. Fantastic. Lots of play equipment, trampoline etc. available on the site. Chickens sheep horses rabbits on site.Samodejno prevedeno.
Werner S.September 2015PozitivnoQuiet and super clean site and sanitary facilities in a prime location under very friendly and helpful management, beautiful pitches and playgroundsNegativnoYou only have to do without a sandy beachAbsolutely recommendable campsiteVery well-kept, super clean site with very friendly and helpful operators who live on site; Mr. Kloet speaks some German and Mrs. Kloet very well; large beautiful pitches with some very high, well-kept hedges for perfect wind protection; some pitches with paved lanes for WOMOS; WIFI free of charge with... excellent reception; lounge available; Sanitary facilities with showers that have water-saving shower heads, as at so many other campsites, but there are no annoying shower machines that switch off every 2 seconds; the shower temperature can be regulated and has really hot water and not just lukewarm water as at many campsites; the only improvement would be soap at the hand basin in the toilet; was changed in 2015; driveways in the front area are all paved, therefore also dust-free and quiet; generally a very quiet place with loud friendly campers; horses, sheep and chickens are housed at the end of the very spacious grounds; far enough away from the pitches, so no noise pollution; dogs are banned on the site; everything is absolutely well maintained; the distance to the sea and the edge of town is only a few 100 meters; Zeriekzee is a nice, old town with a beautiful market square and very good restaurants; especially the "Markzicht" is highly recommended; here we had the best "Zeeland mussels" super seasoned and also the other fish dishes simply delicious; supermarkets from approx. 800 meters away (Lidl, Aldi, hardware store, sports store all available); beautiful cycle paths along the dam or into the countryside; on the trip to the old ring village "Dreischor" you pass a farmer who makes cheese and offers excellent meat from free-range bulls of an Argentinean breed; on the trip along the dam to the north you pass beautiful water areas with thousands of water birds, which offer a beautiful play of colors (see photos); we will come back next year and stay longer.Samodejno prevedeno.

Short walk to the village! Fridge-freezer accessible to everyone at all times! Shopping facilities nearby 7 days a week! Unfortunately a long way to the sandy beach! - Martin W.April 2014PozitivnoClose to the city, large pitches, very cleanNegativnoClean, but poorly equipped sanitary facilitiesVery good location, 2 min. walk to downtown Zierikzee (very nice town, everything there, both touristic and infrastructural). Also quickly at the harbor. From there, for example, very beautiful cycle paths along the Scheldt. The site itself is great. Very, very large pitches. Very well maintained, everything... spotlessly clean! There is plenty of play equipment for children (the yellow pedal cars are particularly popular!) and some animals too. Outdoor table tennis table. Lounge with various games and TV (NL channels only). WLAN free of charge. Dogs not allowed. Landlord very friendly and nice, even speaks a few words of German. No catering on site, but also not necessary, as the way to the city center is very short. Sanitary: Very clean, always cleaned. Disadvantages: Only 2 showers, these right next to toilet cubicles, fixed shower heads positioned so that not even half of the body gets wet without being moved. Hot water only at one washbasin. Water only flows from the chemical sink when you hold the push button down, and even then only at low pressure. All in all, a very good place to recommend if you don't need a beach and accept the sanitary restrictions.Samodejno prevedeno.

The sanitary building is also very clean, unfortunately a bit cold in October as it is not heated. Very nice base for exploring the surrounding villages and towns by bike, on foot or by car.
