- Ariane K.August 2019NegativnoMosquitoes Stench Long distancesNever againA much too large campsite that stinks extremely of dog urine in many places (unfortunately also on our pitch - we had the feeling of camping in a tiger cage :-( ...) The beach is still extremely crowded for the end of August. And you have to walk a long way. From 7 p.m. you have to flee inside because... everything is full of mosquitoes. I've never experienced anything like it. Walking to the showers is like running the gauntlet :-( The worst place in many years of camping 😕Samodejno prevedeno.
- Michael S.August 2019PozitivnoLocation directly by the sea and close to the village.NegativnoToo expensive for the service. Smell of sewage. Incomprehensible system for allocating pitches for motorhomes.Chaotic allocation of parking spacesWe had a very bad experience with the allocation of pitches for motorhomes. For the first night, we had to stay on a pitch without electricity as all pitches with electricity were supposedly allocated, but this was not the case. The pitch was right next to a wash house and it smelled terribly of sewage.... All for 28 euros a night. The next day, we only managed to move to a pitch with electricity after intensive discussions and showing pictures of free pitches with electricity on our cell phones. The explanations and reasons given by the staff at reception were incomprehensible, or at least not comprehensible.Samodejno prevedeno.

- Thomas F.March 2019PozitivnoNatural space where not every detail is regulated.NegativnoMosquitoes! We took refuge in the vehicle in the evening back in March.Large pitch right by the sea, but without a sea viewWe were surprised that the campsite was already open, even at the end of March. But the occupancy rate was such that this seemed justified. All in all, it's a typical French campsite, which in high season mutates into a vacation resort offering the full program. In the low season, however, it is very quiet and the sanitary facilities are only partially open. And then, of course, without an entertainment program.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Manuela A.September 2017PozitivnoClose to the beach and the town, the showers had a mega jet, which was really great!Negativnomessy, sinks were disgusting, corridor to the toilet was not illuminatedChaoticWe were there spontaneously for 2 nights, we found it very chaotic. As there wasn't that much going on (off-season) we were able to choose a pitch on 2 field strips, because of the few bushes or boundaries all the camper vans were standing all over the place. The paths to the san houses were ok, but... not properly lit. There was toilet paper, but it was always empty, as it had to be collected at the toilet entrance. In front of the ladies' toilets there were 2 open basins for disposing of the cassette toilets, I would really prefer a different solution. The sinks were very outdated and therefore looked bad. The sea was easy to reach and so was the beach ;) The town was also easy to reach on foot or by bike.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Uta E.August 2017PozitivnoGreat sandy beach, 10 min walk to the spacious dog beachNegativnoClose to the sewage treatment plant, lots of mechanical noise, little shade in placesLarge site right by the sea with a beautiful dog beachThe location on the Mediterranean is just great, in the middle of the Camargue! The site is quite large and the pitches are spacious. However, only some of them are separated by hedges.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Andreas und Petra S.May 2017PozitivnoProximity to the town of Saintes-Maries-de-la-MerNegativnoLong distances on the pitchHuge facility with around 1000 parking spaces!About 100m from the water as the crow flies, but without a sea view. The pitch is divided into 8 sections, each with its own wash house. The wash houses have toilets without glasses, paper is hung in the vestibule. The pitches are generously sized and the surface is grass with patches of bare ground... due to use. At the beginning of May, the site was approximately 15% full and correspondingly quiet. In the evening, despite 23° around 8 pm, the guests disappeared into their mobile homes etc. because small flies and mosquitoes became unbearable in almost calm conditions. Unfortunately, barbecues are only permitted in the designated areas. Free WiFi is available in the reception area. The campsite borders directly on the town of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. Everything is within walking distance and there are many cozy little restaurants. At the beginning of May, we paid 26.50 for a mobile home with 2 people and electricity, plus 5.50 per dog.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Peter R.April 2017PozitivnoLocation, town with many stores and small restaurants, magnificent surrounding countryside (horses, bulls, flamingos), beautiful beach;NegativnoNot everything usable at Easter (no swimming pool, limited facilities on site - but bread!, sanitary facilities); mosquitoes; windIn the middle of the CarmargueVery nicely located site which is fun in the Easter period as it is not too crowded. Directly on the sea, close to the city and a great location for discovering the CarmargueSamodejno prevedeno.
- Thomas E.October 2016PozitivnoLocation, large pitches, bread roll service,NegativnowindyBeautiful place by the seaThe site is very large. Not much going on in the off-season. Sand and grass surface. It was very windy most of the time. And as soon as the wind was gone, the mosquitoes came. The site is on the edge of the village, everything is within easy reach on foot or by bike. Really a beautiful site (almost) right by the sea.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Stefan K.August 2016PozitivnoLocationNegativnoSanitaryGood locationSanitary facilities are getting on in years and not very appealing. Pool area also not so cozy. As often in France very restrictive. Was extremely windy and the sea was freezing coldSamodejno prevedeno.
