Wash houses are new and ok

Cross roads are too narrow Practically nobody has managed to park on these roads with a trailer, at most with a mover. The bushes that border the plots are mowed close to the ground, but the clippings are simply left lying around. The next time the wind blows or it rains, everything is back on the pitch. Service in the restaurants sometimes very unfriendly. Prices are far too high in the restaurants, in the stores and on the beach for sun loungers. Depending on the plot, you have to walk a few hundred meters to the beach. Some of the pitches are so steep that you can hardly manage to drive onto them with a caravan. Music too loud until 11 pm, even at a distance of several hundred meters. The new (quick check-in) didn't work at all. We had to fill in all the details we had already given online again. Rental price for jet skis for 1 hour outside of Ireland 175 euros
Was the only vacation here
All in all, we were disappointed. We were here in a motorhome with a small trailer and a scooter. That was fine. But otherwise you're a bit cut off here. Prices are more than steep. We stayed at a campsite nearby for many years. We will return there. When we visited last year, there was still a beach... bar here where you could have a beer even in swimming trunks, but unfortunately it was closed. If I want to have a quick drink in the afternoon, I don't need to be looked at reproachfully when I tell the waitress that I don't want to eat. Why do most of the waitresses only speak English?

At 6.30 am the garbage collection comes and makes so much noise that you stand upright in bed. We had pitch 516 until 11.30 pm floodlights from the sports facility directly into the awning. Super!
Young... people screaming on the mini golf course until 2.00 am. In the end we slept for 4 hours at night.
Super relaxing vacation. Thanks for that.

The site is well laid out, with lots of corridors in between. The sanitary facilities are of a high standard.

THE pitches are often planted with trees and difficult to use with a lot of equipment (awning, sun awning). Not often degrees with strong height difference.
Nice place with some shortcomings
Unfortunately, I have to agree with many of the comments and criticize the price structure. The fact that six people are included on a pitch is also price gouging in my opinion. Also, the animation until 11.00 pm on the first pitches is too loud.

Family-friendly campsite with absolutely friendly staff, the camper is the main focus. Spacious area, very well structured. Very clean and modern sanitary facilities.

As the supermarket on this site is newly built, the nearest shopping facilities are about 2 km away at the next campsite. There is a bakery on site but a Kaiser roll costs 1.20 euros, as well as a small restaurant, which is very expensive and the portions are very small (overpriced)
Top campsite
Many thanks to all the staff for the all-round care. A special thanks to Marta, Leon and Iva from reception, who placed an order for us at a camp market 40 km away. Our table broke on the 2nd day and we had no way of getting there other than a cab. The table was delivered 2 days later.

Beautiful medium-sized campsite
Lovely campsite with many fine qualities. Nice and spacious pitches. Several activities at the beach and pool. We cycled to the town of Rovinj along the water all the way from the campsite with our children aged 11 and 14. Great experience.

The location directly on the well-kept pebble beach with a view of the bay is great. The complex is well maintained and clean, the new sanitary facilities are first class. Pool area freshly renovated and presentable. Loungers cost extra, but who needs them on this beach?

The prices are a total rip-off. Fries €5.90 / burger (solo) from €12.30. Drinks are also subterranean in terms of price/performance ratio. Pizza in the on-site restaurant also around 12€, although of really good quality. Some of the pitches are so uneven that a wedge alone is not enough. The "premium" here refers solely to the location and water connection. Pedalo 20€/h Water not as clear as elsewhere, but this is due to the pebble beach. The LifeGuard high seat was always unoccupied. No milkshakes available at either the pool or beach bar (btw, these cost €8 in the center of Rovinj) No opportunity to go for a nice stroll somewhere in the evening - unless you drive to Rovinj by car and pray for a parking space and then desperately look for a restaurant with a good price/performance ratio. Evening program consisted of small bands appearing here and there. Apart from Rovinj, there were no sights worth mentioning in the vicinity.
Very well grown
That's it for us with Istria in general and this place in particular. If you expect top quality food and lots of culture, you should go to Italy - here in Istria you will be disappointed and ripped off in this respect. General inflation and economic situation or not - other countries can do much better even in these times.

