"Modrin - The pitch right on the lake was great. Unfortunately our neighbors were barbecuing with an open fire and chopping wood from Thursday to Sunday and all the smoke drifted onto the pitch. There was no staff to clarify the situation for 4 days and a sign with a fire ban was right next to it!!! I am also not a fan of paying for the pitch on arrival!!!! Burgers were good and the price was ok.

"Very large, unfortunately also very expensive space - At peak travel time - vacations in the Czech Republic too - the site was very full (our preferred site in Frymburk was overcrowded) the "signposting" of the pitch was unclear, so that we had to move again shortly after setting up because we were too far away from the neighboring pitch (was not visible on the plan). In the 2nd row by the lake, we had a view of the lake from the side and motorhomes in front of us. There is no store on the site, but it is easy to reach by bike in 600m, in the middle of the Lipno Modrin vacation paradise, so it is very busy. The site is an uneven meadow with few trees, but many different pitches and categories. Next to us were "wagon castles" with families and lots of children, the noise level was kept within limits. However, from around 8pm, the nearby Lipno center resounded across the lake at disco volume - until 10pm. The outdated sanitary facilities were uncomfortable and uninviting. Showers too small and in need of renovation. Toilets too. The grill restaurant offers the opportunity to have a picnic, even outside opening hours. The burger was delicious. The biggest drawback was the exorbitant price. We paid 4590czk = approx. 190.-€ for 3 nights Too bad, you can make very nice bike tours and excursions in the area, the Bohemian Forest in this area is wonderful. But we certainly won't be going there again.

"Rating - Sanitary facilities are getting on in years, washing station (dishes) a disaster for this size of campsite, open fireplaces (charcoal grill) in the middle of the campsite......es one's motorhome is smoked through

"Good campsite - We had a great week here in high season. Nevertheless, it didn't feel crowded. The campsite has everything you need. The various sports facilities are also great. The only thing is that there is no small grocery store. There is a good overall tourist concept in the village. The main points of criticism from the last reviews no longer exist: -There is plenty of toilet paper in every cabin -there is a chip for the hot water, you just always have to press an extra button for it -the staff make an effort to speak German or English -there is a lot of information material in German and English

"Great places on the shore - We were delighted with the great location of the extremely spacious pitches close to the lake. Sanitary facilities partly newly built. Unfortunately very inconsiderate and loud neighbors who partied all night long. Unfortunately no one was there to ensure peace and quiet.

"Friendliness - The place is spacious, many playgrounds for children. But unfortunately there is a lack of willingness to speak a foreign language, especially at reception. There is also a lack of information material in German.

Profil

Camping Lipno Modřín is a modern campsite for motorhomes, caravans and tents located right by the Lipno Lake. There are over 200 electrified pitches and also yurts for 4 people with beds and basic kitchen equipment. The campsite is located …close to the centre of Lipno nad Vltavou and is bordered by the illuminated Lakeside Cycle/Inline Trail. It has its own pebble beach with a water rescue station, a fishing bay, a sports area (artificial surface playground, beach volleyball, table tennis, pétanque, mini golf) and a playground for children. The campsite includes the Grill Modřín restaurant, a mobile bakery visits the campsite during the high season and the nearby grocery shop Coop is available 24 hours a day. Entertainment is provided by the mascot Fox, who organises daily animation programmes during the high season. Lipno nad Vltavou offers a wide range of outdoor and indoor leisure activities. A popular stroll is the Treetop Walk, children can enjoy the outdoor playground called the Forest Kingdom. Nearby are the Lipno Bikepark, the family Singletrack, the Rope Park, the Bobsled Track, the indoor playground Hopsarium and the water paradise Aquaworld. In the INTERSPORT Rental you can rent mountain and trekking bikes, electric bikes, scooters, in-line skates, electric boats, sailboats, paddleboards or pedal boats. Guests staying at the campsite receive many benefits for their stay. One of them is the Lipno Guest Card, packed with special discounts on Lipno activities. Each guest of the campsite is also entitled to 1 hour in Aquaworld Lipno free of charge for each night of stay. If you stay for 4 nights or more, you will also receive a free ticket to the Forest Kingdom or the Treetop Walk.
