When you turn into the campsite entrance, you see a very clean
very clean and tidy reception area. Very friendly staff who knew the answer to every question. The site is clearly... laid out and well structured, we quickly found our way around.
The central point is the complete sanitary area with all its facilities. The showers, washrooms, toilets and service rooms (laundry, washing machine and children's playground) are clean and tidy. It is regrettable that not all campers pay attention to tidiness and cleanliness, so that the desired cleanliness is not always to be found at peak times.

New areas with separate power supply and water extraction points have already been laid out and are in top condition. The lawns are laid out with hard-wearing grass and are level. Comfort pitches are to follow soon.
Vehicles are parked in a separate parking... lot so that there is no constant traffic on the site. This should be particularly reassuring for families with small children. There is also a new playground, although it is still somewhat hidden due to current building work.
A drainage station for gray water and chemical toilets are available at the new sanitary building, which unfortunately has not yet been opened, but will certainly open soon. This is centrally located on the site and is easy to reach. Once the renovation is complete, it will be a great site, the potential of which can only be guessed at the moment.
The old sanitary building is no longer up to date and no longer meets the expectations of many campers, but everything is clean. We would therefore ask you to be lenient with the ratings.
The staff are friendly and helpful. You are made to feel welcome from the very beginning. We have already booked again.Samodejno prevedeno.

A new building for the sanitary facilities is under construction, electricity comes from a construction power box, but electricity is electricity, the place is under construction. It is a few meters to the water (ideal for water sports), the Goitzschesee cycle path goes... right past the campsite and invites you to cycle tours. Shopping facilities/restaurants and the harbor/Bitterfeld are nearby. The staff are very friendly. We found it clean and quiet. (Everything is still to come.)Still under constructionOne should still be lenient with the rating of this site, as it is still under construction after a change of ownership. The current sanitary facilities have been renovated by the previous owner, but are somehow reminiscent of bygone GDR times. However, a new building is under construction. It is not... known whether it will be finished this year. The grass cover is very poor and therefore extremely dry at the moment. The loose trees make a nice impression. There is not (yet?) a separate drain for the gray water. The placement of the residential boats directly facing the lake is unfortunate. A platform with benches would have been nicer here. To sum up at the present time: this assessment is only provisional until completion. This site definitely has great potential. It is to be hoped that the further planning will be done by people who know something about camping.Samodejno prevedeno.
