Old and too expensive
The price of €15 per person per night is too expensive for this site. Although the site is located by the lake, it is also right next to an industrial area, a brown coal mine, a brown coal power station and a busy road. Due to the mining activities, there are always unpleasant odors, some of which are... very strong. There is a charge of €4.90/day for the electricity connection. The sanitary facilities for the ladies consist of containers. The men's facilities are old and in need of renovation.

Pros: Very nice, freely selectable tent pitches, lake with access at the site Cons: The reception is probably primarily a café, so there are tables around the building for day guests and lake visitors. Unfortunately, the entrance to the ladies' sanitary facilities is right in the middle of these cafe... tables. Which may just about work during the day. In the evening, I don't want to send my daughter through there alone. There's also music blaring all day long (you can't hear it depending on how far away you are from the pitch). The sanitary facilities are not supposed to be, but are still used by visitors to the lake. Far too few toilets and showers, outdated, sometimes unclean. In addition, there is a large factory (paper?) in the immediate vicinity, from where, depending on the wind direction, a bad smell wafts over the site.

We were in Velenje at the beginning of May, but only for one night on our way back to Ö. We were the only guests - the site only opened at the beginning of May. The toilet facilities are old but clean. The reception and cafe are being rebuilt and should open at the beginning of the season. The site is... quiet and right on the lake. Ideal for swimmers and anglers - if the weather is right. Unfortunately it was quite cold at the beginning of May. But there is the Topolsica thermal spa nearby - you can swim and have a spa treatment there even in bad weather. The staff are very friendly and helpful and provided us with all the information we needed. It is now being renovated, unfortunately the previous owner did nothing more. We will definitely be back - it's a beautiful area.

everything within 10 minutes walking distance.
New on the rise
Super friendly staff, plenty of shade, is on the up-and-coming branch, there is still a lot of rebuilding going on, totally quiet and lush green meadows, great water, and enough leisure activities, live music in the evening with DJ, culinary delights are not neglected. really a beautiful facility should be promoted to become even better.

This campsite is the purest disaster. Sanitary dirty , unkempt place , unfriendly staff . Not recommended.
