We wanted to go to the site from June 29 to 30. From the looks of it, there was plenty of space. After trying to make contact by phone several times in advance, we drove to the site without further ado. There was a cell phone number posted there. My wife asked and received the answer that they would... not accept guests for one night and referred her to the Werder motorhome site. End of story.
This site will definitely never see me again. To be told off with such a customer-unfriendly answer during the season without a shortage of space is a sign of considerable snootiness.

Beautifully situated permanent campsite
From the location on the Glindowsee, the staff and the leisure facilities a convincing place. It is easy to cycle to Werder (old town) and shopping facilities are also easily accessible by bike. For swimming you need the guest card, also no problem. The dog beach is also only accessible in this way (via... the lido, there is control, ok). The staff were very friendly, but the many permanent campers were not unpleasant. There are only a few freely selectable pitches, and you have to pay 7 euros per day for each dog. You can get to Potsdam and Berlin quickly by train (three quarters of an hour), which is worthwhile. Boat trips are possible, a good place to relax and/or be active.

Beautifully situated and very quiet
The site is beautifully situated right on the lake and close to the lovely village of Werder and Potsdam. If you're lucky, you'll get a pitch right on the water. The site is very basic but clean and the staff are friendly. For leisure activities you have to go to Werder, but there you can go boating,... eat etc... It's only 10 minutes by train to Potsdam and 45 minutes to Berlin, so the connections are good. Unfortunately, the site is almost exclusively populated by permanent campers, some of whom are very unfriendly towards day visitors, otherwise it's a beautiful site.

We were at the Glindowsee site at Easter. It's a very nice site, but more geared towards permanent campers. The positives: the site is in a really beautiful location, well maintained and very quiet. The paths are paved and clean. Really good. Very nice people on and around the site. That alone is worth... a recommendation. That really impressed us. The pitches are easy to reach and maneuver. The pitch prices are OK. The negative: the sanitary facilities are borderline. The showers are not separated from the toilets. With unclean "digestions", showering becomes a disgusting ordeal. The shower room has four shower cubicles. However, I don't think the stated shower time per brand is correct. The shower machine is not attached to the cubicles. So you have to get out of the cubicle, go around the cubicles and throw in a shower token. Who would come up with such an idea? However, the showers are quite clean. About the pitches. The electricity connection is still within an acceptable range, but the water connections are not. My 20 meter water hose did not reach the water connection. So I had to fill up the tanks with a watering can. There is a small bistro on site, but the food there was not our cup of tea. Everything is quite far away. Additional toilets and a small washing-up area are only open at "peak times". Otherwise there is only one washbasin and one toilet room for the whole site. For a campsite with a lot of permanent campers!!! What is really very, very negative to mention is that the access road to the campsite has been under construction for some time. This is expected to continue until the fall. Not every vehicle will survive the access road unscathed. Our conclusion: it is a really beautifully situated and quiet site. But if we ever go to the lake again, we probably won't visit this site again. Although the site is very quiet and the people there are very nice.

All in all a nice place. However, the lido is dirty (bird droppings) and even the campers, who already pay for the pitch, have to pay an entrance fee. Children aged 14 already count as adults here (full entrance fee). Admission very unfriendly.

Very nice campsite that offers peace and relaxation. Plus points: - friendly and helpful staff - nice bistro right on site - lido directly opposite - well-kept and quiet site - bread roll service - great links to cycle paths (a dream!) -> ideal for nature trips or excursions to Potsdam All in all, highly... recommended! However, I would deduct one point for the sanitary facilities. 4 showers, 3 washbasins - definitely not enough. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Update May 2017: We really did spend a few wonderful days here again. The site is still well maintained. The staff are very friendly and we felt very comfortable. The sanitary situation has (actually) not changed.

A small but fine site. The only problem is the layout of the pitches. When we arrived, there was still plenty of space. But over Whitsun it became very cramped and some campers had to move around. The number of showers and toilets was borderline given the high occupancy, but they were clean and tidy.
