MFGSamodejno prevedeno.- Wolfgang D.July 2021PozitivnoPeace and quiet and a view over the Oder damNegativno-Cleanliness -Access to the parking spaces -Pitches themselves for more details see detailed commentaryDoesn't work at all...This campsite is so outdated that it is only worth demolishing it and building a new one. The pitches are laid out in terraces. Electricity is taken from an old distribution box. There is no water supply or waste water disposal. You have to take the steep climb from the pitch towards the reception (a... small log cabin) and then walk to the sanitary building. It's not possible to fetch water quickly (with a jug, of course). And if the water tank is pretty empty, then have fun walking. The access road to the pitches is dilapidated, broken up and slippery. A car with a 1500 kg trailer is unlikely to manage the ascent without four-wheel drive and sufficient horsepower. Let's move on to the sanitary building. It is located in the middle of the forest on a hill (you have to walk up the stairs). The toilets are anything but attractive. The so-called restaurant and a kiosk are closed. Apparently not just since yesterday, but for several years now. Tearing down is more worthwhile here. The only nice thing about this campsite is the absolute peace and quiet and the tent pitches. They are located separately from the pitches in the forest with a partial view of the dam. Partly because here - even if it is supposed to be a nature CP - pruning is more than necessary. Access to the dam is either via the campsite or via a path down to the water. There is no sunbathing lawn or anything similar on the side of the CP. Just stones; some large, some small. So if you are looking for an adventure vacation and are traveling with a tent and don't have any demands on cleanliness or the like, this is the right place for you.

But we as: Anglers, hikers, cyclists, canoeists and permanent campers are very fond of the beautiful NATURE CAMPING PLACE and find it very nice there!
And the groundsman is a very nice, friendly and helpful person!

Only 3 of the 6 urinals still work and small children can't reach the flush at a height of 2m. Only 2 out of 5 toilets still work. Fortunately, we were alone on the campsite. The terraces for camping are unkempt and partly criss-crossed by deep tractor tracks. I couldn't see that anything had been renovated.Samodejno prevedeno.
Cora F.October 2017PozitivnoNice operator.NegativnoSanitary facilities are an imposition.Good will alone is unfortunately not enough...The location is unique and the operator is very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, that's all the positive things we can say. The sanitary facilities are a disaster, even the upper ones (a little further away) are not fully recommendable. The showers only had a thin, lukewarm jet... (I was told that the... men's showers didn't even have a lukewarm jet). We were very disappointed. The toilets right next to the café are - with all due tolerance: -unacceptable! Flushing was no fun either: the boy next door came back from flushing and told us: "Don't go there! That's disgusting!" We really tried to take the whole thing with tolerance and humor, but if you want a hot shower, it's an imposition there! The site is being rebuilt piece by piece. You can shower, they are clean but old... we have no problems with that... we love it there and the owner is a nice friendly person, always helpful and super nice. We were there last year in October and the restaurant was closed. The path to the wash house is a bit of a challenge. But the view of the reservoir is hard to beat. So if you are looking for absolute... peace and quiet and want to make a small campfire by the caravan, this is the place for you. There is no store or supermarket on the site, but you usually bring your own and if not you can shop nearby. We will definitely be back again.Samodejno prevedeno.

The food is delicious and there are homemade cakes. The campsite also offers small activities such as swimming or short boat trips. I particularly like the fact that everyone is so super friendly...both the staff and some of the permanent campers we have got to know over the years. The location there is simply indescribably beautiful and at the Glockentalhütte you have a wonderful view. We wanted to spend a weekend at this site a few weeks ago, but there was never anyone available by phone. As it's not that far away and Facebook referred to the dead spots, we simply set off on Friday.... The area is simply stunningly beautiful, even the journey there was enough to make you rave. Disillusionment followed at the campsite. Nobody was there to register us, the guests at the campsite also said "the operator was already there today, he probably won't be back until tomorrow, but just stand there". All well and good, but you need a key for the toilets, which of course you can only get from the owner. The toilets were also very far away outside the campsite, we were given the tip to drive there by car (approx. 500 m at least). Conclusion: Fantastically situated, but unfortunately lovelessly run, a lot could be done with this campsite.
