Electricity €5.60 per day is a real cheek. 2.10€ for a shower token but 6 minutes, whereby it takes 1-2 minutes until it gets warm. From small plots (where there is just enough space for the caravan and the car, but then there is no more space to sit outside with chairs or to open the door of the caravan safely), to absolutely underground sanitary facilities (where hot water is a matter... of luck despite 2,20 per coin is a matter of luck and the time where it is warm is hardly enough and all hooks and toilet lids are broken or dismantled), distances to the power box where a 25m cable drum is not enough, to the hot water for washing up for a fee or the questionable refusal of the sales clerk to pay the deposit for empty bottles ("we don't do that")...
Only the good-humored staff at the reception, the acceptable quality of the snack bar and the proximity to Munich can be rated as positive. Then the man at reception was very relaxed for the many impatient guests, made a mistake here and there and asked again from the... beginning and there is no such thing as a site plan either. Then we were allowed to look for a place ourselves in a meadow where there was virtually no more space, we wanted electricity, he said "yes, I don't think we have anything with electricity", but booked electricity anyway and we could just look for it ourselves... (the website says: we have enough space and that's why you can't make a reservation, it would have been less stressful for us in any case).Samodejno prevedeno.

There are water taps at the campsite, but they are not working - you have to pay for water at the only place in the campsite. The facilities on the campsite are an imposition. There were no toilet seats in the men's toilets. The urinals did not flush. One sanitary block is completely closed and apparently serves as a bulky waste collection point. If you... come with a tent and are dependent on the sanitary facilities, you need strong nerves. The site itself would be a gem if at least the sanitary facilities were clean and modern. Unfortunately, there is a lack of both, plus a charge of €1.90 for hot water in the shower, which is far too... small and calcified. On the plus side, there is a direct connection to the Isar cycle path and a bus to the nearest subway station stops right outside the door. The kiosk fits in with the sanitary facilities, absolutely poorly stocked and lousy opening hours (7am-12pm). The campsite itself has absolute potential - very well located, spacious, plenty of room, not very crowded (certainly due to the pandemic circumstances), but even if there had been twice as many... visitors, you could have avoided each other. The Isar right next door, some of the pitches even with a view of the Isar, but were then too shady (and cool) for us, but we could easily switch to a sunnier pitch. Bus stop right in front of the square, to the subway in a few minutes by bus, on foot about 15 minutes, zoo also right next door. Wonderful for cycling, you don't even notice the proximity to Munich, you are very quickly in the middle of the countryside, Schäftlarn Monastery sends its regards. Several beer gardens nearby, supermarkets at the subway station. So far - so good... the sanitary buildings are probably quite old, which is not a problem in itself - but you get the impression that there hasn't been any investment for a long time. A shower token for 1.90 euros!!! (for 8 minutes) And then the showers don't work properly, no adjustable head, the jet is more like a pressure washer, and the water is aimed directly at the back wall - still manageable for a bald guy like me, but someone with a lot of hair really has a problem. The whole place doesn't look very inviting either, most of the toilets don't have folding seats, washbasins without hot water look more like a laundry room and there was no way to dry your hands. But soap and disinfectant were available. Ignorant cleaning staff - without a mask (although mandatory), a toilet flush was hanging (water was constantly running), didn't bother the lady - so I hit the flush button lightly and everything was fine. The automatic flushing machines were probably defective due to a lightning strike...Samodejno prevedeno.

This site lives from its absolutely fantastic location in the heart of Munich. To explore the city, it doesn't get any better than this. Everything else is practical, but nothing more. The campsite does not invite you to spend your... vacation at the site. The grounds would have to be significantly improved for this. The sanitary building was clean. So please refurbish and renovate!Where there is a will, there ...As I was told, the responsibility for the campsite lies in the hands of the city with a heart "Munich". It's worth questioning whether the sanitary facilities shouldn't have been renovated some time ago. After all, the entire site really is located in a beautiful area. You can reach Hellabrunn Zoo in ten minutes by bike, always along the Isar floodplains. Another ten minutes and you are right in the center... or at the Deutsches Museum. In bad weather you can get from the campsite to the center in about 30 minutes (bus line135 from the campsite entrance to Thalkirchen subway station, then with U3/U6) Gastronomy was closed during our stay - therefore no rating possible. Reception staff very friendly. Only the sanitary facilities spoil the picture (very outdated, but still relatively clean) Overall an ideal starting point for visits to Munich.Samodejno prevedeno.

No site planCampsite to get used toFor the fact that you get disgusted in the toilets and showers and if you don't find out for yourself that you need shower coins, you have to shower with ice but really ice-cold water without a shower coin... way too expensive! 42€ for one night for four people in a caravan! The pitch, there is no site... plan, it said "choose a nice spot!" Found a free space, then came the search for the power box! There is just enough space for the car next to the caravan! No breakfast in the open air... Our opinion: A CAMPING PLACE TO WITHDRAW YOURSELF FROM CAMPING! Never ever go there!Samodejno prevedeno.