Visitors are cheated in category and price!

We were visiting in May/June 2023. We booked the Premium Sea category many months in advance. On the homepage and in other portals this category was advertised as row 2-4.
When we were there, we realized that the management had extended... this category by one row. However, the description on the internet had not changed by the time we left in June 2023.
We were forced to pay for the high category - as booked - although this did not match the one we received on site.

Here the category and price are adjusted at will in favor of the operator and the customers are shamed.....
We immediately pointed this out to the staff on arrival, who acted ignorant and only referred us to the management.

The management has still not responded to our complaints. Although we have several screenshots as of 06/23 (homepage and other portals) as proof and have also submitted them.

Why should they care about customer satisfaction, they have inflow and our money.

We paid € 855.68 from 26.05.-04.06.23 (9 nights) for the Premium Sea category (rows 2-4).

We were given a seat in row 5!
So one category worse!

Everything is just right at Cp Vestar. Incredibly friendly staff, the size of the pitches, restaurants, a super dog beach. The whole complex is exceptionally well maintained.

There is nothing more to add here. Our stay was just great. The weather was of course also very nice. The sanitary blocks are in absolutely top condition?

Beautiful campsite with large pitches
Friendly reception, with a list of free pitches we were able to choose our pitch on the site. Almost all of the pitches have good access and are large enough. There is a good mix of sunny and shady pitches. In some areas of the campsite there are relatively sloping pitches. Towards the beach they become... more and more level. Sanitary building no. 6 near us is a bit dated but was always clean. The pebble beach with its own dog beach was also nice and our pelt-nose had fun there. There is also a dog area on the campsite. The dog-friendly nature of the campsite naturally meant that many dog owners used it. The food shop at the campsite was a bit sparsely stocked, which was probably due to the time of year. Due to the distance to the nearest supermarket and to Rovinj, you should at least have bicycles with you. The pool and also the water playground seem to be ok, we didn't use the pool. With a pizzeria, a grill restaurant and a hamburger stand, we also found the kunlinarik well represented. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will certainly not have used this campsite for the last time.

Second time there, we love coming here
This is our second time here. We love the atmosphere here. The sea is very calm and smooth due to the bay. It's ideal for children to go into the sea as it's shallow with fine pebbles. However, this also makes it choppy and not clear. There is a second pebble beach which is clearer. You can take the... SuP to the island opposite. The campsite is relatively busy during the day and not very quiet, but very quiet at night. The pool needs renovation, some of the tiles are broken and the bottom is sandy. The extremely clean wash house 5 is great and, unlike last year, there is always hot water.
Somehow you feel at home, which is no wonder with 90 percent Germans. All the staff speak German and are very friendly. They try their best. We had pitch 112, which was great, but a bit noisy from 8 pm to 11 pm due to the playground, water and waste water is on the neighboring plot. New this year was the renovation of the pizzeria. We didn't go there as we always order from Dario. So I can't say anything about the taste. Prices were high, but ok. The children's disco was no longer at the harbor, but in the mini club, so it was very loud for an hour in the evening. The nice bar at the harbor is unfortunately also gone.
The bakery is relatively expensive, I recommend shopping in the new Konzum on the square, you don't have to stand there for so long. In the off-season, the hedges have already been trimmed and the first renovations carried out. The last two days there were a lot of snakes/tiger mosquitoes. The garbage should be emptied a little more often. We will be back.

Nice not too big campsite
We've been to various campsites in Istria over the last few years, but only in mobile homes. This year we decided to rent a motorhome and get a feel for real camping. We looked for a new campsite again and booked a pitch at Camping Vestar. Of course we read the reviews here. We can't understand some... of the negative reviews.

