This year, everyone was squeezed together, no one showed any consideration for their neighbors, dogs were constantly running free in front of our... caravan and there was no peace and quiet at night. As the alcohol consumption increased, the level dropped, including loud burping. We also had plenty of space with our caravan. There is a playground but it is too difficult for smaller children. But our children still had fun. It is somehow stuck in the GDR era. Lots of permanent campers and little interest in doing... anything with the site. The sanitary facilities are a disaster. Probably not cleaned regularly. There was also no residual waste container. Stupid if you want to dispose of diapers. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Ostalgie in its purest formSamodejno prevedeno.

The site was ideal for them - close to nature, playground within sight. You can also get to Leipzig very quickly by car. I actually like such simple places, but the sanitary facilities are absolutely out of date, and at the time of our stay they were also partly... open to the public due to an event on site (which is not necessarily conducive to cleanliness). I attribute the somewhat chaotic "check in" on our arrival to the aforementioned event - contact with the operator was otherwise nice and friendly. Apart from the location and the friendliness of the site manager, everything leaves a lot to be desired. The sanitary facilities have probably not been renovated for 30 years. There are caravans on this site that are in an absolutely... poor and run-down condition, the access roads are not paths but resemble a field of rubble. Washed out and lots of thick stones make driving on the site almost impossible. Whether you were there in April or June, lawn was not recognizable, because the weeds had its height, price performance are out of proportion.Samodejno prevedeno.

Above all, the sanitary facilities need to be modernized.Good for short breaks in the Leipzig areaI can't share every aspect of the previous positive reviews. Nice location, very friendly staff. However, sometimes you get the impression that time has stood still. The sanitary facilities exude the charm of the 60s/70s and were obviously not cleaned during the 4 days of our stay. Shower rooms not heated... throughout and at night temperatures around 0 degrees. When we asked about this, we were told: "If you want to shower in the evening, you have to turn on the heating an hour beforehand." I can only hope that this will improve during the season (we were there at the end of April).Samodejno prevedeno.

We were there for 4 days with 2 grandchildren (3 + 4yo). We liked it very much, because we always had the children playing and swimming in the eye and still with a fantastic view of the lake! - Detlef Z.September 2013For my visit to Leipzig at the beginning of the 2nd week in September, I chose the "Lübschützer Teiche" campsite, which is about 27 km from Leipzig near the town of Machern. A friendly welcome from the manager, who also allocated an (extra straight) pitch and took care of the power supply. The distribution... box is otherwise locked. Electricity is a flat rate of Euro 2.00/night. Tents can also be pitched between the trees in the beautiful birch grove. In addition to the administration building, where the manager lives, there is a kiosk and a restaurant on the site, but as a self-caterer I can't say anything about the quality and quantity. The lake (fish pond) is also visited by day visitors during the bathing season. The sanitary facilities were clean and functional, they could be modernized, but they don't have to be. Shower token Euro 1,- . You get a key for the sanitary facilities, which then fits the men and women. (Euro 5,- deposit). The entrance barrier opens with a card, which costs Euro 13,- if lost. The barrier opens automatically when you leave. Alternatively, you can park your car on the parking strip not far from the camping meadow outside. Overall, it is a very nice place, at least during the day. Why? Leipzig-Halle Airport is about 30 km away. DHL, for example, has its European freight distributor here. The airport has no night flight ban. From about 10 p.m. onwards, a plane can be heard extensively every 20 - 30 minutes until about 6 a.m. Conclusion: The aircraft noise at night is the only reason why I am very unlikely to return. Too bad about this beautiful place.Samodejno prevedeno.

We had a great pitch with a view of the lake, the very nice campsite warden put bread rolls in front of the caravan in the morning and always turned on the heating in the bathroom at 7am, we were the only guests. The sanitary facilities are very basic, many of the huts around the site are quite dilapidated. Nevertheless recommendedSamodejno prevedeno.
Johann G.October 2010We arrived too late due to traffic jams and roadworks. On the access road we were stopped by a driver who then phoned the groundsman. He was already waiting for us in front of the open barrier and directed us straight to the pitch, helped us connect the electricity and told us that we would register... the next day. In the evening we parked in front of the barrier, because we always arrived late in the evening and still only had a few meters to the caravan. Original text from the groundsman: You can leave your car there, nothing will happen, I'm ALWAYS there! Sanitary facilities very basic in old containers but clean and functional. Fresh bread rolls in the small store. Very nice and quiet location next to several fish ponds. Only a few meters to the pond with swimming area.Samodejno prevedeno.