- Heiner M.March 2016PozitivnoClose to the Camargue nature reserve and the village. Many placesNegativnoShowers too hot!!!Beautiful, large space! We were here over Easter. Busy arrival and departure traffic but enough space. Well suited for excursions or horseback riding in the Camargue. St. Maries de le Mer is also interesting and worth seeing. Especially the events in the arena were great, good shopping possibilities. The showers are too hot and cannot be regulated.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Maria O.August 2015PozitivnoLocation.NegativnoLack of shade and cleanliness of toilets.MolochVery large campsite with a small number of trees on the seashore, full infrastructure.Great base for exploring the Rhône floodplains.Close to the city center.Internet available at the reception. For a tent , car and 2 people we paid 24,80 euros.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Lars F.June 2015NegativnoMosquitoes, really lots of mosquitoesUnbearable when there is no wind, but a beautiful placeThe site is beautifully situated on the edge of Saintes-Maries, is quite large and offers everything for a family vacation: sea, sand, pool, playgrounds and a good infrastructure, but I'm trying to be as objective as possible. When we arrived in the late afternoon, we wondered why no one was sitting... in front of his in the beautiful weather. As I tried to set up my butterfly I realized it was windless and I was being attacked by myriads (yes I think it was tens of thousands) of mosquitoes, we saved the kids by locking them in the bike trailer with mosquito netting. After friendly neighbors gave us the tip not to camp right next to the hedges, we changed places again, but without success. We tried to relax at the campsite's lovely pool. Back at the Falter, however, it was once again unbearable, even the 4-metre high mosquito bugs scattered around the site couldn't provide any significant relief. It was the only time in 3 months that we had to check out at reception at 8:00 in the morning and we left the site in a hurry. Conclusion: You can have a great beach vacation there, but only when it's windy. (We were asked for days whether our children had chickenpox) We now only refer to the place as Saintes-Maries-dl-la-MustiqueSamodejno prevedeno.
- Uli R.June 2015PozitivnoLocationNegativnoCleanliness, gnats.Snakes!Infernal mosquito attacks in June 2015. The UV lights are well-intentioned. The place is not suitable for someone who reacts intensely to bites.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Erich A.June 2015PozitivnoBeach / PlaceNegativnounkemptbeautifully situated directly at the nature reserve...Super location by the sea and not far from the village. Ideal for exploring the Camarque nature reserve. Long, secluded sandy beaches within easy reach. A beautiful (dog) beach with 2 nice beach restaurants right next to the campsite. The camping gate to the beach is unfortunately only open from 08:00 to 20:00! Unfortunately, the site is unkempt, but still quite ok and recommended. Don't forget mosquito repellent.Samodejno prevedeno.
- corinne a.June 2015Pozitivnosea access, swimming poolNegativnopitches not maintained at all!a lot of complacencyAlready: poor reception, unfriendly staff, anarchic pitch, unkempt campsite. PREVENT a strong mosquito repellent.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Heidi S.March 2015PozitivnoUncomplicated staff, good location, right by the sea! Lots of space in the mobile homes for rent!NegativnoI could imagine that there is no peace and quiet in the high season. So far I am delighted with Camping la Brise, friendly staff!Low season: always friendly, courteous staff. Mobile home in clean condition. Plenty of shopping facilities in the area. If you go on vacation in the Camargue you have to reckon with the mistral and sand as well as the occasional smells! I am very satisfied with this campsite *** stars are justified.Samodejno prevedeno.
- G. B.December 2014PozitivnoGood location in winter for dog owners.NegativnoRude staff. Is okayWe have now been there 3 times over Christmas. Nice place with good opportunities to walk a dog. However, the staff are getting rude. They just know that they are the only ones open. Even before they were not shining with politeness, but now it was too much. So it was not possible for friends with dogs... in the car to drive on the square to have a coffee. We were offered €5 to take the car with the dogs onto the pitch for an hour. The staff wanted to charge the full overnight price for this. This was the last time we went there,Samodejno prevedeno.
- Ivana P.September 2014PozitivnoLocation, camping facilitiesNegativnoSmall local shop equipmentI liked the camp very much, I didn't have any negative experiences. We stayed in a mobile home that was adequately equipped with everything we needed, including toilet facilities and a kitchen for cooking. The location of the campsite seems ideal to me. The beach can be reached by a separate entrance in a few minutes, the town of Saintes Maries de la Mer is also a short... walk away and we could watch the flamingos right from the beach. The campsite is decently equipped, there is a swimming pool for both adults and children, there are new rope climbing frames for children and also fitness machines for active visitors. There are pink-pong tables and a ball game area. We were concerned about mosquitoes, but I guess we lucked out with the weather and I only saw one mosquito the whole time. I rate the campground positively and would love to visit this place again.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Guntram H.September 2014PozitivnoIdeal location on the edge of the nature park. Small town within walking distance.Place with good French standardAnother stay in September 2014 and we still find the place averagely good. The small market provides the essentials. Nothing more is needed, as there is a supermarket nearby and the town is not far away either. The pool area has been slightly extended and there is also a new outdoor fitness park. This... time small ants were a bit of a nuisance, but we also managed to get this problem under control.\_\_\_\_\_We stayed on this site again from 3-5 June 2012. On the whole, our following description remains true!!!\_\_\_\_\_\_June 2011: A huge site with well over 1000 very large pitches. Sections are divided by hedges, shrubs and small trees. The ground is sandy and relatively uneven. In the low season, only 2 sectors with a sanitary building were open, but this was sufficient. There was always plenty of hot water, clean but a little worn. Separation of the sexes, which is not a matter of course on French campsites. The small store was sufficient in our time. However, we can't imagine that you can serve the whole site with it in the high season. There are few camping options in the Camargue and this site is in a very strategic location. The town of Stes Maries de la Mer is within walking distance, the beach is right on the doorstep and the heartland of the Camargue also begins at the site boundaries. The site also has 2 very nice swimming pools with a slide for the children. Free Wi-Fi is available in the immediate vicinity of reception. English is reasonably spoken at reception - no German --- Oh, one more thing: the mistral from the Rhone valley can last for several days and can also be violent. The fact that there is "flying" sand and awnings have to be retracted as a result cannot be held against the campsite. The fact that there are lots of mosquitoes and other insects on the edge of a swamp and marshland is probably not the site's fault either.Samodejno prevedeno.
