The sanitary facilities are clean and OK. Washing machine and tumble dryer are used diligently. 3-minute showers cost an extra half a franc.
Beautiful bike tours on cycle paths are possible from here. I can really only say good things about the hosts Maria and Alberto. They make everything possible for the guests. The campsite has a simple restaurant that serves very tasty food that Erika prepares excellently.
The sanitary facilities are always tiptop... clean.
There is a large tent meadow directly on the lake for small to large tents.
There are plenty of shops in Maur and Fällanden, and you can also buy the essentials from Maria on site.
E-bikes can also be hired.

The Maurholz campsite has new management this season - Alberto and Maria Palermo. With them, humanity, friendliness and togetherness have returned to the site after a long time. They are very friendly and helpful.... The restaurant is professionally run. There are delicious snacks and dishes at very fair family-friendly prices. After the dictatorship and oppression came to an end last year, the government has changed. We were once again greeted lovingly and courteously with excellent service. It is a real family atmosphere, just as every camper and visitor would wish for. All the best and much success to the new groundsman couple. The pitches are relatively small, the car has to be parked in a separate parking lot. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but were always clean. Showers cost 1/2 franc... :( The staff were very friendly, both on arrival and departure and during our stay.Samodejno prevedeno.

It is an ideal starting point for bike rides and hikes around the beautiful Greifensee. The motorhomes and campers are very close together on a gravel parking lot. The tents are fully exposed to prying eyes and stand in the blazing sun. There is no tree to provide shade. Charging frs 3.50 for the dog when there's not even the smallest poop bag available, nor a garbage can for disposing of droppings, also irritates me. Showers very old and for 3 min. shower is also charged -.50Rp. Petty! Our son played with the gravel in front of the... caravan. We were then asked to "put all the stones back in their place"! It could hardly be more child-unfriendly! We felt like we were in the military! Luckily we were only there for a few days. But you don't have to be surprised when the guests stay away.
