"Nice place, but the too many dogs are a nuisance - A beautiful and well-kept campsite with a great location right by the sea, especially if you have a premium pitch. The staff (from reception to the gardener/electrician) are very friendly throughout, especially Valentina at reception. especially Valentina at reception. The (unfortunately only) restaurant on site offers good food at fair prices. However, the prices in the supermarket are very high and the quality (especially of the vegetables and bread rolls) is poor. In addition, they don't have the full range of products every day, but sometimes one thing today and something else tomorrow. But the many dogs - or rather their owners - who don't follow the rules and lie with their dogs on the actually dog-free section of the beach and take them onto the SUP are really bad. And then you come across the dog poo while swimming, so we left early. Unfortunately, the management does nothing about this dog nuisance.

"does not deliver what it promises - It was our first time here and we were very disappointed. The pitches are nicely laid out, but that's where it ends. The price/performance ratio is not right. The taverna and beach bar advertised on the homepage is not available. When asked at reception, the answer was, "The boss knows about it, but doesn't do anything". The restaurant was expensive and not comparable with the restaurants outside, plus the waitress deliberately ignored us and ended up ripping us off. The wash houses look nice from the outside but the showers are dirty and smelly. 11€ per night for a dog is also cheeky. The human costs €14.50. Evening entertainment not really available either. Except when paying, the staff at the reception seemed very listless. Unfortunately, no transfer is offered from the campsite to the larger towns. The bus/taxi transfer offered is expensive and does not belong to the campsite. For us one of the worse places in Croatia.

"Clean place - We spontaneously became aware of the site because of the Google reviews and the 5 stars. We had one of the premium gravel pitches near the rear wash house. The sanitary facilities were clean, but even small defects such as broken towel rails in the showers were not repaired during our stay. The restaurant was good, prices reasonable and the staff very friendly. The ladies at reception were also friendly, if a little undercooked. The location close to the refinery and airport cannot be glossed over, but this is clear to everyone on maps before booking. The cultural offerings in the immediate vicinity are manageable, but the island itself offers plenty to see. The beach bar, pool bar and bar were closed all the time, despite the pitches being almost full. Overall, the stay was absolutely fine, but 5 stars are incomprehensible and the price does not match the service offered.

"The campsite is overpriced - The campsite is overpriced. The trees and bushes are still very small and therefore offer hardly any shade. The sanitary facilities are super modern and clean, but not adequate. Defective facilities are not repaired, from the lighting in the showers to the privacy screens in the men's showers, etc. The restaurant was not to our taste and the prices are exorbitant. This also applies to the supermarket. The campsite has potential, but more attention needs to be paid to maintenance.

"Never again! - We are holders of the ACSI discount card. We were allocated a pitch in the far corner by the dog waste bin, electricity was not available. Allegedly everything was occupied, which was a lie.

"Very large but good campsite - We visited the island of Krk and the city of Rijeka. We got a very good pitch even without booking. Very good service.

All pitches in the camp are equipped to the highest ADAC standards and will surely become your favourite place to camp and relax with your family. Thanks to its location, many pitches in Camp Omišalj are by the sea. All pitches are numbered, with water and electricity connections, waste water drainage and offer every modern camping facility. The pitches are divided into three zones, with sizes ranging from 100 to 140 m2. The pitch booking price includes: car + tent / car + caravan / camper van. Two modern and fully equipped sanitary points are available to guests. These ensure germ-free hygiene. The sanitary facilities are barrier-free. A beautiful pebble beach stretches along the entire length of Pušća Bay. The beach in Omišalj campsite meets all the criteria for a relaxing beach holiday. For those who want to relax in the swimming pool, there is an outdoor pool right on the beach and the Maris restaurant. There is a children's pool for your little ones. While your little ones are entertained, you can relax on the comfortable deckchairs right by the pool. There are entertainment programmes for children and adults, so that your holiday is even more interesting and relaxed. You can take part in the entertaining programmes led by our entertainment team every day. Spend the recreational part of your holiday in the cosy company of our entertainers, who will make sure that you start your day with a little workout. Numerous sports competitions, entertainment programmes for adults and music evenings will ensure an excellent holiday. The zoo is home to many animals, including sheep, donkeys, ducks, goats, horses and ponies. Z AVTOMOBILOM Če prihajate z avtomobilom iz smeri Zagreba, peljite po avtocesti A1 proti Reki. Nato po hitri cesti A7 naravnost do Krčkega mostu, ki povezuje otok s celino, od mostu do Kampa Omišalj pa imate samo 3 kilometre. Če …prihajate iz smeri Ljubljane, peljite proti Mejnemu prehodu Jelšane – Rupa ter sledite kažipote proti mestu Reki. Nato zapeljite na hitro cesto A7, ki vas pelje naravnost do Krčkega mostu, nakar rabite še samo 3 kilometre, da pridete na lokacijo. Z LETALOM Letališče Reka je samo nekaj minut oddaljeno od Kampa Omišalj, do njega pa lahko pridete z raznimi direktnimi poleti iz mest, kot so: Berlin, Frankfurt, Gotenborg, Hamburg, Koln, London, Košice, Oslo, Pariz, Riga, Tallinn, Tel Aviv, Varšava, … Z LADJO Na otok Krk lahko pridete tudi s trajektom z otoka Raba ali Cresa, s trajektnimi linijami Valbiska (Krk) – Lopar (Rab) in Valbiska (Krk) – Merag (Cres). Z AVTOBUSOM V mesto Omišalj lahko pridete tudi z avtobusom iz Reke, z rednimi dnevnimi linijami Arriva Hrvatska.