The campsite offers a "Fast Check In" a few days in advance. You can enter your details online beforehand. On arrival, check-in only took five minutes. Checking out was also quick and uncomplicated. We had the Premium pitch (number 128). This was 30m from the new, very well-kept sanitary facilities, approx. 50m from the bakery and fruit stand, and also approx. 50m from the pool. We were also only about 150m from the sea. Massages are also offered, which we of course took advantage of. The price for 50 minutes was around €50. So this was the ideal pitch for us. The pitch was sufficient for a motorhome with a length of 7.5 meters. Electricity and water connections were available.

Good restaurants, very good cuisine, friendly staff. Prices, however, in the upper range. We found the campsite not to be noisy. We have experienced others where music played until three o'clock in the morning.

Beach: Pebble beach with sunbathing areas, some of the sand is whirled up and therefore a little cloudy, but we didn't mind.

Conclusion: Pricewise in the high season in the upper range but we would visit this place again and recommend it to others.

At the beginning of June there were already a lot of families with children, so it was very loud until late at night. Pool area could not be used as it was overcrowded with children. Poor to no information on arrival at reception when checking in.
Nice campsite, but already very full in June
Next time we will arrive in May to have more rest.
The price for the pitch and other costs was very high.

Very nice campsite
We have often stayed at a Maistra campsite, but this was our first time at Cp Vestar. We really enjoyed it and will be back. Nice big pitches with water connection.

I liked the location of the pitch and the new wash house.

The reception is unfriendly and occupies pitches twice. There are many trees on the pitches, despite premium and therefore far too little space the pitches are extremely crooked and a wedge is sometimes not enough. There is mold in the showers in the old wash houses. I wouldn't go showering there with a child. There are only three showers in the last wash house. In the evening there is a long queue.
No 4 stars!
We were here for the first and last time. There are obviously only two types of guests here. Those who keep coming back for years and don't accept any criticism of the place and those who don't have rose-tinted spectacles on. Not everything is so great here. And for a 4-star place, I expect no mold in the showers and more friendliness and willingness to compromise.

The site is located in a beautiful bay. Shallow water access for children. Cloudy at this point, however, as it is choppy.
Paved and well-kept paths. Plot nice and large and well maintained.
Reservation went wrong due to double occupancy, but we were given great help.
Swimming pool needs renovation,... was also not so clean in the pool.
Bakery is not good.
It's great that you can pay cash everywhere with the wristbands.
Corona is not available here. No masks, no distance.
Sanitary 4 and 5 new and nice, but no hot water, no matter what time. Wash house 6 old and wash house 7 an imposition. An outdoor shower, a baby bath and family showers were forgotten in the new wash houses... There are rental bathrooms, but showering our toddler was not easy as there is no hand shower.
During storms our pitch was completely under water, but good drainage.
All in all a nice place, but very busy and not for those seeking peace and quiet.

Pitches very unkempt. Too bad. Otherwise very clean sanitary facilities. Friendliness of the waiters leaves a lot to be desired. Sanitary and reception very friendly. Not 4 stars but 3. Many dogs even in the dog-free area. Annoying. Nobody cares if fighting dogs run around freely. Beautiful bays towards Polari, nice and empty of people. The opening hours of all restaurants and stores should be reconsidered. I think 19.00 is the right time.

No COVID measures. (No mandatory mask check in the sanitary facilities, no GGG check on arrival). Uneven, unclean places, thus ant problem. Swimming area sufficiently large, needs renovation in some parts (loungers, pool edge, tiles)
Camping is ok
Campsite is okay in size; perhaps 40% fully booked due to Corona risk area in the first week of Pentecost. Stores and supermarket still closed.
2 sanitary buildings are new and clean. The rest of the buildings are old, birds have their nests there and therefore dirty.
Pitches are big enough but covered... and so we had a big ant problem which could not be solved. We couldn't put the caravan anywhere else as the tree was in the middle of the pitch.
Beach at the site is nice for children.
Could get crowded when fully occupied. Sanitary facilities not very clean; 1 bakery; few sun loungers by the pool, long but narrow stretch of beach.

As vaccinated people, we had relaxing and restful days in an otherwise very touristy area on an overpriced campsite with potential.
