"sehr schöner sauberer Campingplatz - Gesamthaft ein toller Campingplatz mit schöner Lage am See. Freundlich und familiär geführt mit schönen Rasenplätzen.

"Ganz OK für ein paar Tage - Platz liegt direkt am See.Sanitäranlagen sauber und neuer.Besser als meist in Italien.Allerdings kein Toilettenpapier in den Klos.Und duschen kostet 1€!Ausserdem werden die Wohnwagen,Womos und Zelte durcheinander gestellt,sodass es ziemlich wirr wirkt.

"super Platz in atemberaubender Lage - Toller Platz in allerbester Lage, super hilfsbereites Personal, man wird zum Platz begleitet. Passt alles. Die Sanitäranlagen sind 6 Jahre als und sehen aus wie nagelneu. Alles extrem gepflegt. Einfach Super!

"guter Platz am Comer See - Kleiner aber im Sommer lebhafter Campingplatz. Von Holländern und Schweizern dominiert. Der Platz hat drei Zugänge zum See, die Nachts verschlossen werden, so dass man keine Angst um sein Schlauchboot haben muss. Wir hatten leider einen Platz direkt an der nördlichen Grenze, an dem Dauercamper vom Nachbarcampingplatz mit Null Meter Abstand direkt angrenzen. Brandschutz? Viele kostenpflichtige Extras: - Wlan kostet extra und ist sehr langsam und kaum zu gebrauchen. - Klopapier muss man selbst mitbringen. - Duschmarken für 1 Euro für 4 Minuten duschen Ruhe kommt kaum auf durch irgend welche LKWs die ständig auch auf Nachbarplatz Müllcontainer, Altglas oder sontiges entleeren, Rasenmäher oder Dampfstrahler bei Toilettenhaus. Die Bar auf dem Campingplatz ist nicht wirklich einladend. Hier sitzt auch kaum jemand. Etwas unpersönlich aber dennoch bemüht und freundlich. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich doch wieder lieber den von uns bevorzugten Platz weiter südlich in Dongo nehmen.

Camping North Wind is located in the town of Domaso, on the northern side of Lake Como and is approximately 50 km from Como. Domaso is able to offer tailor made holidays, whether you’re seeking peace, or are searching for …sporting activities. Domaso is also the ideal destination for athletes, not only due to its strategic location at the lake, but also for mountain lovers. Here you can walk, go mountaineering and/or ride your mountain bike. In the winter you can ski or walk on our beautiful snowy peaks with your snow shoes on. Near Domaso all the old traditions are still there; the villages are distinctive and the unique landscape of an incomparable beauty. Centered in a relatively small area, you’ll find its history, art, food and pristine nature. Easy to reach for those arriving from the South by car. While on the A4 to Milan, keep following Lecco, continue to do so until you reach Colico, than continue by following Menaggio; you might be coming via Splügenpass, Julier o Maloja. When you’re in Chiavenna, than please continue your route to Lake Como and you therefore have to continue heading to Menaggio; or via the St Gotthard tunnel then get the exit at Lugano, and proceed in the direction of Gandria, Menaggio, St-Moritz. The bus stop is 50 meters from the entrance of the campsite (line C10 Como - Colico). The train station is only 11 km of Domaso (Colico Station, State Railways). The nearest airports are Milan Linate, Milan Malpensa and Milan Bergamo Orio al Serio, where many Low Cost Airlines land and where you would be able to make use of bus-train or car rental services. Please do not hesitate to contact us, because we will guide you on the best way possible. Even Hollywood celebrities like George Clooney, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and Catherine Zeta Jones all have chosen to go to Lake Como because it has something magical… Where we, the staff of Camping North Wind, will be waiting for you.
