"A little off the beaten track - The campsite is located a few kilometers outside of Guerande. However, you can quickly reach the town and the salt fields by car or bike. You have to speak French to make yourself understood at reception. German or English won't get you far here. Unfortunately, in the low season there is only a bread roll service at weekends, when the mobile homes are also occupied. So you have to drive into town or eat bread from the previous day for breakfast. The sanitary facilities are as good as new, spacious and very clean. Unfortunately, they are open-plan. In the low season, it can get quite chilly in the shower when it's 15 degrees outside. The town of Guerande and the surrounding salt fields are definitely worth a visit. In the nearby salt cooperative, you can learn lots of interesting facts about salt production, even in German.

"Clean, Friendly and Well-Located - This is one of the best campsites we have ever visited. The owners made us very welcome and were very informative about the tourist options in the locality. It is immaculately clean and we strongly recommend it.

"Well-kept pitch with little shade - The campsite is located a few kilometers from Guerande, within earshot of a busy road during the day. The medieval town, the salt fields and the coast are easily accessible via well-maintained cycle paths. The new sanitary block is large enough and always clean. The operators are very friendly and helpful.

" - Mooie, rustige even buiten Guérande, niet al te grote camping (ca. 100 pl. inclusief zo'n 30 vaste plaatsen met mobilhomes de meeste voor de verhuur. Diverse smaller speelvoorzieningen voor de jeugdigen.Schaduw- en niet schaduwrijke plaatsen (ca. 100m2). Schitterend, vrijwel nieuw, sanitairgebouw met alle voorzieningen en zeer vriendelijke eigenaren met de nodige tips en info voor tochten per fiets of auto. Brood- and small imbis-service at the campsite. From the camping you can walk and cycle to the coast and / or nearby places and beaches (e.g. La Baule with its 9 km long largest European boulevard and beach, Le Croisic, where even a TGV train stops (!), Pénistine, Batz-sur-Mer, Piriac-sur-Mer and furthermore the beautiful outlying places of Guérande near the coast. Cultuur en landschap zijn in volle omvang aanwezig in de buurt (o.a. de citadel van Guérande zelf). The area is well served by topographical maps and maps of the area (available from the Guérande Tourist Office) and cycling is easy, but there are some steep up and downhill stretches. In het stadje Guérande zijn alle voorzieningen beschikbaar (o.a. de nieuwe/grootste Leclerc-vestiging van Frankrijk). Camping is ook in het hoogseizoen lang niet vol bezet en het is er rustig, overdag en 's avonds. Reservations: see website-camping (o.a. plattegrond ). Kortom, een camping (3 *) én omgeving om zeker nog eens terug te gaan.

Profil

In the south of Brittany, between Vannes and Nantes, lies the La Fontaine campsite. This quiet family campsite near the village of Guérande has spacious pitches laid out on a well-kept campsite site. Both the heated swimming pool and the …modern sanitary facilities have been recently built. The surrounding area is mostly flat and therefore suitable for long cycling trips. Shady campsite The La Fontaine campsite is quiet and green. The spacious pitches are laid out on well-maintained and levelled lawns. You can choose between a marked-out pitch between hedges or a shady spot under the trees in the large camping area. For children La Fontaine is a great campsite for families with children. There is a heated outdoor swimming pool with a separate paddling pool. There are comfortable sun loungers all around, so you can keep an eye on the little ones from your comfy chair. The swimming pool is only a few years old and is very well maintained. In addition to the swimming pool, the children can have fun in the playground or on the bouncy castle. In high season, the campsite also has an animation programme. Bread at the campsite If you camp at camping La Fontaine in July or August, you don't really need to leave the campsite. During these months you can get fresh bread at the reception every morning. The bar and snack bar are also open then. There are also take-away meals. In the early and late season, you have to go to Guérande more often. There you will find bakeries, supermarkets and restaurants.
