We found the owner couple to be very friendly and helpful.
We also really liked the uncomplicated way (seat selection......).
The fact that the "vacation guests" are allowed to stand in the 1st row is also very rare 👍

We wanted to stay longer, but fled after one night. Some parts of the campsite look like they haven't cleaned up for ages. The sanitary facilities defy description. In the men's toilet there is probably the only - excuse the choice of words - "piss channel" for miles around. I don't... want to describe the stench in detail. The operator has a friendliness that is hard to put into words. I find two showers in the men's area too few.... and that the electrical cables come out of the wall and lead to the coin-operated device..... All-round perfect view - small compromises in the sanitary area, but these are not tragic. Picturesque harbor - the place is a gem. We will definitely be back as we feel at home here. The owners are nice and friendly and offer fair prices. Open ear for everything and quick help with complaints. Very good starting point for excursions, e.g. Bremerhaven can be reached perfectly by ferry.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Martina S.April 2017Overall impressionWe had booked in advance and were there at 9:00 on the day of arrival. Unfortunately they forgot to tell us in the reservation that someone would only be at the registration desk from 10:30. When someone did show up on time, we were greeted very grumpily. When she found our reservation, there was no... map/description or similar. We were told to look at the water where our place was. Because we could read. Grrrrrr something like that before coffee and breakfast. Found a spot and set up the camper van. Electricity box locked. The "nice" operator didn't have the key. Searched the campsite with a rough description of where it might be and found it. Back again to hand it in. Not a very good start. When I asked her about the sanitary facilities, she looked to the back. I refrained from asking any more questions. The toilets and showers are ok. I can't say any more about them. There is a washing-up area. Dogs are allowed, but no free-range area. Shower tokens must be purchased. 20 Euro deposit for the shower/toilet chip.Samodejno prevedeno.

- Tobias S.August 2012Beautifully situated site right on the North Sea. The sanitary facilities can be described as simple but functional, although not particularly clean. Showers with shower tokens (3 minutes 70 cents). The big problem with this site is the tone of the operators. Anyone hoping for friendly or normal treatment... will be bitterly disappointed. The lady at the "reception", i.e. at the bar in the restaurant, is not in a position to give correct information about prices, shower times or similar. If you try to intervene here, you can still get away with it if the lady simply turns around and walks away. However, she is also quick to resort to insults that are clearly personal. Too bad because the place is really nice and the small fishing harbor is pleasantly "untouristic". Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the place for the reasons mentioned above.Samodejno prevedeno.

The sanitary facilities must have been renovated because they were clean and tidy and we couldn't find any mold or similar. The view of the Weser estuary and the North Sea is magnificent. The campsite and the surrounding restaurants have... very reasonable prices. The visitor's tax is set by the municipality and is currently €2.20 per person, which is still bearable compared to other North Sea resorts.Samodejno prevedeno.- Ralf G.July 2011In our opinion, the site is perfect for a long weekend. We had a pitch by the water and therefore a wonderful view of the Weser estuary to the North Sea with plenty of space. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are no longer up to date, so a longer stay is out of the question for us. You can't win... any prizes these days with chips for showering, sparky joints and a smell straight from the cesspit. There is also no real opportunity to wash up. However, the site is occupied by a large number of permanent campers (most of whom are very nice!) who use their own sanitary facilities and therefore have their peace and quiet. The moods of the "receptionist" are not everyone's cup of tea. However, if you remain objective, take your time and don't put every remark on the gold scale, you will be well served. The actual owner is very nice and happy to help wherever he can. The location is great, you're just a few steps away from the harbor. There is a very good restaurant called Nordseeblick - definitely recommended. The small Edeka store sells fresh bread rolls and everything else you need for breakfast.Samodejno prevedeno.
