"Wonderful quiet place - Can only agree with Klaus T. - a wonderful place. Large pitches, everything from shady to almost sunny. Everything is very well maintained, right down to the waste station. Sanitary facilities excellent, toilets with glasses and paper, soap and paper towels. Good washing machine. Beautifully planted with a colorful mix of trees and hedges. Sufficient water dispensers. Electricity may need a slightly longer cable. Bread service only in July/August. But just 3 km away in Ferel there is a great boulangerie and next to it a small proxy market where you can get almost everything you need. If you really want to shop in a large supermarket, there is one a good 5 km away. You can go for a nice walk with your dog directly from the campsite in the Villaine hinterland or along the same. Very empty at this time of year and wonderfully relaxed, as you know and love it from France. Super friendly staff. The only thing that detracted from our enjoyment were the mosquitoes, but this was probably due to the weather and is not always the case. For us anyway, a place 100% to our taste :-)

"Campsite in a rural setting - A campsite for all campers looking for peace and relaxation. No entertainment! The large grass pitches are mainly semi-shaded and parceled out by hedges. The entire campsite makes a very well-kept and landscaped impression. The sanitary building is in very good condition and is cleaned several times a day. Even toilet paper and liquid soap are available. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer. A hiking trail leads directly from the campsite to the River Vilaine, 800 meters away. There are other hiking trails and cycle paths in the beautiful rural surroundings.

"Super quiet campsite with large pitches - The campsite is situated 35 m above the sea and 500 m from the harbor of the dammed river. Slightly sloping meadow with pitches of 150-250 m², bordered by hedges and small trees to provide shade and sun. Approx. 70 transit pitches and some rental accommodation. Very nice operator couple who take great care of the site. Bread service from 8:30 in the morning. Sanitary facilities tip-top. Showers and hot water included, washing machine (coins) and freezer (free of charge) are available. A little too few toilets - but some are still to be built. Very quiet location, surrounded only by fields. Good hiking and cycling opportunities from the site. Coast approx. 10 km away, cycle paths well signposted. Small playground available on the site

"Beautiful place with large pitches - Very nice place, very quiet location, very nice operator family, bread service, simple but very clean sanitary buildings even in high season, large pitches, shopping facilities in Ferel or Penestin, accessible by bike.

Profil

Les Rives de Vilaine campsite is located in the village of Férel on the banks of the Vilaine River. You'll camp here a stone's throw from the sea. This family-friendly campsite is a perfect choice for a holiday with family …or friends. Cycling, kayaking, swimming, reading on the beach, hiking or taking in some culture are just some of the things to do during your stay in the south of Brittany. Flowery campsite The peaceful Les Rives de Vilaine campsite is set in a wooded and flowery park and is fully fenced. The site is a few kilometres from the fantastic sandy beaches of Mine d'Or (Pénestin) and Le Remblais (La Baule). Make the campsite your base for exploring the south of Brittany and the Guérande peninsula. Spacious pitches The pitches can be described as spacious, with an area of 100-150 m². They are all equipped with a 10A connection and are never far from one of the many water points and sanitary and service buildings. The pitches are separated by low hedges and tall trees provide shade. Book accommodation Various mobile homes for a maximum of six people can be rented at Les Rives de Vilaine campsite. All mobile homes are fully equipped with kitchen, shower/WC, TV and electric heating. Bungalow tents for a maximum of five people can also be rented. Clean sanitary facilities The two sanitary buildings each have three showers and toilets. These are kept clean in an exemplary manner.
