"very disappointing! - Disco music until 4:30am! Unfortunately, we had already paid for a front row paradise spot in anticipation of a family vacation close to nature. Alternative offer of a place in the back row or a change to Venice, neither of which was an alternative for us. Baia-Holiday was not prepared to find a compromise. The money is gone. Although the pitch was demonstrably re-let afterwards. Electricity, water and tourist tax even withheld. Billed twice. I am so disappointed! Bottom line: Big disappointment in the treatment by the Baia-Holiday company. The campsite was OK, but loud disco music, which is not pointed out, also no indication that sports and bathing facilities are clearly limited. Under the circumstances mentioned, the highest price was charged and no willingness to compromise if it didn't suit. I advise against it! The problem seems to have existed for some time. Unfortunately, I have not read the reviews sufficiently. In my opinion, the previous negative reviews have not led to any improvement.

"Beautiful views - The site is located directly on the cliffs overlooking the Gulf of Trieste. However, the pitches with a sea view are very expensive. It's nice to take a walk along the Rilke path to Duino Castle. The bus stop is right in front of the campsite. This means you can travel to Trieste or Miramare by public transport. Tickets can be bought at the campsite. There is a pool for swimming, but it wasn't open, and a shuttle service to the pebble beach at Sistiana. I didn't like it that much. There is a small store and a café with a great view where you can also eat.

"Italy in September - Beautifully situated campsite above a bathing bay with its own "train", large pool with restaurant and wonderful view as far as Trieste and Miramare Castle, sanitary facilities cleaned several times a day. Staff friendly, helpful and competent. We would love to come back

"Far too expensive for agile performance - It is with great regret that we have to report our disappointment about our stay from 22-24.5.21. We had booked and paid for a place in advance. Even then I was astonished to discover that, despite full payment in advance, a reservation fee of €12 was charged. The unusually high price of €60 for this season kept my expectations high. Unfortunately, they were very disappointed. As nice as the campsite is, it does not meet the expectations of a 4-star campsite. The sanitary facilities have no toilet paper and are not heated, which made the shower unusable in the prevailing temperatures. Last but not least, the disposal station for motorhomes was not state of the art (waste water runs over the pitch as it is impossible to position the vehicle drain over the centrally located drain). The disposal for the chemical toilet was also simply blocked (taped off). The W-Lan did not work and even if the staff had apologies and were polite and helpful, it is not a sign of a 4 star place. More than 60.-€ per night for a place that does not even offer the essentials is simply outrageous

The Camping Village Mare Pineta, a few kilometers from Trieste, overlooks the magnificent Sistiana Bay, in a panoramic position where the eye is lost in the Gulf of Trieste. The Camping Village is bordered by the famous Rilke trail, a …very suggestive walk that, overlooking the sea, reaches up to the Duino castle. The Camping is located in an enchanting maritime pine wood, behind the Carso, facing the Gulf of Trieste, with panoramic and fully equipped pitches. The Village consists of mobile homes and bungalows of different types, which can accommodate up to 6 people, with style and modern and essential design. Inside the campsite you will find a beautiful swimming pool with a wellness area and swimming pools for children with sun beds and umbrellas rental service. A fun little train takes guests to the beach, to the delight of the little ones. Free animation and Mini Club. Playground. Many activities, sports and tour desk. Possibility to rent small boats. Sea view bar, restaurant, pizzeria, where you can enjoy excellent Italian and international cuisine. More moved, directly on the Rilke path, it is possible to have an aperitif or to have a snack while admiring the splendid panorama on the Gulf of Trieste. Near the thermal parks and the most beautiful nature reserves of Friuli. Sportsmen can have fun on the tennis court and soccer field, basketball, volleyball and gym, while a large and new playground will brighten the children's holiday. The animation team of the Camping Village Mare Pineta organizes games, tournaments and shows during the summer season.
